Awesome, that and Strania (and Shovel Knight apparently, I had no idea that it was incompatible with Switch 2) were some of the last few Switch 1 games I own that didn't work on Switch 2, now I just need Raiden III to get fixed

I would play Star Fox but I just don't have the energy for action games in this heat, think I'll stick to more easygoing games, maybe some Picross or Powerwash Simulator 2

I'll personally never come around on this thing, to me it's an abomination

I started The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, enjoying it so far
Also picked up Parking Garage Rally Circuit plus the European Tour DLC, I played it a bunch on Steam and I'm so happy, it's finally on Switch, if anyone likes arcade racers then I highly recommend checking it out, it's a fantastic game
I also got Dialoop, which is a Balatro-esque match-3 rougelite puzzle game and it's a fun one to jump into for short sessions

@AnonyQ a bunch of DLC content that was never released on consoles due to memory capacity limit

It's odd that this costume wasn't in the full game from the start, you'd think that it'd be a bonus you get for playing the demo

@Kidfunkadelic83 there is a demo available now on Switch 2 so I'll just try that out to see if I want to play the full game

@Kidfunkadelic83 oh that's good to hear, the last paragraph of the article made me think that it's one of those games that can be played solo but it's not fun or balanced for it, but if it plays well solo then I'll give it a shot

oh it's a co-op focused game? that's a skip for me then, I just can't get a group of friends to play regularly these days

I never got the appeal of the gold theme for Zelda box arts/cartridges, to me it just looks like tacky garbage

Strania -The Stella Machina- EX finally got patched to work on Switch 2 so I'll be playing some of that, I also want to finish Mina the Hollower before The Adventures of Elliot comes out, and I'll also be doing some quick sessions of OlliOlli, Sektori and N++

So for me personally it was 7/10, good but not mind blowing which is fine, I don't go into these expecting them to be because that's just asking for disappointment
But after seeing really stupid comments from certain someone who called a lot of the announcements here "shovelware" and can't comprehend that there people who buy Nintendo consoles for things other than Bing-Bing Wahoo Man games and can't afford other consoles or a good PC to play 3rd party games I'm gonna rate it 10/10 out of spite

The first dlc pack for Mario Kart 8 on Wii U came out on November 13th 2014, about 6 months after the game came out, and the second one came out 5 months later on April 23rd 2015

Well I've already beaten and don't have any desire to revisit it, at least not anytime soon, I thought the game looked and sounded great and the shooting was decently fun but it got old after awhile because of lack of enemy variety and the game going on for a bit too long

@Hawkes142 yeah there are puzzle games that you can die or take damage in but it's not a requirement, it depends on the game if it's something that fits it or would be beneficial to have, and after beating 6 chapters in this game I can safely say that it wouldn't benefit from having things like that and would even potentially be a worse game if did have those things

still no fixes for Strania or Raiden III and IV, am sad
at least Overcooked AYCE works on Switch 2 now, still baffled that they choose 2 for a Switch 2 upgrade instead of AYCE

@squiddu-real I think people assume that they will do that because they replaced the soundtrack for Rayman 1 in the 30th Anniversary Edition, but it's still a dumb assumption, especially when you remember that the new music in that version was by the composer of Origins and Legends

@silver-crescent Legends does not have all of Origins content, plus many of the levels from Origins it does have were downgraded in some way or another

Honestly I'm down for this, the only version of Origins I have access to is the PC version via Ubisoft Connect (ew), so a Switch/Switch 2 version would be very welcome

@EarthboundBenjy TGM 3 will most likely not happen, it ran on some weird PC-based arcade board that even on PC is a pain to emulate because it requires a bunch of hackery nonsense

At first I hated that they're doing another retelling of the same story and that it's a second remake of 64 but after some time I got sold on it, primarily because there will finally be a home console version of this game that I don't hate looking at like I do with the original (or most N64 games for that matter)

@JackieCMarlow Then maybe those people should've waited until one or two games from those top 1st party franchises are at least announced, instead of stupidly spending a lot of money with a baseless assumption that they're gonna be announced and released shortly after they buy the console

I mean there was nowhere to go but up from how awful the original looked but the remake does look really good

But seriously, this has to be the lamest way to bring Star Fox back, I'll still get it because I want to see this series continue after this but I can't say I'm super excited for this
It does look pretty though, and I don't mind the character designs

Ok sure but I would really like if they gave Ys 8 and 9 a Switch 2 upgrade because those games really need it, especially 9, and even if we're talking just about The Legend of Heroes games I feel like there are other games in this series that would benefit from an upgrade more, like Cold Steel 3 and 4 or both of the Daybreak games

This game is phenomenal and I was really hoping that it would come to Switch or Switch 2, definitely double dipping on this

@Glasso have you tried Kill Knight? It runs really well on OG Switch and it's a great twin-stick shooter imo

@andykara2003 personally I'd say so, the Adventure mode is kinda eh but the actual meat of the single-player in this game (for me at least) is the All Trials mode that has 100 missions to complete with each having 3 goals in them to get 3 stars, you have to unlock it first though by beating the Trial Towers mode

I'm getting it because I love Splatoon but I still have no idea what the gameplay loop is supposed to be

I wonder what the gameplay loop is, because the trailer doesn't really tell me anything about that
I wouldn't mind if it was a different take on the Side Order's roguelike formula except, you know, actually have it be fleshed out instead of feeling incomplete like Side Order did

If they do another damn retelling of the first Star Fox I'm gonna scream, and that includes another remake of 64, just do something a little bit different please (unless it's another Adventures type of game, I played that game last year and it was the most 5/10 game I've ever played)

I've been replaying Super Meat Boy, it's been almost 10 years since I last played it and I'm currently going through the Dark World levels, sadly I'm not enjoying it as much as I used to
I still think it's good but there are a lot more terrible levels than I remember, plus I don't think the controls have aged that well, and the gravity ball (idk if that's what it's called) gimmick in The Rapture levels is so awful
I've also been playing some matches in Mario Tennis Fever and doing some runs in Brotato

So is this like if the Speed Golf mode in Mario Golf: Super Rush was good?
Because that's what it looks like to me
