The wait for Switch 2 has rotted brains of some people so much that some even thought that the mediocre looking Pokemon Legends Z-A was shown running on Switch 2, if they were showing a game running on Switch 2 then Nintendo would tell us

@themightyant so that more realistic racing games don't suck to play on Switch 2, it wouldn't be ideal but at least it'd be something

I'm hoping that at least the Pro Controller will have analog triggers, if they're insistent on not having them on the Joy-Con then at least put them on the Pro Controller

I picked up Rift of the NecroDancer and I'm having a lot of fun but I'm also really bad at it, I also started playing through La-Mulana and some of the puzzles are driving me insane but weirdly enough I'm not getting frustrated with it

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity really needs it imo, I have more issues with that game than just the performance and resolution but if they improve those then it would be a lot more enjoyable for me
But for the game I want to see enhanced on Switch 2 is Kirby and the Forgotten Land, it already looks and runs really good on Switch but seeing it run at 60 FPS with enemies that move at more than 10 FPS in the background would be amazing

@awp69 was it about sensitivity? because by default the controls are a bit too sensitive but there is a sensitivity option so it's not a big deal

@caseyyy I'm pretty sure SFA3 Upper was never released outside of Japan so I think when they're saying "The English version has been built using the Japanese version's data as a base" that basically means "We translated the parts that were in Japanese"

I decided to do a 100% playthrough of Yoshi's Island because I've never done that before and just 2 worlds in I can confidently say I will never do it again
I also picked up Star of Providence which is just as amazing as it was back when it released in 2017 on Steam (it used to be called Monolith back then but they changed the title to avoid potential legal issues with WB), it's up there with both Spelunky games as one of my favorite roguelites of all time and one of my favorite games period

@LastFootnote they never said anything about taking extra time with their games after Scarlet/Violet so you might've dreamed it

hopefully there is a cool spin-off made by someone other than Game Freak that interests me, I don't have any hopes about Legends Z-A being good after how badly Scarlet/Violet turned out but maybe they'll surprise me

Game Freak is notoriously slow when it comes to jumping to the new hardware, Pokemon Black and White released on DS the year the 3DS came out and their sequels came out only on DS a year after AND Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon came out on 3DS the year Switch came out, just because Z-A is coming out the same year as the Switch 2 doesn't mean it's gonna be cross-gen

I just don't get the love for the first Wario Land
Even if I treat it as a Mario game with Wario as a protag I don't find it nearly as fun as Super Mario Land 2, it's slower, feels worse to control and the levels are kinda boring

anyone who is expecting Gamecube, Wii and 3DS games to be added to NSO is a fool, not only is it more lucrative for Nintendo to remaster/remake those games and charge $40/$60 for them but also those games aren't so old and dated that they can just be given away, especially Wii and 3DS games
DS games maybe could be added but I can't see them being very fun to play even with the Joy-Con mouse, I would know because emulating and playing DS games on PC that heavily use the touchscreen is not very fun, it feels clunky as hell

looks cool, as long as it doesn't have any narration by someone who likes the smell of their own farts it will be better than The Witness by default

there was a rumor last year about an Apple Arcade sports game with Sonic so if I had to guess that's probably what this trademark is for

@topher6490 nope, as of now those are still published by Nintendo but I wouldn't be surprised if that changes in a few months

idk why people are still expecting Capcom to announce anything in these, every single one of these showcases so far was just them talking about already announced games and it will be the same this time, people are just getting their hopes up for no reason

I want a proper single-player mode, not necessarily DKR-style hub but I want something more involved than just the Grand Prix cups (although those should still be in the game)

@Clyde_Radcliffe that's the main reason why I didn't buy this collection, I get not including Tetris games published by Nintendo but the Tetris Plus games, The New Tetris and maybe one or two games from early 2000's should be included to better represent the whole history of Tetris, instead of just focusing on the very early stuff

I never really liked the Rare design of DK, it was fine but he just always looked angry for no reason, I like the new design way more

@PepperMintRex it did release in some regions on the original release date but it wasn't meant to and it was quickly pulled from the eshop
