It was kinda obvious that Silkong wasn't going to be in the direct, considering they have a gamepass day-1 deal.

Mnmnmn...I don't know how to feel about an indie game having day-1 dlcs...

Pretty boring direct for me, I wanted games with more action and maybe violence.

@link3710 WTF? I think you got some of those numbers wrong, FF 7 remake has sold 7 millions while Monster hunter world has sold the monstrous amount of 25 millions of copies.

Rainworld is a great experience, but I wouldn't call it a metroidvania, it's more a 2D survival sandbox.

ASTILBRA revision was in my wishlist, thou I thought it was a 2D jrpg or something.

I can't believe Nintendo was able to paid for the temporal exclusivity of the game but didn't pay for the exclusivity of SMT V.

Some people may be mad at them, but it's pretty understandable that they haven't released a new Banjo game, they just don't have an appropiate studio to make a new entry.

Modern Rare isn't suitable for the task, Double Fine said they aren't interested in the ip, and Playtonic hasn't proved they are able to make a good 3D platformer. Toy for Bobs is the last hope for the ip, but I don't know if they would be interested, after all, they are the Crash/Spyro studio right now.

It would be a great opportunity to port the games to every modern platform.

So...did people completely forget about Armored core? I've barely seen anyone talking about that game not being nominated XD

Let's hope Baldur's gate 3 win the goty in the game awards, I think the studio deserves it more. It's like when Messi won best player over Mbappe, Messi deserved it more for stopping being a "pecho frio" and finally winning the World Cup.

@WhiteUmbrella I've sunk thousands of hours in Free to play games without spending money on them, in some of them you can even pay the battle pass once and then pay the next one with the rewards of the season.

Free to play games are healthier experiences than a lot of full-priced games.

Damn, that's an awful debut for Sonic Superstars. It truly was a awful idea to release the game so close to Mario. The difference is pornographic!

Also, Sonic Colors is not really that 3D.

Well, someone got tired of waiting for a port of Xenoblade chronicles X.

Honestly, none of those covers is particularly great.

I think even Sonic fans are going to eventually hate this one, this sounds like a less polished Sonic colors, which a big chunk of the community started to hate eventually.

Anyways, the writing was on the wall when the studio making this game was revealed.

@Axecon The AAA model of bigger and more expensive games is what is causing stagnation of creativity, not companies buying other companies. Also, Microsoft netflix-like model can actually bring a little bit more creativity to the industry.

@Woderwick 10 years is more than enough for the other companies to prepare a response to the things that Microsoft own, their competition also accepted Microsoft offer because they are also being benefited in the long run.

Also, Microsoft never said the Bethesda games would remain multiplatform, they always used the word "case-by-case".
