Re: Sega Confirms Sonic Forces Is 720p, 30fps On Nintendo Switch

Im gonna remain optimistic. The game has yet to throw in a ridiculous gimmick that tends to appear in most 3D Sonic games. That and i feel the ending from Sonic Mania you get from obtaining all the chaos emeralds will somehow have something to do with 2D Sonic appearing in that universe. I'm not holding my breath, but if the reviews are somewhat decent when it comes out, i may be more tempted to get it. Also, it's done by the same team that made Generations, which in my mind is the only good 3D Sonic game we've had since Adventure 2.

@retro_player_22 Capcom did notice. To the point that they got away with charging 34.99 for Street Fighter 2. I know what you mean though. So many old school Capcom franchises would feel right at home on Switch including the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 and the Disney Afternoon Collection. How they got past the Switch really is beyond me

I do want it. It'll be nice to have those retro gems on the go, however can't help but feel 30 pounds is quite steep when there are other Namco collections on other consoles significantly cheaper. It should have been around the 20 pound mark. I may get it if i feel rich on pay day and if not, i'll wait for a sale or something

Hopefully it doesn't fade out anytime soon. Nintendo seem to have had great success with the switch and it's 2 first party gamed released so far. I think it's finally started to realise that marketing properly is key to success and it has clearly shown. I'm just hoping they don't get lazy with it. Whilst it's been a success so far, there is still much work to be done and we don't want another Wii U on our hands (not slating the system, more it's marketing). Hopefully they will keep up the good work and keep the sales up. With a new IP releasing next month and E3 coming up, this is the stage that they can't afford to screw up, but so far, congrats Nintendo, you're doing great

Re: Paper Mario: Color Splash Sales Flatten Out Amid a Wave of New Releases

@Toadsfriend Agreed. I bought it purely for playing with my girlfriend and her daughter as they're the only kind of games I can get them to play. Whilst I enjoyed the MP games from the N64 days, the series has always felt pretty flat. Star Rush really changed my mind about the series. The mini games are really fun. My only criticism is that it's not online and that is something fans have wanted for a while. Other than that, really good. I've not seen much marketing for this if I'm quite honest. Maybe that's affected sales??
