Re: Nintendo Indie World Showcase March 2026: Every Announcement, Game Reveal, Trailer

Pretty disappointing direct, ports are nice but I was really looking forward to announcements of new games.

Also, a lot of the most interesting stuff was only in the Japanese direct, which I don't understand why, because most of the games announced there are coming to the west too.(As a matter of fact, OPUS: Prism Peak announced its international release date in the japanese direct, no reason for that game to skip the western direct)

Re: Dispatch Dev AdHoc Responds To Nintendo's Statement, Says It Intends To Address Censored Switch Content

@Discostew "It's like they are leaving something out. They don't have to quote the guidelines (which could be under NDA, I dunno), but nothing says they can't talk about their own game."

Nintendo pretty much said that they just tell devs to ***** off and don't disclose why a game is rejected: "We also do not discuss specific content or the criteria used in making these determinations."

Re: Nintendo Responds To Dispatch Switch Censorship With Official Statement

I don't get why people interpret this as Nintendo and AdHoc blaming each other. Nintendo is pretty much admitting that they told the studio to censor the game.

They are just choosing to highlight that they didn't tel them what parts of the game to censor, in order to reduce the backslash. It's corporative talk at it's finest.

@Lizuka "including overly long, dull videos where he just rambles on and on barely actually saying anything about the game, not to mention his, "Here's why I'm so great," Youtube series. Guy strikes me as someone who thoroughly enjoys the sound of his own voice and wants himself to be a brand."

Or he just like to talk about videogames and game development...

"Seriously? Out of all things you want to complain about this game it’s “NPC doesn’t move around” as if that hasn’t been a thing for several Pokemon games in the series. It’s up there with “why no voice?” of complaints."

WTF? Voice acting is an extremely common feature in modern JRPGs. I guess it isn't enough for you that the franchise is stuck with n64 texture, lol.
