I've never played any of these games. I need to play a demo first I think.
I loved L.A. Noire. But I've also not really ever been into classic point-and-click style games. I think I would like a mystery/detective game but I'm not sure if the style is right for me.
Nintendo always keeps their systems lower in comparison to the competition. If it's portable like the Switch, I think it will be in the $300-$400 range. Nintendo will know that families will want to own multiple systems if it's portable, and most families won't shell out $500+ pure system 2-4 times.
My guess is November 2025 release. Get the crazy going just in time for the 2025 Holiday Season! The majority of Nintendo systems, at least in NA, have been released in the month of November. It'll be then or March 2026. March is another popular month for Nintendo to release systems.
Maybe it's silly to have a World Record for something like this but I'll be the first to post that I'm extremely jealous of his setup. I wish I had a space dedicated to gaming, and the funds to make this happen. Sure you can't play more than one game at a time, but it's really cool. He's got a great collection and he has the right to be proud of his collection. Good for him!
I tried twice to get into the Borderland Series. Both times I was disappointed and moved on with buyers remorse.
I won't be going to a theatre to see this one, but I'm not opposed to watching it once it makes its way to streaming. I find that sometimes people are little too harsh on this type of movie.
@ScalenePowers Better late than never! Thanks for the update. This is how I was with the Monster Hunter Series. Played that originally and thought it was not for me. Others said, try it again and provided a few tips. I tried it again and I've been a fan ever since. Perhaps later this fall when my time frees up, maybe I'll revisit The Thousand Year Door. Thanks again!
I have really special memories of my two sons and I playing the games and collecting through street pass. I wish something like this would come back but I highly doubt it.
I was gifted a eshop card for Father's Day, I finally pulled the trigger on Dave the Diver. I was going to get one of the many solid games that were on sale but after trying the demo of Dave the Diver, I couldn't stop thinking about it so I bought it at full price.
I'm also still playing sessions of Vampire Survivor.
I'm surprised by the Devil May Cry Love. I honestly didn't know the series and Dante were that well liked. Personally, I never really cared for the series but that dates back to 1 and 2. Never tried them again after those games.
I loved playing that game so much as a kid. Obviously the license doesn't belong to Capcom, but I would love to play that again; either a new game or a HD Remake.
I think it depends on the game and/or treatment. For a game that has very little done to improve the graphics or gameplay from the original, the games should be around $20-$30. For games that have a substantial amount of work done to them, I'm okay with the $40-$50 price range. But no matter what's been done, I feel the $60 range is too much.
@Angelic_Lapras_King I agree 100%. Back in the day when there were multiple baseball, football, futbol, basketball, and hockey games is when the competition created the most progress.
It's a pass for me. I purchased this game when it originally came out and just couldn't get into it. I wanted to like it, but I couldn't force myself to keep playing.
I must be the only person that didn't really care for the original. I want to like this but I couldn't get into it. Maybe a second try? But if I don't care for it again......
I'll admit that he would be a great fit for the character but what a random question to ask him. There's no clue or data that even backs up Wario being in the next Mario movie. So to ask Danny in an interview if he would consider the role is weird in my opinion.
I would stick with Switch somehow. I think the system carries a lot of momentum that should be taken advantage of. Maybe keep it simple and go with Nintendo Switch 2.
So it's less games/challenges with the added feature of online and local competitions for about the same price. I think it's fair but could have been more. That's my stance on the matter.
I really enjoyed both remix games. We had them both and played them a lot. I'm just not sure the added features warrant a revisit.
I think the announcement will be post '24 Holiday season. My speculation is that Nintendo will push the Switch one last time with the help of a game or two, then the next system will be released the following early fall '25 (September 2025ish).
If I were Nintendo, I would discount the Switch this Christmas and/or push bundles. They won't.
Personally, I'm ready to completely move on from the current joycon design. It was a great idea that was ahead of it's time but not fully thought out. The flexibility and options were incredible but the problems.....just too many issues. Let's move forward. At the same time, is it hard for Nintendo to allow for those who want to continue to use them? Unless the new controller is waaaaay different, I would think this would be easy to do.
Fallout 3 is my favorite game. It's one of only a few games that I played through entirely multiple times.
It's also one of the few games that I purchased a deluxe edition. By total luck, I stumbled on the game when shopping at a Circuit City that was going out of business. I'm looking at my Vault Boy Bobble Head right now! The lunch box has been used for my MTG decks since the day I got it. I would double dip on this game and it would be a day one purchase as long as it wasn't bug-ridden like some other games that have been re-released on the Switch.
Anyone know if the Ebenezer game was fixed? I know the review called out bugs. It looks really cool. If the bugs were fixed and the gameplay issues have been addressed, I would be interested.
@sfb I too had the 3DO with Star Control II......until my sister borrowed it to take to college. I never saw the system or any of the games again.
I was the only person I knew who had the system and when friends came over, they had no clue what it was. I had a good library of what I would call fun games. Samurai Shodown, Gex, Alone in the Dark, Space Hulk, FIFA, Dragon's Lair, The Horde, Crash N Burn, Guardian War, The Incredible Machine!
For me it's really not a bad value, but I'm paying $79.99 a year for the family package and my family members and myself, aren't really using the features enough to warrant the yearly cost.
I thought they felt aged when they originally came out to be honest. When I saw this was coming, I had no desire to revisit the two games even though I owned both and spent many hours playing them.
I was actually thinking about buying this year's game. It's been years since I've bought a sports game in general. I usually buy one then I take a break from the series for years. I have the itch to buy Madden and MLB. I guess I'll at least wait until the bugs have been worked out.
I highly doubt this is planned sabotaging. This is merely a game that has been rushed out the door and onto the Switch. They clearly prioritized their own platform; but I doubt they were like, "hey lets sell a broken game on the Switch".

Dang! More DLC!!!!! This value game just keeps giving and giving.

I find this weird to be honest. It's not a bad thing though.

Re: Lollipop Chainsaw's Remake Scores A Sweet Release On Switch This September
To be fair, I've never played this, but I've also never liked one game by Suda51. Personally I think Suda51 games are overrated.
Re: F-Zero Inspired Racer 'Aero GPX' Launches In Early Access Today
@NeonPizza I agree 100%. I watched that trailer and thought of the word "bland". If anything, this is a vanilla knock-off of F-Zero

Re: Talking Point: Will The Switch Ever Get A 'Nintendo Selects' Range?
If it was going to happen, I would think it would have been a couple years ago with the titles that transitioned from the Wii U to the Switch.
I think their profits are good and people continue to buy so they're probably thinking, "Why would we discount games?"
Re: Nintendo Reveals Disturbing 'Emio' Teaser, And Fans Are Baffled
My next question is how long does Nintendo let this stew before we get more info?
Re: Random: Finished With Your Old GameCube? Why Not Turn It Into A Cereal Bowl?
@dew12333 @DripDropCop146 Make it 3! Completely pointless; and not one bit funny or interesting.
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's NES Library With Seven More Games
Dang it, it looks like Japan got a Go/Igo game!
Cobra Triangle was awesome playing it as a kid. I wonder if it holds up today?
Re: Poll: What's Your Switch Game Of The Year Of 2024 So Far?

@KeeperBvK No problem! See you in six months.
Re: Review: DreamWorks All-Star Kart Racing (Switch) - Ain't The Sharpest Tool In The Shed
@KeeperBvK You described the racing as "fine". I'm not sure that's enough for me to track down a used Wii game and hook my Wii back up.
But thank you for correcting my post by pointing out that Gears is not a FPS 6 months later!

Love the subject of The Hobbit/Lord of the Rings; but this looks so boring IMO.
I will most likely not even think about purchasing this game.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder DLC is my only guess.

I had a blast playing the COD games on the 360. I welcome this to any and all systems.
Re: Poll: A New Donkey Kong Game Must Be Coming, But What Should It Be?
I voted for a proper DK Country game; but I wouldn't mind seeing DK in a Mario 3D game. That could be really cool.
