In this day of the internet there are little worries to come from 'version exclusives' unless it refers to the narrative. If it doesn't then just GTS to your hearts desire!

There are times in the recent years I've felt shafted by Nintendo for having supported them (Ultra Smash and Amiibo Festival to name a couple). But what I have bought I have enjoyed immensely and still do when time permits.

Wii U at the very least should have highlighted, very brightly, elements that Nintendo could improve upon. Let's just hope that the Switch era can achieve that which Wii U could not.

I'm a little disappointed that you don't seem to fight the trial captains themselves. A big Pokémon with an aura who calls on duplicates of its evolution tree isn't a substitute for a good trainer on trainer boss battle.

Still really excited to play the game though. The story seems like it's shaping up to be as good as B&W series, which is no bad thing.

Now onto other pastures Koei. That Super Mario Warriors won't make itself!

Sounds like an excuse to give Switch the experimental spin-off games and leave the 'safe' games in the hands of Sony and Microsoft.

Some Rayman, some Prince of Persia, some Child of Light or some BG&E would be a lovely thing.

I'm sure Jan 12 will shed some much needed light on many developers intentions to support the Switch.

Anything that could potentially expand the user base right out of the launch gate would be fine. A myriad of first party titles (remasters and new games) and a smattering of great third party games would be a winning combo.

I'd rather let my points expire than spend it on this poop.

So an 8, 10 or 12gb game will have to be on a 16gb cart. Meaning a 29gb game will have to be on a 32gb cart.

Slogging through a rubbish AC or FE game on mobile for Platinum Points would be better than the tedium that is Miitomo.

Club Nintendo and the Deluxe Digital Promotion felt like they were giving you worthwhile rewards for your patronage. The fact that we only have Miitomo items to buy with Platinum Points (a rather boring app btw) is a complete joke.

Just push it to the NX and I'm a happy camper.

I've become inured to the idea that the NX isn't going to be revealed until some time in January. I'll be pleasantly surprised if this isn't true.

Until then I'll just have to play Pokemon Sun for the duration.

I absolutely loved this game growing up. My brother and I always tag-teamed to try and get through it all. We always got thwarted just around the level with the sakura-leaf throwing boss.

Definitely would recommend. It's still a brilliant game today.

That's a horrible thing to have happen to you Tom. So even if you got it to work consistently it would take forever to move what little data the internal memory could take.

I've been lucky that a 32gb Toshiba memory stick has been more than enough to satisfy my digital library storage. Won't need any more with Wii U dying and all.

I suppose the last bastion of hope is to have a fan spend 9 years making a superior Paper Mario game, distribute it and let Nintendo take it down. It seems to be the only thing that truly garners the attentive eye of Nintendo.

Saying that Paper Mario's first iterations had a heavy focus on puzzle-solving is a gross over simplification if you ask me. Puzzles in 64 and TTYD came about as a response to the narrative, narrative made possible by the vast array of characters. Puzzles were a symptom of narrative necessity and not the driving force for the entire games.

A slick reveal trailer which shows off the capacity of the system, followed by a sizzle reel of any amazing games in the pipeline. Couldn't be simpler.

It's always games already owned that seem to receive these paltry discounts. I fail to see why Nintendo can't offer some more full games when a lot of us have plenty of points hanging around our accounts.

Also is there going to be no more My Nintendo games offered through this service?

Sadly I'm burnt out on Mario Maker after spending the last year making numerous god-awful courses. So this announcement draws out little to no excitement at all; I don't relish the thought of double dipping for an inferior portable when I can send my faraway friends any level codes.

Happy for those who didn't have a Wii U to experience the game, now they can.

If you haven't already you should get Mega Man Legacy Collection or Ducktales Remastered. Or both! A classic collection and a class remaster. Pure Joy!

It's fate was sealed very early on. There's been a drought in terms of Metroid support and to try and ignite the fans passion with a spin off over a core entry was always going to be risky. It's a shame because the quality of MP:FF as a game isn't lacking.

That Project N-Stars big budget game revealed in the leaks earlier this year; was that tied to a game already revealed? If not, maybe we will see it in this Direct.

It's sad that fan games like this make a better effort for Metroid than the Big N does. I'll take this over Federation Farce any day.
