@mikegamer This game doesn't run at 60 fps on PS4, it's 30-35 fps on average.

Why are you guys so shocked about the game running at 30fps? That's is pretty much the norm for Switch 2 games and this is the same performance as the PS4 version.

@Friendly basically one game per year, which kinda is "done it to death". But the biggest problem is that they looks practically identical.

Ps: FF tactics: the ivalice chronicles is not HD-2D, and honestly I wouldn't mind more remasters like that one instead of HD-2D remakes.

@DiamondJim HD-2D would be much better if they toned down those damn post-processing effects.

Nintendo pretty much said that they just tell devs to ***** off and don't disclose why a game is rejected: "We also do not discuss specific content or the criteria used in making these determinations."

@conditionals Both the devs and Nintendo itself have stated that the game didn't meet Nintendo's guidelines, so it's pretty clear that this 100% Nintendo's fault.

The devs very likely just used the japanese version for the international release because that one was already censored so there was no need to make a different censored version.

I don't get why people interpret this as Nintendo and AdHoc blaming each other. Nintendo is pretty much admitting that they told the studio to censor the game.

They are just choosing to highlight that they didn't tel them what parts of the game to censor, in order to reduce the backslash. It's corporative talk at it's finest.

FF 3 being number 1 is certainly a take...

I hope it's not as mediocre as the first movie. But the fact that I barely know anything about the direction of the plot after two trailers tells me that it'll another barebone, rushed plot with a lot of references. I think I'll wait for the movie to come to streaming services this time around.

@Solid_Python The PS4 most likely can run Star Wars Outlaw and Resident Evil Requiem, companies are just starting to drop support for the console, just like Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D being released even on the Switch 1 but not on PS4. And unlike Switch 2 versions, most PS4 ports are rushed jobs, because no way a PS4 can't run Sonic X Shadows Generations at 60fps.

Zelda got voice acting, Dragon Quest, aka the most conservative franchise ever, got voice acting - even Octopath Travelers, where the characters are sprites, has voice acting.

Voice acting has been standard in JRPGs for more than a decade. There are no excuses for one of the biggest franchises in gaming not having it.
