Didn't they do two big games with "Woke" elements? I believe I remember seeing youtube videos about both the new AC and the new Star Wars having a touch of that. And they get "Get Woke, Go Broke". Was this a case of that? Just asking because I don't actually keep up with UBI any more. I mostly only play first party Nintendo Titles.

I like the ornamentation of the US box, but the design of the European box. If the European box had the frames of the North American box, perfect!

@Member_the_game For me it is Splatoon 4. I bought the Splatoon 2 Switch, and the Splatoon 3 OLED Switch so I need a Splatoon 4 Super Nintendo Switch.

I remember that Dodgeball game being on a pull out poster in Nintendo Power! I always wanted to play it. But I don't think it ever came to the US. It was all the games coming to the NEW SNES. I was so pumped. That was probably my happiest video game life. Only getting info from Magazines and being so surprised when you found something at the rental store you hadn't heard of.

Maybe FINALLY another Madden. Or NCAA football would be even better.

I did team past because Callie and Marie started my obsession with the game. I actually like Pearl and Marina a LOT so almost picked them. I really don't like the third games characters other than Big Man. The other two I find annoying. I still say "Say Fresh" and do my hands like theirs so I had to go with Past overall.

Final Splatfest and STILL people haven't learned in Tri-Color, if we are the attacking team, do NOT kill the other attackers. Only kill the defense. I've lost so many games where the other attackers attack me when WE have already captured the Ultra Signal, if we are taking the 2nd one, don't kill us.

They should do a compilation of every game, when some remastered and some just slightly refreshed. Like the GBA games could have beautiful pixel art. But I know it won't happen haha

For International Karate at 1:57 in, I realize there is no way to actually get that view. To get that view of the world trade center you would have to be in Jersey City looking east, but the statue of Liberty has her back to JC so it would be the back of her.

I'm not complaining at all, I get the creative license, but as a kid I never realized this, but as an adult I'm like, "OHHHHH that's cool"

This is still my favorite adventure game of all time. 10 out of 10, highly recommend

I see a lot of people say this looks good. I couldn't tell if it was sarcasm. I thought this looked very dated, even for switch. It looked like a mobile game to me. I almost thought a little nostalgic for the Dreamcast. I'd love another dreamcast style game.

@Pillowpants Yes, it's the only system that ever had Eternal Darkness. I really miss that game.

Whichever was the first one was one of my favorite party games for the Wii. I liked the trampoline and the swimming.

I have collected Lego for a while, and this is probably the worst design I've seen in a long long time. I was going to say it looks like someone tried to create this from memory, and saw that @metroidprimed just beat me to it. haha

If it is OLED, I'd probably buy one day one, if not, I'll just keep playing my backlog and then buy a "New" version when it comes out with OLED. UNLESS, they call it the Super Nintendo Switch, and if that's the case I'll buy Day one because that's what I've been calling it.

This one was a tough one for me. I went with the US because of Nostalgia. But the Japanese is really cool as well. That would have made a great poster.

@JohnnyC I was the opposite back then, after seeing the graphics of the Atari 2600 for so long, I was like WOW! These graphics are AMAZING! haha

This is a game I always wanted to try but forgot about. It's cool they released it for fan only servers. If only Sega had done that for SEGA HEROS mobile. That was my favorite mobile game of all time.

When it is sub $10 I'll probably give it a go. Use to love these style games. The best was Ivan Stewart's Super Off Road. I REALLY miss that game. And Rock N Roll Racing.

Eternal Darkness is my favorite game ever. I would love for a remaster of that game to come out. I would pre-order today even if they announced for 2027. haha

@NintendoKnight That's cool. I've never seen it. I'd much rather see something like the HD-2D though. This was one of my FAVORITE rpgs when I was young, so would love for it to play the same, just be gloriously beautiful.

@KingMike I remember always thinking there would be a hidden code where a 5th bomber could be in the center. But alas, it never came to be.

I know it's not Nintendo, but I LOVE seeing Stellar Blade still putting up numbers.

So for Rocket League, they have this on switch, and when playing handheld I didn't notice much of a difference, but when I made the graphics "Prettier" when docked, it looked like an entirely different game. It was so beautiful to me.

I agree with others that I actually think it should be BOTH on the new switch. It should be powerful enough to make Rocket League look pretty AND play at 60fps

I love that this is a tie as of Monday morning 9:30am est. They're both amazing. I went with the North American / Japan one. There is something engaging about it, and I could imagine it being a poster on my wall as a kid.

I liked Diddy Kong Racing better than Mario Kart on the 64... there I said it. Fight me.

I went to get it today and all of my platinum points had expired... This sucks. I still don't understand why they have to expire.

I guess this makes sense since the new game will override everything the original had to offer. I just always get anxious when I see "delisted". Everything is temporary now.

@RupeeClock Never heard of it, but saw your comment, read the review, and for $4.99, even if I don't like it, it's not a big waste of money. I'll try to remember to let you know what I think. Thanks for mentioning it.

It's interesting, usually I'm with the majority, but this time I picked NA and it was the worst. I think it is because I remember the day I got the game, and how me and my friends could all play at once. It was SO cool. We were like, this is the FUTURE! Even though we had had the "multi-tap" whatever it was called for the NES that allowed us to play four players, and my atari 5200 allowed for 4 players from the jump. But still, this time it was the FUTURE! (because 5.)

Xbox being sold to nvidia was pretty good. I think any April Fools joke should at the bottom of the article say "April Fool's". I mean that is how it works in real life. You play the joke and then say April Fools.

I am sure the people at Nintendo are way smarter than I am about this, but I still think they should do a slight refresh of the switch lite (maybe a better screen, with 2 new colors of shell) and sell it for $129 (or something like that) or $149 with a pack-in game (Super Mario Odyssey because people will still buy Mario Kart 8) and have that released with the Super Nintendo Switch comes out.

The North American Market sold around 33 million NEWS of which 710k (approximately, seems no one has an exact number) were the new redesign top loaders at the end of the life cycle.

I know Nintendo would probably want to sell more of the SuperSwitch, but banging out another 10-15 million units or so of the OG at a reduced price shouldn't hurt the sales of the new system that much. To me, someone that will pay $400 for a new switch, isn't going to be the buyer of the $129 to $149 OG switch.

I think for any carbon roller fan, not having Seekers as the special will always be missed. I also loved the original rollers original Killer Wail. I remember on Hammerhead Bridge, for the rainmaker when teams made a final push at the end, you could splat all 4 because they were always so tight together. Good times. Literally the game that I've cared the most about in the past 7 years is Splatoon. I have the shirts, I have the bags, and I have the heartache from every rainmaker loss.
