The demo really made me fall in love with this game. While the delay is unfortunate I'd prefer to play the full game at its best.

I can wait for that.

Find myself having to Wish List everything even semi-interesting else I may not find it again when my wallet is more flush.

At current there's no feasible way to run a wire from the router in the hall and round to where the Switch, and my other systems, are currently without creating a huge mess for the family.

These days it's hard to accept speculation unless backed by hard facts. It's EA though so the thought of it not landing on Switch isn't too much of a surprise. All their ostensible gambling games will still come over though... right?

These variations of the games are sublime and a joy to play. Love the boss music they gave Bowser in this version of the original game.

Seems we are to get one of these articles daily and fight until one of us emerges as king of our floating hell.

So when IS has 'complete creative control' the best they can create are hole punches and staplers instead of actual characters. My oh my.

(And before anyone says, yes I've played the game which is why the hole punch thing really saddens me because the whole disco thing was quite humourous and would have been doubly so if the great dialogue was attached to a fleshed out character and not an office supply.)

I preferred Paper Mario when the paper aspect of the world was an aesthetic and not the philosophy that governs its creation. But given Mr. Tanabe's interviews this is likely what we'll have for now.

Because, reasonably, you're going to eventually hit a wall when you run out of paper gimmicks and there are no more office supplies to turn into characters. I'd be interested to see what kind of Paper Mario you try to make at that point.

Would be nice to get another look, and maybe a release date, for Eastward. I wouldn't say no to a little Silksong action too. Everything else is a delicious cherry on top (hopefully).

The Wonderful 101 is such a great game and I'd be down for a sequel if it happened. At the same time however not every game needs to have a series; it had a nicely contained story and ended in such a way that it could be comfortably left as is.

Imagine if we woke up tomorrow and found that Mario Kart is dialing back the racing and replacing it with mental arithmetic puzzles to accelerate on a rail.

Sure it would technically still feature racing but it wouldn't be the Mario Kart that we all know and love.

Nintendo have slowly allowed this to happen to Paper Mario.

We'll get it on 2 Switch 2 Furious no doubt.

Nice to hear; really enjoyed 1& 2 and I liked 4 despite some of its flaws so a new game by some of the brains behind them is very tantalizing.

8/8. Spent so much time looking at that Super Mario World manual in the day that I can't forget.

Still play through TTYD every now again when I'm in the humour. The X-Nauts are such a great villainous group and the dialogue is rich and hilarious. And of course it gives us the best partners in Vivian and Goombella.

Charming art-style. Might be worth a look.

Japan's box is great; getting a fun Akira vibe through it. Though I like the yellow box work on the European one also.

Always down for some more Lego in my life. It can join the myriad of buckets that keep my house from blowing away.
