i got a 3ds day 1, made me hold off on the wii u and ended up skipping it. the ambassador thing didn't come up again after the 20 games... come to think of it, they do anything else with the 3ds's ability to play gba games? they just sat on it? would the 3ds virtual console have been better if the launch wasn't awful?

hmm well the switch succeeded partially cause of the wiiU's failure and having BOTW at launch and a strong 1st year line up. i do wonder how packing 1-2 switch would have done for it since a lot of joycon features are pretty unused and how things might be different if more players and devs actually had a chance to experience them. i also think some games are a harder sell on their own... or are useless on their own, they should include ports of triforce heroes and federation force with nso!

if they get ported then all of the main 3d zelda games will be playable on the platform, for mario only galaxy 2 is missing right? i think that's kind of amazing... even though it's been achievable through other methods

i see subscriptions as ways to get people to pay for stuff they don't want, it's renting a bundle. i'm mostly bitter about paying for online though, well i don't, but i think my attitude would be different if it was an actual retro game service and not weirdly tied together with bleeding their user base. i really think nso is an unnecessary extra barrier that hurts games.

2022 is stacked enough, bought my first full price game in years with kirby and looking forward to bayonetta, still plenty of great looking indies i haven't gotten around to yet either.

i always wondered about this when it came to gaming's vegans, the physical only crowd. Is there any game that doesn't get an update nowadays? not that they shouldn't, there were still bugs before patches were a thing. is there a third party way to update them? anyone keep old versions of smash?

their max size seems too high but it's a cool feature and great if their relative size to each other is accurate. don't know how the curve works, the extremely large being rarer would be better

sonic games are usually rushed but i think he might be compatible with open world, always thought sonic games are rather inefficient to make since they do a lot of level decorating that won't be on screen for long, i hear they usually put grind walls to make people replay the levels but open world games already burn a lot of time making player go from point a to b

I loved it, enjoyed working together with randos online and introduced it to some guys from my club, i started them out with a challenge level with volcanic rocks falling from the sky we failed that mission, but we still had fun overall, they said they were gonna get it in the end.
