I had a good time firing up INK, the paintball platformer, and playing a few levels. Really fun.

Oh and Super Mario 3D World. I’m at the first of the Bowser world levels and level 1 is excellent with its waves of spikes coming up out of the platforms. Fantastic level design too.

Honestly this makes all the sense in the world. A Nintendo character with a spacecraft appearing in Super Mario Galaxy. Cool. Super cool.

Always happy to see another controller option. I have a few and sometimes it keeps my interest in a game to play with a different controller.

I love the talking flowers and always have. For me they give the game an identity and friendliness.

@Rykdrew Deleting save files? I’m concerned about this. I always backup my Super Mario Galaxy progress to another save file every time I play but I’ve just realised my 99.99 percent of New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is not backed up.

Rave Raver is so amazing in the arcades. I can’t wait to get this as soon as possible.

Both these games handle like a dream and are very responsive and hard to fault.

I like Silksong better because the basic attack is dealt sideways so it’s easier for me to deal damage and then land safely.

(The Hollow Knight basic attack is dealt straight down.)

Super Mario World on the SNES Nintendo Switch Online.

I just found out you can press L + R to access previously completed Castles or Fortresses so I’m doing a few levels on the best 2D Mario.

Sega Rally is really good. I love Ridge Racer and was playing it the other month. Star Wars Racer is insanely good even now and really holds up. I love F1 games. I’m paying attention to this game for sure.

This update looks excellent.

I’ve always found this Yoshi game mechanic interesting where you can swap two whole columns around. That’s pretty different from games like Dr. Mario and Tetris where you get what you’re given once pieces are placed. I’ll have to play it again at least once.

But looking at the Balloon Kid gameplay I really feel like I could play that game a lot. I got into it straight away.

Suika Game is such a good game with great gameplay and great music. I find it relaxing. Suika Game Planet is a must- buy for me. Thankfully it’s at a really good price.

Yoshi’s Crafted World for me this week. I’m at the last level and it’s time to roll credits on that game.

I like boobies and one of my biggest regrets is never having bought BMX XXX.

Having said that I have only ever bought Nintendo consoles and handhelds and one of the many good reasons is they are so good at protecting children from things they shouldn’t see.

Looks really good. I love platformers and I love twin-stick shooters. I really must support this game by buying it.

That’s really cool. I would much rather play these games in green than in red. A welcome addition.

This weekend I played and completed INK, the 2D platformer where the levels are invisible and you have to paint them.

Good fun. The last five levels took me a while to complete.

Yeah. This is a good game. I’ve finally discovered it and I’m having a great time. I love platformers like this.

I can’t decide if the Super Mario Bros. 1 style slippy physics was put there on purpose to increase the difficulty or it’s just how the game is.

I didn’t even notice the Mario voice actor had changed for Super Mario Bros. Wonder, such a good job Kevin did. Now I think about it this could be partly due to some of the heavy lifting done by the Talking Flowers.

Both Kevin and Charles did such a good job. Somehow subtle and iconic at the same time.

This is excellent news. With no disrespect meant to any man I much prefer to listen to a woman’s voice.

I voted for the Europe / North America cover. It is high action and shows the playable characters which I like a lot.

I see what Japan was going for and it’s a good depiction of a tennis serve but it’s such a singular idea and it didn’t hit for me.

You see the Europe / North America cover? You see the tennis ball at Mario’s racquet? And you see the net? The ball is on the wrong side of the racquet.

This week I was playing Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards on Nintendo Switch Online. The graphics are great and I fancied using the 64 controller D-pad instead of the stick.

I liked this review last year. It showed me I played way longer on Powerwash Simulator than I thought I was. (It takes a long time to clean all the nooks and crannies and time flies playing that game. Good game.)

Yeah that’s actually pretty smart waiting until after the holidays have finished to give the stats.

Yes. This looks great. I always go back to the Joy-Cons but I really do love using different controllers. It keeps things fresh and interesting.

The ability to change function of the triggers in this controller is particularly interesting to me.

I love this game and always have. We still have it in the arcade where I’m from.

Sometimes all you want from a console game is a few minutes of arcade excitement. This is that game.

@WaveBoy Yeah. I’m feeling that. Super Mario Galaxy with gyro instead of sensor bar does work but isn’t as good.

@WaveBoy I’m calling it now. Wii Nunchuk for Nintendo Switch Online will be wired to the wireless Wiimote.

I would LOVE to play my games with Nunchuk and Wiimote.

Wow. Space Invaders ia genuinely such a good game. I think they will have been keeping that back until release 500.

Super Mario Bros. 1 is still such a good game. It’s so well written and fun to play.

Nintendo’s crowning achievement. I still can’t believe how good it is.

I voted for Super Mario Galaxy 1. I’m so impressed with it. I think it’s the best Nintendo game.

No wonder they named the second Mario animated movie after it.

Super Mario Galaxy. I’ve been obsessed with it for weeks now. So good.

I do my best to play all Switch Online games at least once so I’ll play Tonic Trouble but after the 2D Rayman Legends was so good I have actually been waiting for Rayman 2.

I finally managed to get this game on GameCube. Absolutely beautiful game.

I think this is some of my favourite game music ever.

I voted North America. I feel there is more life in that one.

I continue to be playing and loving Super Mario Galaxy on Switch.
