The dream would be a Nintendo store in each major city, how cool would that be. Or even in malls. Thinking like how Lego does it.

I’d love to see it. Would lend super well to an animated film, or hell would be cool to work with Jim Henson again and do puppets!

So basically every other handheld on the now over saturated pc handheld market.

I love proximity chat, it’s led to some really funny moments in my experiences. Imagine zooming by some random dude screaming after hit by a blue shell at the finish line.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes gave me a lot more hope this could turn out solid. I’m cautiously optimistic.

Legit two of the best GB titles. DK94 might be my favorite next to Mario Land 2.

@Tasuki It’s honestly as faithful as you can get, maybe to some even a little too faithful. I loved it though, there are some nice QOL changes

I’m not an RPG guy, but I love the how this game looks visually and have heard very good things. Still debating if I should pick it up and try it sometime.

@LadyCharlie Exactly my thoughts, let Pokémon actually let their mainlines cook. I haven’t bought a Pokemon mainline in years because of how rough they look.

Trust me, Capcom is gonna find a way to get this thing running on the Switch 2.

One of the best Mario soundtracks imo. Definitely the best out of the 3 on NES.

@TheBigK I’m in the same boat. The only thing I’ve played on it were the Spiderman titles (now on PC) and Astro Bot.

I understand sentimental value but if the 2 is backwards compatible digitally and physically and improves on the Switch on every front, why hold onto it. Thats my thoughts at least.

Overall I’ve been having fun but I agree with these first impressions. It’s WAY too chaotic and is definitely over stimulating. The visuals are nice but I feel like the design team went way overboard to the point where it’s distracting, and that’s not good in a racer. Someone said this like it was a positive, but the fact that you can drop from first to last in the snap of your fingers is not a good thing. Yeah Mario Kart that happens but unless it’s right at the finish line, you aren’t out of the race at all.

@sportvater Ok bit of an extreme there. They aren’t cheap but calling them one of the worst companies out there is ridiculous.

For all you non Lego fans, no this isn’t more affordable. I have a huge collection and still buy sets to this day, but this is over priced going by the “price per piece” standard their USED to be.

I hope this one is actually good, I loved Transformed and that held me over very well until MK8 came out back in the day. I actually revisited it recently and it’s still a blast.

Please for the love of god go back to the original Mansion. Expand on it, give it a new floor plan or something, I just want that atmosphere from the original back in full gorgeous HD or even 4K.

Mobapad is still my pick for the best joycons easily. Never have had issue with them and they don’t look stupidly “gamer” like these.

MLB The Show is actually a great time, one of the actually entertaining high quality sport games imo. I’ll def be getting this, but when the Switch 2 is out and there’s a hopefully an update for it.

This would be awesome as a Halo fan, I love the Master Chief Collection, so many great campaigns and fun multiplayer. I wouldn’t mind Infinite coming to the Switch 2 too.

This might be a long shot tho, but Indiana Jones would be amazing.

@CaleBoi25 The wing arm piece can’t hold anything, and with accessories being a major part of this line, that’s why they didn’t go with it.

My prediction is that it’s gonna be a relatively life size replica judging by the teaser and the parts shown, it will come with 2 or 3 different cartridges (Tetris maybe, Mario Land definetly, but no Pokemon because they are partnered with MEGA), interchangeable plates that display the game, and it will also come with a stand for 80 bucks.

@Clyde_Radcliffe It’s blue and orange this time. Joycons are black with the buttons and rails being those colors on each side.

Love that they are larger, would’ve loved a little booty on it tho for ergonomics.

Just don’t understand the love for these movies. All of them are unbearably childish. I get they are kids movies but there are way better kid films.

@ParadoxFawkes This is the most ass-backwards thinking. The last Wario Land we got was 15 years ago, and there are countless first party series out there from other companies that are the same genre or take inspiration from other companies titles. Literally look at Astro Bot, which won GOTY, and even got mentioned by its devs the heavy inspiration from Nintendo and gave them praise for it. As long as it introduces new ideas and is a good quality title why be so bitter.
