Do they ever show console sales? I know when you guys post the Japanese charts, we always get the console sales, which is cool. I'm just intrigued to see how the Switch 2 sales are doing week by week, especially with Christmas looming upon us.
Been using on a daily basis for 12 of those years and had an account for 9 of them. Literally the one website I take great pleasure using on a daily basis. Please keep up the incredible work! 🙌
@jufonuk Companies make very little, if any profit on the actual hardware, so by letting their software appear on other systems, they can make profit from those sales. From a business perspective, it's great and will make Microsoft a ton of money, but from a fans perspective, kind of a slap in the face if you shelled 400 odd pounds on a console only to see the games appear elsewhere.
@Jack_Goetz I know what you mean. I've had to import about 10 Capcom games, just so I can have the physically. It's really annoying. The Marvel vs Capcom collection was the most bizarre one. They released a physical disc copy for PS4 and then released a code in a box for Switch. What is even the point of that? 🤯
What I will say though is this, if physical gaming was to ever stop, or at least, the way it is today (I guess we'll always have things such as Limited Run, Pix and Love, Strictly Limited, etc), I will probably call it a day buying new games and just focus on playing all my older games. Buying something and not really owning it seems somewhat silly to me, but that's just my opinion. Each to their own. 🤷
This looks a lovely book. May have to consider looking into getting it.
I still have some Club Nintendo items from back in the day. I have a SNES pro controller for the Wii, a Club Nintendo games rack shaped like the logo, a Mario Kart Wii lanyard, a Club Nintendo branded plushy question mark block that makes sounds, Mario Kart 8 CD, Animal Crossing CD, Kirby Triple Deluxe CD, Smash Bros CD, Zelda Ocarina of Time CD, Mario branded Hanafuda cards, StarFox Assault poster and I'm sure I have a couple of other items too, but can't remember from the top of my head. I did have a Club Nintendo branded hat, but I lost that one.
@YunoboCo You're comparing an RPG to a party game there though. RPG's appeal to a certain audience only, where party games appeal to a much higher audience.
I wouldn't worry too much about those sales numbers. With Christmas coming up, people will be starting to reign in their spending now, so it's not as if people don't want to actually play the game
Would love for Amy to turn up, get kidnapped and Sonic and the gang would have to go through Metal to save her. Sure, it would basically just be Sonic CD in movie form, but I'm sure no one would have a problem with that 😉👌
Got mine (technically) yesterday and I cannot express just how good they look. The attention to detail make these some of the best looking yet. Seriously,.if you've been on the fence over these sets, I highly recommend them 😁👌
Not missed a theme yet, so I'll defintiely be on this, though I was kinda hoping for a Nintendo World Championships one next. I'm sure it'll come in time
Anything localised by Kaz Ayabe and Millennium Kitchen is always welcome in my eyes. Loved Attack of the Friday Monsters, loved Shin-Chan: Me and the Professor on Summer Vacation and have always wanted to play the Boku no Natsuyasumi series. Can't wait to try this out! 🙌
I enjoyed it, though it wasn't what it was portrayed to be. It was a Knuckles TV show that had very little to do with Knuckles. The bad guys had naff all character development, the show also just ended without really any closure, there were many faults. That being said, it was rather humorous in places and it gave Wade a bit more of a personality. I'd give it a 6.5 out of 10. Fun, but flawed. I'd grab a hard copy just to add to the Sonic blu rays on the shelf
Always enjoyed the Suika Game, but after a while, it kind of becomes a bit stale. The local multiplayer definitely helped fix that somewhat, but I can see some serious hours being put in with the online multiplayer update. Looking forward to this
A pretty chilled out weekend for me this week as I'll be playing Tetris 99 for the new Maximus Cup and it's unlockable theme (haven't missed one yet 😄👌), Endless Ocean for it's first event and also Little Kitty Big City!
Looks like a nice mix of Stray and Untitled Goose Game. Considering we still don't have Stray on Switch, this looks like a great substitute. Definitely gonna consider this one
I loved the original on 3DS, but always thought it was more suited to a bigger screen rather than one like 3DS. I know Switch is portable, but at least I can finally play it on a big screen 🤗
Seriously, for anyone actually wanting to play it, there is an incredible fan translation out there which had years of hard work out into it. I actually scored a GBA cartridge of it on ebay for around 10-15 pounds. Don't get me wrong, I would love nothing more than an official release, but if you REALLY want to play it, there are options
Really enjoyed reading this. I'm sorry that you had to deal with the negative side of things, especially being attacked. Nobody should have to deal with that. I've been in retail myself since the age of 16. I'm now 35 and whilst I definitely share my frustrations with working in it, it genuinely makes me sad and breaks my heart to see what is happening to all the retailers out there. Downsizing, closing down, etc, it's just really sad. Going into a shop offers something that online shopping just doesn't quite offer and that is human interaction. The many times I've been into shops, in particular game shops, and have had conversations with complete strangers about things that my own friends aren't interested in has been such a fantastic experience or being complemented on wearing a gaming shirt that an employee might also happen to like always perks you up for the day. I pray that retailers find a way to survive and keep on going. The positives in your story that you shared with us are why we need these shops to keep going and we should support them.
Season 1 was much better than I thought it was going to be and season 2 was genuinely great. With how it ended, I'm really excited to see how everything caps off. Excited for this 😄👌
@CharlieFen I bought the Scott Pilgrim KO edition from them and waited nearly 2 years for it to arrive. I believe my Classic Editions of the Konami collections have each taken best part of a year. I've had the Contra and Castlevania ones, but still waiting on the Arcade and Castlevania Advance ones. Night Trap on the GBA as well has been a 9, nearly 10 month wait now. I think if you're just wanting a standard, regular copy, you're fine, but anything fancy, you're gonna be facing a long wait. I'm not saying I support this business model, because it isn't the best, but people need to consider production and manufacturing times and that isn't going to happen overnight.
Considering I collect games and consoles, I have no plan to let go of my Switch or Switch OLED. There will always be a time that I'll want to get it out and play on it, much like I do with the rest of my systems
A line of the 8bit ones would be nice. The Mario and Link ones were great, but I'd love to see more. Kirby, Donkey Kong, Excite Bike, Pit (Kid Icarus), Ice Climbers, Takamaru (Mysterious Marasame Castle), amongst others. I'd buy those in a heartbeat. It just feels Nintendo have always played it safe with the characters they choose for the amiibo line, when there are so many possibilities
I thought Afghani nailed Mario and Luigi wonderfully. Different enough to stand out, yet also similar enough to keep people happy.
Wario on the other hand.......I'm not so sure. I've been playing WarioWare Move It and I don't know, there's just something about it that bothers me. Hopefully it'll grow on me, but right now, I'm not sold on the Wario voice
Of course someone has to vote for '1 - Abysmal'. I mean, really? Do you really think it's that bad? Even if Mario isn't your thing, there's no denying its a well polished and well made game! 🤷♂️
I went for the Switch version. I won't lie, after seeing reviews on the PS5 version and no one talking about it on the Switch, I was left a bit worried whether or not I picked the wrong version. Seeing this comparison video makes me feel much better.
@Rykdrew Whilst this looks far from what you call a $19 indie game, Some $19 indie games have given me some of my best gaming experiences if I'm being honest.
I got so excited when this was announced on the Nintendo Direct, I preordered almost instantly. After playing the Dreamcast and Wii games, I knew I was going to like it. It was 26 pounds on Amazon to preorder and I had a 5 pound voucher. For a little over 20 quid, I was more than happy to take the gamble. After playing the demo, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the full version. The Amazon driver is currently on his rounds, so I should have it really soon! 🙌
It's great to see Pikmin 4 still hanging in the top 10. It's always been a niche series for Nintendo, especially here in the UK, so to see it do as well as it has has been amazing. Let's hope Nintendo dont wait 10 years before releasing the next one 😉
I have the game preordered, so may as well check the demo out to see if it's gonna be worth my money. I enjoyed the other two games though, so I imagine I'll like this too.

If only Mario Kart World had that much effort put into it and that's coming from someone who really liked Mario Kart World

18 out of 21. The worst part is, incr id revealed the answers, I instantly recognised them. I feel ashamed 😆
Re: My Nintendo Store Reveals Kirby Air Riders Pre-Order Bonus & Plushie Bundles (UK)
I went for the Warp Star Kirby plush. Seems fitting for the theme of the game I guess
Re: My Nintendo Store Restocks Exclusive Kirby Reward (North America)
Meanwhile, no physical reward has been added to the European My Nintendo since March of this year.
Ah well, at least we can spend those lovely coins on Switch icons right!? 🤷♂️
Re: Suda51 Is Eager To Get His Latest 'Ultra-Violent' Game On Switch 2
The more Suda games on Nintendo platforms, the better! I say bring it on!
Also, Hotel Barcelona would most definitely be welcome too! 🙌

Haven't they said Panzer Dragoon Zwei and House of the Dead 2 are two that they are wanting to remake? My guess is that it'll be one of those.
