@Solid_Python The PS4 most likely can run Star Wars Outlaw and Resident Evil Requiem, companies are just starting to drop support for the console, just like Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D being released even on the Switch 1 but not on PS4. And unlike Switch 2 versions, most PS4 ports are rushed jobs, because no way a PS4 can't run Sonic X Shadows Generations at 60fps.
Zelda got voice acting, Dragon Quest, aka the most conservative franchise ever, got voice acting - even Octopath Travelers, where the characters are sprites, has voice acting.
Voice acting has been standard in JRPGs for more than a decade. There are no excuses for one of the biggest franchises in gaming not having it.
"Branded and titled FIFA competitions will officially begin in FM26, with not only the World Cup, but also the Women's World Cup and the Club World Cup."
Lmao, I didn't know Women's World Cup was the same year as the normal one. That sounds like asking for it to be overshadowed.
"But Stray Children seems to be very much in the same vein as Moon, an oddball RPG which subverts genre tropes"
I don't think Moon can even be considered a RPG 😅, but it's nice to see things coming full circle and now Toby Fox is inspiring the people that inspired him. This one looks like an actual RPG.
8 years later and Gamefreak was never able to adapt to HD graphics. Maybe by the end of the Switch 2 life cycle they will finally catch up with PS3 technology.
Nah, it’s always the same thing. At first, companies are eager to support the console and praise its power, but 2–3 years later they start saying it’s not powerful enough, and most third-party games begin skipping it. It happened to the Switch 1 and even to the Wii u to certain degree, and it's probably going to happen to the Switch 2 considering the the next Next Gen is coming out in 2 years.
@the_beaver Hollow Knight was released 8 years ago, everything has been adjusted to inflation. AAA games went from being $60 to $70/$80 in that time and now top indie releases like Deltarune and Hades 2 are $25/$30.
November is probably going to be a very packed month, so I hope this doesn't bite them in the ass in the future. Honestly, I don't know why they just didn't delay it to later that month because Silksong aside, september is a somewhat calm month.
Now I probably won't give this game a chance because it will competing against Mina the Hollower, Rue Valley and Morsels. And some of the games that I follow are still set to come out this year but doesn't have a release date yet, so it's pretty likely that some of them will choose november too.
It's always the same, previous gen games run great on nintendo's latest console, and then 1-2 years later everyone call it underpowered. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth will most likely run like ass.
@Suketoudara Nah, people also hated the combat itself, the graphics and the lack of progression for the story, and that's something that can't be fixed.

Re: Review: Persona 3 Reload (Switch 2) - A Great Remake, But Still Not Definitive
@SigmaNoire It runs at 30fps on PS4, so there is no reason to expect Next Gen performance on a Switch 2.
Re: Review: Persona 3 Reload (Switch 2) - A Great Remake, But Still Not Definitive
"30fps gameplay is fine, but 60 would be welcome"
Broz it's a Switch, don't have high expectations.

@Munchlax Bro, they are actually trying to turn Pokemon into a yearly franchise? I lost any hope for getting actual quality in the future.
Re: Pokémon Z-A's Source Code And Beta Builds Have Now Supposedly Leaked
Nice, I can't wait to see how unoptimized and poorly programmed the game is.
