It's great that this game was made with Unreal Engine, it helps to prove that Unreal Engine games doesn't end up looking and feeling samey.

It's kinda obvious that the next mainline pokemon game will be on the Switch 2.

Friendly reminder that Overwatch changed the lootboxes for a season pass, and it was so awful that people missed lootboxes. A Season pass means that they most likely will put the best skins in the in-game shop for 15-20 bucks.

I think you include PC by mistake, PC has way more games than the switch according that table.

Switch- 39 games VS PS4 - 33 games

This is kinda an unfair comparison, PS4 is still getting games, but critics are only reviewing the PS5 versions now. So it probably has more games that are worthy of the +90.(Thou I said kinda unfair because the ps4 has been out for 11 years)

PS5 - 25 games

This is kinda impressive actually, they have that amount of prestigious games in only 4 years, while the switch has been out for almost 8 years. The PS5 could end up beating the switch by the end of its lifecycle.

@johnedwin Traditional Zelda games have never been massive hits in japan.These are some pretty solid numbers.

I think those are some pretty mid box-arts overall. I guess the north american one is the most decent one, but the european one represent the setting of the game better.

@Serpenterror Nintendo apologists are pretty lame and misinformed, Craftopia cannot be considered as a rip-off of zelda botw because that game has every videogame mechanic and concept in existence to the point that it barely play like Zelda. It's more like a sh@tposting game.

A similar case applies to Never Grave, as a matter of fact, that one looks even more original than Crowsworn which had the blessing from the hollow knight team.

Honestly I don't see the point of owning the IP considering that the remaster seem to have performed even worse than the original. I don't see them trying to fund a sequel by themselves unless it's a very small project.

They should have ported Yakuza 0 first, Yakuza kiwami 1 is basically a Yakuza 0 DLC.

I just love that no matter if Nintendo ends up being legally right, it's still morally correct to hate them because patenting mechanics is scummy af.

It's also hard to keep track of which very specific mechanics are patented, specially for an indie company.

Yeah, they really made a bad call when they chose Private Division as the publisher, the publisher tax made the game too pricey.

I personally won't buy the game until it's 60% of, but because the publisher is trash and didn't add regional price for my country.

Honestly, this makes wonder what will be the place the AI in this world, certainly it's endangering jobs, but it's also undoubtedly progress, so and I'm not sure if it's right to stop progress.

I haven't played the game but...Was the ending as controversial as the creator said it was going to be? I haven't seen anyone talking about it.

It's a shame that Sparks of Hope seemingly underperformed, I hope we see another colaboration between Nintendo and Ubisoft in the future.

I don't like the artstyle, it looks low-budget for some reason, I think it's because of the lighting. It looks pretty 3DS-like.

@RupeeClock I hope they are able to port the game, Paper Mario was decompiled last year but there is no projects using that decompilation yet.

It looks like we will finally have the definitive version of this game. I hope they add a mod that make Musical Notes not reset when you leave a level.

It kinda sucks that they aren't releasing the games in the best order, Yakuza 0 should have been released Yakuza 0 first. It looks more like they are getting ready to capitalize on the possible success of the tv show.

@Darthmoogle This is not a remake, the production was downgraded to remaster a while ago.

@Lightsiyd I mean, you don't really need to grind for those things to beat the bosses. I did grind them in my playthrough and ended up being overleveled in the hard difficulty.

I don't thing you will like any of the party members era ys games(Ys seven, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, Ys IX: Monstrum Nox), these games are way more lengthy and they introduced materials.Ys Monstrum Nox is basically Lacrimosa of Dana 2: Electric Boogaloo.

You should try the Napishtim engine era games instead, they have a more frantic pacing and you only play as the MC. From that era, Ys Origin is currently available on Switch and Ys The Oath in Felghana is getting a switch port early next year.

@Lightsiyd Regular encounters are always like that in Ys games, bosses and exploration are usually the focus of those games.

Anyways, you don't need to grind in Ys games, so you don't need to kill every one of them.

@silver-crescent Fall guys being surpassed by Stumble guys isn't really that unfair. I think the ip was missmanaged, they never ported the game to mobiles and they didn't add local multiplayer. Plus, Epic games also laid off a big chunk of the studio.

Honestly, I think the indie gaming landscape has just changed. People is no longer that interested in early indie games, the indie platformers market is oversaturated and the competition is really tough.

I think games such as Limbo and Cave Story would never perform as well as they did if they were released this year. And most of the early indie studios weren't able to reach mainstream success in the current market.

Those games definitely overstayed their welcome, so it's cool that they are letting the franchise rest instead of releasing another crash game. Thou who knows, maybe the license was just too expensive.
