this is the second Battle Network NetNavi that got a Classic counterpart, pretty neat
I like his design quite a bit, might be my favorite one revealed so far

@KayFiOS 7 didn't have any but 8 did have some slopes, they weren't used often outside of the snowboarding sections

Remove the title from the NA box art and I would've thought it's for a Dick Tracy game, EU/Japan takes it for me, it's at least more representative of what the game is about

FYI if you don't own the game at all yet, both the base game and the bundle with all currently released DLC are on sale and much cheaper than the Switch 2 Edition on it's own, so you can just buy the base game or the bundle and then get the upgrade pack

@Mattgelo it's a Switch 2 edition, so you just download the upgrade pack and it will upgrade the physical version, it works just like any other Switch 2 Edition

For me it's on a case-by-case basis, it really just depends on how good the remake is and how much I like the changes, in the case of Ocarina of Time the remake is 100% replacing the original for me
I think I've said once or twice here before but I absolutely despise how almost all 3D N64 games look and Ocarina of Time is not an exception that
And it's not because those games look low poly and low res, I really like how 3D games look on PS1 and Sega Saturn but N64 games don't have the same appeal to me, most of them just look muddy and gross
The 3DS version was nice but my 2DS is dead so I can't play that version anymore, so I'm looking forward to the new remake and to never playing the N64 version again

@ChessboardMan yeah the Switch 2 version only shows up on the US eShop right now, the publisher is aware and are working on fixing the issue

@EarthboundBenjy speeding up the rotation was in the first game, you had to hold either A or B for it, and if you held A and B at the same time it would make the rotation even faster

@Euler level editors are much more niche, even if it's Mario it was always going to sell much less than a normal 2D Mario game would, so taking that into account 7-8 million is actually really good

I tried the demo on Switch and I'm still going to wait for a native Switch 2 version, it's nice that the game runs at 60 FPS on Switch 2 but it looks pretty bad there, distractingly low resolution that reminds me of how Shinobi Art of Vengeance looked on Switch 1 and 2 before the patch
As for the game itself I think it's promising, combat and movement feel good, I like the art-style (even though it doesn't look great on Switch) and the boss fight was fun even though it was pretty easy, can't say anything about the music because I was listening to a podcast while playing

I played Star Fox Adventures at the start of 2025, it's a super mediorce Zelda clone in my opinion and I don't have any desire to play it again, cool for people who like that game though
