I can't believe no one has ported Banjo kazooie to PC yet, it was decompiled last year.

@MatoFilipovic Okami was originally a commercial failure that made the original Clover Studio shut down. Then years later, the game gets a remaster and it now sold +2 millions copies and became profitable enough for a sequel.

I think the same could happen to Viewtiful Joe if they gave those games a second chance.

Bruh, really? Are you going to use this to justify Nintendo raising the price of games? Especially when for the time being the $80 price is decided on a case-by-base basis. Nintendo even decided all its prices before the tariffs.

People is making a fuss for something that's not a big deal, just set the encounter rate to 50% for the entire game; that should keep you away from getting tired of the combat.

Having the option certainly wouldn't be bad, but it's not something that people was going to be using unless they were planing to cheese the game.

@Anti-Matter Well, Cyberpunk 2077 + the DLC is around 102 GB on PC, so 56.8 GB is certainly smaller.

Now those 256GB of internal storage looks pretty misserable.

Honestly, the game looks pretty, but it's just not the same as when they showed the first one and everyone was impressed about the Wii U running something with those graphics.

This was the problem with those game-key cards, they will encourage companies to not even try to use cartridges.

I never understood why this studio only release their games on switch, it's not like Nintendo was paying them to do so.

I don't think mouse support is a big deal for these kinda of games. I think the sticks are good enough and you can play in a more comfortable position.

Steam deck fans don't care about the switch 2, they are busy complaining about unoptimized games.

It's very funny that The Switch 2 hasn't been released and we are already in the stage of the console where we have news about games not being announced for it XD

@Ogbert I'll assume it's because they are trying to show that Nintendo didn't consider those mechanics original enough to be patentented or that they tried and failed because they weren't considered original enough. Also, I think Nintendo added those patents to a previous patent after the release of Palworld, so I guess they could argue Nintendo only pantented it for Pokemon just to use it for suing Palworld.

It was sad that his kickstarter campaing failed. Let's hope he manage to come back to industry some day.

The open world and having to drive to the next track look so unnecesary so far. It looks like this may become the lowest rated Mario kart game once it's out.(thou still good enough)

This probably won't be a free update, probably not even an update for the original. The downgrade for the switch version was so huge that they should port it again to replace the textures and models.

110 dollars for 2 games + all DLCs + extras goodies vs $90 for only Zelda BOTW and it's DLCs.

It's sad how a lot of Nintendo fans find the standard practice of a game being re-released with all the DLCs so alien. Cyberpunk and Elden Ring are coming to the Switch 2 with all the DLCs without costing $100, even all the wiiu ports that Nintendo released came with the DLCs.

Nintendo just got greedy after the success of the Switch. Nintendolife keep these articles coming, don't let those bootlickers make this page their "safe space"

@Truegamer79 Because unlike with Xbox and Playstation games, Nintendo games doesn't have deep discounts on digital stores nor gets bundles with DLCs later on. As a matter of fact, they are re-releasing Zelda BOTW at a higher price and without DLCs.

The QoL improvements of the remaster basically made the OG game obsolete.

The switch got the worse version of Kiwami 1 while the Switch 2 will get the best version of Yakuza 0.

Anyways, I don't think the additions to the Switch 2 version are a big deal, especially when the normal version is so cheap.

I'm worried about the lack of mention of local coop. It looks like it'll be an online only game.

I'm more worried about the games prices, $80 for games is such an evil move.
