Rewind is huge. Thank you Nintendo. I completed Suoer Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels with it which would have taken nearly forever without it.

It’s so useful. With it I can see the end of more games.

Unfortunately this looks to be simply a wrong thumbnail, which is a shame because I’ve played the Poochy version and either the 3DS or Wii U version would be great to have on Switch or Switch 2.

I’m so glad it is Switch 2. I was hoping it would be.

I’ve been thinking. It’s perfectly possible Nintendo will put the GameCube Wind Waker on Switch Online and sell the Wii U Wind Waker HD for full price.

(The strictly limited release of the Super Mario 3D All-Stars with Super Mario Sunshine is making a bit more sense now Sunshine is coming to Switch Online.)

Bit of a shame I won’t have to pay £230 for a GameCube disk of Chibi Robo now. 😏

GameCube!! I’m so happy. 🥰 Literally I have had a GameCube controller on my phone Lock Screen for months and refused to change it until Switch Online GameCube was announced.

And yeah. Wind Waker. I only got it last year and now I don’t have to fire up my GameCube.

Literally this is what I’m most excited about, more even than Switch 2. For months now I’ve had a GameCube controller as my phone Lock Screen Wallpaper and I want to change it only when Nintendo release the Nintendo Switch Online official GameCube controller.

Games I’m hoping for are Wind Waker, the five James Bond games and Extreme G 3.

My favourite Nintendo YouTuber Scott The Woz is always talking about how much he likes Tomodachi Life and he’s a good beacon of good taste.

Good game. I use it to chill out and it’s really good for that actually.

I really like this game now I figured out you can aim more accurately with the L and R buttons. (Controls are not listed in the game settings so I didn’t know.)

Also pressing the Y button to get a sort of isometric view of your aiming can be useful.

I really needed a chill-out so I played a few Break Time levels in Super Mario Bros. Wonder to collect coins for one-ups and am now relaxing with Pool Fever, the eShop game where you aim with L and R.

It destroys me a little inside when a pro gaming YouTuber pronounces a game wrong. 😊

@Kazman2007 Yeah. The GIF creator wants it to be pronounced Jiff which makes no sense because it comes from Graphic Interchange Format so it should be Ghiff because of how we say Graphic.

I actually really like articles like this. I love finding out the right way to pronounce things.

(I find it’s often the C.E.O. of the company that clarifies pronunciation.)

My favourite story on this subject is Lidl, a supermarket here in the U.K. It is pronounced LEEE-dl in their native Germany but they have their ‘Middle Of Lidl’ that rhymes and they have to keep this LIHH-dl pronunciation and I like that we’re keeping it.

Its poetry brings me joy. 😊

Yes. This is exactly the kind of game I can get behind: a game where you do good in the world, encouraging recycling and clearing up rubbish. It looks beautiful and fun to play.

Hopefully it’s satisfying like Powerwash Simulator.

Trials Rising demo. I am so excited to find a game like this. I used to have a motorbike trials game on my phone so this is hitting nostalgia. I can’t wait to get the full game next week.

And it’s been great in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe ramping up the difficulty getting the last few Star Coins.

I have the SN30 Pro+ and can confirm 8BitDo d-pads are absolutely amazing. Mine feels like an SNES controller and I’m willing to bet this feels like a pro controller.

Yes. Exactly, Ollie. I don’t want to call it ‘Japanese-ness’ but the originality some Nintendo games have is exactly why we are playing them years and decades later.

I’m torn on this one.

Those in the know say Pocketpair clearly stole assets and there was even talk of an A.I. system just talking anything online it wanted and using it.

On the other side of the issue the fans of the game were playing Palworld and saying it has features Pokémon games should have had years ago.

Game Boy Tetris will be very nostalgic for me. A worthy addition.

Arcade Archives Vs. Super Mario Bros. Today I fancied a lot of input lag and the powerups not being where they should be. 😊

This is literally what I’ve been waiting for. The wallpaper on my mobile phone is the GameCube controller and I don’t want to change it until the Nintendo Switch Online GameCube controller comes out.

I have the Nintendo 64 Switch controller and it’s excellent. It’s exactly the same controller as the wired original one and that’s what I’d like for the GameCube one: for it to be exactly the same as the wired original.

Yeah. I sometimes use this app to listen to some of the Wind Waker music as I’ve just discovered that game and the music is amazing.

Also I sometimes listen to the music from Super Mario Odyssey because that music is really good and doesn’t even sound like it’s from a computer game.

Then I always go back to music from my two favourite games Super Mario Bros. 1 and Super Mario Land.

Yeah. Thanks, Arcade Archives. Everything I’ve got from you has been really excellent. Brings me back to when I was playing in the seafront arcade when I was younger.

I have maybe twenty Arcade Archives games. I would like to see Mr Do! added as I really like playing that game. Also the arcade version of Pang please. Pang Adventures on Switch was good but it got really difficult and I got stuck.

I’m going to be pleased with this release. I didn’t always play the best in series. I just played what I had. So I had Pro Skater 4 on GameCube and I had Tomb Raider: Angel Of Darkness on Apple Mac.

Both are just about to be released. Nice.

Super Mario Land 1 for me. For the first time I completed it twice through in one playthrough and got the option to jump to any level I want to play. I then saved that point on Nintendo Switch Online so I can revisit any level I want on the first Mario game I owned and one of my favourite Mario games of all time.

@sketchturner I know what you mean. For me I connected way more with Turok 2 than Turok 1 and it’s really exciting to play but I’m only a few levels into Turok 2 really.

I quite liked the mini-games in Princess Peach: Showtime! and I’ve played Poochy And Yoshi’s Woolly World which was legendary. SO good. Also Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn is excellent.
