Super Mario Bros. 1 is still such a good game. It’s so well written and fun to play.

Nintendo’s crowning achievement. I still can’t believe how good it is.

I voted for Super Mario Galaxy 1. I’m so impressed with it. I think it’s the best Nintendo game.

No wonder they named the second Mario animated movie after it.

I do my best to play all Switch Online games at least once so I’ll play Tonic Trouble but after the 2D Rayman Legends was so good I have actually been waiting for Rayman 2.

I finally managed to get this game on GameCube. Absolutely beautiful game.

This is why I’m so glad I followed my heart and only bought Nintendo consoles. Their journey has been incredible. For example without the Wii U we might never have got the Switch which is my favourite console of all time.

Europe / North America. You can clearly see the colours of Samus’s suit and you can clearly see the pinball flippers and know exactly what the game will be.

You can see neither of these clearly on the Japanese version. But to be fair to it what remains really looks like the middle of a pinball table very much.

Also I can not think of a better Nintendo character to put in a pinball game than Samus with her morph ball ability.

Exciting times. I like finding out what Game Of The Year is.

Let it be known for public record. If you’re going to make a game about wheelchair basketball you should check the physics with the experience of shooting hoops from a wheelchair in real life.

I feel this is not rocket science but thank goodness they figured it out here. Lesser mortals would not have. For sure it has let to a better game.

I’m playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Just finished Deep Magma Bog. Still not a bad level in the whole entire game.

I’m very glad they held off releasing it until they were happy. Like the review from this site says it seems to have produced a wonderful game to rival even Super Mario World.

Yes. I’m still using this service. Until New Super Mario Bros. 2 comes to Switch I will still fire my 2DS XL up every once in a while.

@Shiryu Thank you so much for the bug reports. I still play Debris Infinity all the time like every few weeks. I love it so much I submitted it to the Nintendo Life article on games they missed that don’t have reviews.

The one thing I would change in Debris Infinity is I would like to keep my powered up weapon until I get hit. I don’t want it to run out by itself.

I voted Europe because that’s the version I have. Absolutely beautiful piece of kit, by the way. Highly recommended.

I went to the games I haven’t played much and found Kid Tripp, an auto-runner where you can jump and shoot. It has quick restart which is good as you die a lot. That was seriously fun.

Also I’m working on finishing the wonderful Super Mario Bros. Wonder. I’m nearly there.

At the moment my Geometry Wars itch is being scratched on Switch by the excellent Debris Infinity.

I’ve been playing Super Mario Bros. Wonder with an SNES controller this weekend. I’ve been waiting years for this moment and it’s been nice.

I really like Brie Larson. I’m happy to see her in this film.

I actually really like Baby Bowser here too. He’s not too scary for younger children and they are clearly the main target audience.

(Honestly I tried to get this SNES controller as soon as I saw the article headline but I had trouble. Maybe they are sold out already?)

I have literally been waiting for this for years. I am so excited to play U Deluxe and all the other 2D Mario games available on Switch and Switch Online with an SNES controller.

The Japan cover is a deserving winner. I thought the North America cover looked a bit cheesy but I voted for it because it has an actual screen grab in the cover. I hardly ever see that. That is so cool.

(I get annoyed when I see a game advert and no actual gameplay is there. It’s all cutscenes. Nintendo are actually pretty good at showing the actual game in adverts.)

Game looks good. This article is right: the voice acting is excellent.

The GameCube version is £10 at CeX today. Looks like good value.

I have been playing Super Mario World for a few weekends now. Having a great time. They are the most popular 2D Mario physics of professional players so it is not going to hurt for me to practice them.

Even though Sony moved the goalpost and said PlayStation 2 actually sold 160 million units I have still been wondering if Switch 1 can sell over that and become the bestselling console of all time.

Preserving artwork that is going to be thrown away isn’t stealing. It’s hero work. 😎

I’m doing another playthrough of Super Mario World, playing on Nintendo Switch Online so I can use rewind to keep Yoshi for longer. It’s been really fun.

I don’t use the Nintendo Music app much but I listen to the Wind Waker main music so much. I love them so.

I actually really like short games. I often choose a two hour game or a twenty hour game over a two hundred hour game.

I like modern controls. It was jarring when I finally got Wind Waker for GameCube last year and look left and look right were inverted.

I got used to it and see why they did it at the time.

I voted North America/Europe because I like it a bit more but these are both excellent.
