I’m happy with Nintendo Switch Online. I consider it me doing my bit for the future of the company as I am not a shareholder.

It’s not perfect but it has its moments. When they released Super Mario land on the Game Boy app it was amazing because Game Boy was my first console that was actually mine and I played that game a lot.

It’s also given me a chance to play old games I would not have bought on Virtual Console.

I’m just now patiently waiting for a 3DS app and New Super Mario Bros. 2.

I’m very interested in this. I really liked playing Gravity Guy on mobile and this looks to have elements of that while looking as pretty as Sky: Children Of The Light.

Can’t wait to play it.

I’d love some input into Nintendo Switch Online. I love it. It’s so cool that it’s there.

I am very much waiting for 3DS games, specifically New Super Mario Bros. 2.

I’m guessing Nintendo are waiting for a bigger capacity solid state drive on Switch 2 before adding the bigger file sizes of GameCube.

I’m loving Neon White. I just got it and I’m playing it as much as possible with what little time I have. It’s grabbed me straight away. It looks really pretty and I love you can jump really high from the start.

@Fizza Turok runs well from the minute I was there yesterday but I couldn’t find a place to invert my looking up and down like I could in Perfect Dark so I prefer the Eshop Turok 1 for now.

@ChessboardMan Yeah. The second controls and then detach joycons and swap hands. I did this yesterday evening and got it working. I just need to change button mapping and save a preset this evening to get A and B to trigger buttons.

Turok 1 and Perfect Dark on this app both have controls suited to using an official Switch 64 controller. I’m hoping Nintendo Life do a YouTube setup video saying instructions on how to get modern controls like the excellent one Alex did for Goldeneye on the regular Nintendo Switch Online 64 app.

This is great. Nintendo do a good job of protecting children from mature content but us adults want our games too and it looks like we are all looking forward to mature games actually being added now.

I’ve heard Zero Mission is the best way to play Metroid 1 so I’m going to love giving that a go.

What I’ve seen of Perfect Dark is good but I haven’t had time to play the 64 version much.

I LOVE Turok 2 so will start by firing up Turok 1. Playing games like this with modern controls is always a pleasure.

(I don’t want to play Metroid Prime 1 and Goldeneye with old controls any more.)

I am patiently waiting for GameCube and 3DS to come to Switch 2 so I can play my two favourite consoles and favourite 2D Mario New Super Mario Bros. 2 on the telly.

I’m sure it will happen eventually.

Wow. Great releases and thank goodness for the Nintendo Life reviews. One of these is a stinker with three out of ten and three of them are nine out of ten games.

I LOVE super Mario Land and it was great to play it again when it recently released on this Game Boy app. I can’t wait to dive into these Mega Man games.

I’m 51. For me retro means anything 2D in the arcade or SNES era of consoles or before.

It doesn’t feel right calling any 3D game retro. Maybe we can come up with another word worthy enough to use for the origins of 3D.

Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal run great on Switch. I’m very excited to see this game.

I played the original Sprint arcade machine with steering wheel back in the day and that played awesome. You could keep the steering wheel spinning so it was freewheeling and the car would take the corner perfectly.

Super Mario Land for me. I see by the vote a lot of people are.

I love the game and I’m so excited playing it on my current generation Nintendo finally.

Well that’s interesting. That’s what I’ve been waiting for because that’s the game I connected with on the original Game Boy.

Because they held it back for so long I thought they would remake it from the ground up like they did with Link’s Awakening.

Maybe that’s the full price £50 game they are working on.

Rush Rally Origins. OhMyGod it’s awesome. It is an isometric rally game with skid physics but you can change the camera to ’helicopter chase mode’ to follow the car from the back which I like.

I’m really getting into it.

I love the Joy-Cons. They are an amazing bit of kit and so versatile. They feel good in handheld. I love them in the supplied controller attachment. The sticks feel great and the buttons might be the best Nintendo buttons ever. I LOVE that they supply dedicated up down left right buttons on the left side. I use that all the time for 2D games.

Long story short I can't wait to see how Nintendo improves on the Joy-Con. Their controllers have always been amazing.

What a fantastic article. Most everybody will suffer mental health problems at some stage in their life even if it’s for a short while and using racers as a coping mechanism sounds like it worked a treat.

Penny’s Big Breakaway for sure. It is awesome. I played it and loved it, saw it was getting hype and love, and then I went in to Twitch and a streamer I watch was playing it. Good times.

This game is really fun. Can confirm.

He’s right. Get it into people’s hands and you get it. I really got into the demo. Very nice game.

Couple of things to mention.

I really like that you can press Y to yo-yo forwards but use the right stick and it becomes a yo-yo twin stick shooter. 😊

Also if you go behind something you become like a shadow drawn in blue biro. I loved that. It reminds me of Inked: A Tale Of Love.

I really like this concept. So it’s a platformer but the platforms are the shadows on the ground. Cool.

Not gonna lie I like the look of nearly every game in the most recent Indie Direct.

Game looks great. I have to thank the company for the free demo and Nintendo Life for the article because although I’d heard of the game I’d not seen it run. Now I have to get the demo.

Super interesting because the horizontal Advance and the tablet 2DS are two of the most comfortable handheld systems out there and are begging to be used as controllers.

I’m a controlleraholic so I’ll be following developments of this cartridge. Only trouble is I only have an Advance SP and Advance Micro so this might not be for me.

Super cool. I’m a huge fan of Keanu Reeves and I’ve liked both Sonic films. Sonic 3 is shaping up to be looking good.

I’m playing New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. It’s time to get access to the last few levels in Superstar Road so I’ve been playing one level, getting the three Star Coins and finishing for the day.

I’d most want to visit the Breath Of The Wild level because it’s so pretty there and I’d like to see that Odyssey level because the colours are so neon and I’d love to go there.
