@Serpenterror I recently played the original, you don't really explore and it sort of like a easy Megaman zero like and similar to their retro style bloodstained games. It was alright. I was aware of a sequel being made and was more interested in it before seeing this trailer cause the characters look they'd play the same. Edit: 1st trailer might have been better.

Chained echoes was great, played ff12 right after though and was kind of funny seeing the beats of the plot

Idk how to feel about this to be honest. Don't want it to be the exciting news about nso... Guess it kills my hopes that they won't paywall online play on the next system too. Decouple these services! Think it compromises the experience for some.

As for the music itself, yea, it's good to acknowledge their worth(edit: apparently without credit to the composer?) but now they're in this walled garden where it'll only be easy to listen to Nintendo video game music back to back instead of mixed with other songs, and they might be more aggressive about it going forward.

I can see it as just wanting to pump out a bunch of designs but also needing to actually get rid of them

That is dope!!! Man and I've been cautious, hard to imagine though, octopath 2 was just packed with special things to get, moves and items with interesting effects. I really wonder what fingerprint they'd have on it. I loved the octopath traveller 2 art style, kind of disappointed me on dq3hd2d remake.

Don't like the look of the player character, kind of distracted me, but the rest is great.

Feel like inti creates is pumping out too many stylish but just slightly short of satisfying games

@PC2 1st game is 2d and 3rd game has all the stages of the 2nd I hear

It looks nice but it's not hd-2d like octopath traveller II was. The environments looks great and the characters I guess good but together they're kind of clashing to me.

@Lony85 monster crown was really buggy wasn't it? The sheer volume of monsters was crazy though.

Coromon has been my favorite of the monster tamers I've tried. Already liked the original story but this sounds cool. I wonder if I should play it modded or not though, like with a random starter.

Somewhat off topic but I recently played protodroid delta and turned out it's a 3d MegaMan x. Hard at first but fun when you get the weapons and mobility upgrades.

looks cool but horror gameplay seems like it might just annoy me, or whatever just doing puzzles while having to survive.
