That would be a lot of fun to see these games resurface; never played Soul Blazer or Terranigma, but I loved Illusion of Gaia back on the SNES.

Square Enix just loves its mobile gaming, for better or for worse. I simply can't believe there's a high demand for classic FF games on mobile over dedicated gaming systems, I just can't.

Only ever got into a couple of mobile games, and even then my reception was, at best, lukewarm. This is not likely to change my mind Square.

@Pavil I really enjoyed Fighters Destiny back in the day. Some of the music in that game was pretty memorable to me. Still have Jokers Room saved in a playlist because of that.

Is there a character that Satoru Iwata really wanted to see in Smash that isn't currently represented? If not that could be an indication of what to expect as a final character in a project that Sakurai said he feels was his last job given to him by Mr. Iwata.

Now there's a nostalgic character I wouldn't have dreamed of seeing today. Liked the cartoons on Disney channel when I was small so I'd be down for a fun little platformer.

Surprised that Legends is releasing that early; it could kind of cannibalize their own sales from BD/SP if potential customers are going to pick one over another.

Hope they get something decent if they choose Legends over the remakes.

I'd eat up some more Mystical Ninja games if given the proper treatment.

It's performance on base PS4 is not great. They must be holding it back for the Switch Pro.

Initially the concept of Amiibo intrigued me; unlike Skylanders and Disney, who's figures only worked with their respective game series, Amiibo, being the product of a platform holder, had the potential to see use across a variety of games and mitigate buying dozens of toys for each individual game.

Despite this Nintendo still took the approach of dropping new ones for individual games and not utilizing figures that people already bought, like I thought they would.

When I bought a Shulk amiibo I thought it might work across multiple games in the Xeno series. Nope. Sadly this is the fate of many amiibo and so only really retain value as a collectable at that point.

Hollow Knight was amazing so I'm more than happy to wait for them to give it the kind of polish it deserves. The last thing I'd want is a rushed buggy mess; let the AAA industry handle that sort of thing.

Konami should just focus their attention on Pachinko and the like and simply farm out their IP's to companies that actually want to make games with them. Probably wouldn't present too much hassle.

I'd die for a Suikoden game made by Monolith Soft but am happy enough with Eiyuden Chronicle for now.

Why was it necessary to Square for this to be out by March 2021, why not just delay the game? If the cost of a delay and rework were too much then why was the game green-lit to begin with?

Really brings me back to Worms Armageddon and naming all my teams after DBZ characters. Maybe I should go back and add the roster from Super to another team too. Food for thought.

After my parents got me a SNES years ago my uncle was kind enough to get me a Super Game Boy along with Mario Land; after that I was able to play games like Battletoads and Kirbys Dream Land on a big screen.

It felt game changing back in the day and will forever be a highlight in my gaming history.

Nice to see Bahamut Lagoon here. It was a very fun game and I think any Fire Emblem fan would appreciate the array of characters within. Love that battle theme too.... to Youtube!

I'd recommend either game on just some of the hilarious dialogue by itself. Thankfully they're also rather fun RPGs, if a little buggy sometimes.

My ideal Pokemon game would retain the top down perspective but with high-def 2d sprite work. Sprites capture such a unique form of expression that 3d just doesn't.

Frame rate stutters aside, which we'll assume will be optimised before launch, it seems like an interesting idea. Will be interested to see how they flesh it out further in development.

Was never overly fond of the gangly looking character proportions in Sun/Moon or Sword/Shield so this design aesthetic is really pleasing. Would love a new game in this style too.

It'll happen when it happens; I'd much prefer they take as much time as possible in order to craft a sublime game.
