The main goal is porting MGS4 since that's stuck on the PS3, people have wanted that for a long time.

Astro Bot needs to do well so it shows them there is an audience for those types of games that aren't these trillion dollar blockbusters that take years and years to make.

Well, I can say that I'm glad that they are finally doing a different bundle anyways rather than the Mario Kart 8 bundle they had for years and years.

And Nintendo is good about their consoles having it unless its like the media type or something. (E.g: Cartridges/Discs)

I wish we got a physical of the other two Famicom Detective games. Them being digital only and having no English physical of any sort is really crappy.

Hmm. I'm honestly not the biggest fan of the gold they used.

I really wasn't expecting anything so I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of games I was personally interested in.

It is a start, but with the amount of games the series has. Dunno just the first game? Not even 0? 0 I think is important to play before Kiwami and 0 is also really good. Even after playing all the games outside of Infinite Wealth I still think its one of the best in the series.

I love Power Stone, I thought that those games would never get a port outside those PSP ones years ago.

This'll go wonderfully with the GBA games I already own as apart of the advanced collection.

I played through Earthbound very recently, in fact I finished it about a week or two ago and moved on Mother 3 since I heard that was just as good.

Even without mentioning Giygas, there's plenty of eerie things about Earthbound. Cults, gangs and odd looking creatures. I remember when I was a kid watching a let's play of Earthbound in the early era of YouTube, 2008-2009 that the boss music for the Sanctuary bosses would give me full on nightmares.

As an adult it may not seem all that scary, but some of the enemy sprites are still a tad unnerving. On another note, I wish that Nintendo would give us more Mother merchandise outside of Japan. I really wanted those plushies, but paying over $100 with shipping and fees is really rough.

I am surprised that this game is not receiving a new Zelda Amiibo to match Link's. I'll still take these though I don't have them.

I wish we in the U S got pre-order bundles like that.

Can we get a physical ultimate edition with all the DLC? I know Ubisoft loves stuff like that.

Not sure why the ESRB ver. was limited anyhow. Something like this should've hit retail to start with.

Maybe. I dunno, I think I'd be more tempted if this counted physical pre-orders as well or if it allowed you to gain 3 months of NSO and the expac.

I find it funny that Castlevania has had so many crossovers as of late,

There's definitely a lot I'm going to buy here even if I don't even have the time to play all the games I do buy.

Zelda, Emio, and indies like Balatro and Sanabi come to mind. Even that Switch Lite is tempting to me. .

If there were going to do that, I feel like it would've happened already. The Switch is the odd one out as one of the only home consoles to not have some sort of line like that whether it be selects or player's choice.

@27celsius I wouldn't consider Origami King really an RPG in the same vein as the first two games.

With all these remakes and Mario & Luigi returning seems like its solid revival for this area.

I am a little surprised that after NES Remix 1 and 2 on both Wii U/3DS they decided to do NES again instead of say SNES for example.

I don't know how I'm supposed to survive with all these Falcom games coming out, between Ys X, Felghana, Daybreak I and Daybreak II.

I will be buying. I have all on my later Ys games on PS5, so I'll get Memoire: The Oath in Felghana on Switch.

Tsukihime, but no Witch on the Holy Night?

Its a shame because this game was 19.99 very often, but I heard the performance on Switch was just terrible so I opted to buy it on other platforms.

Both issues pertaining to both audio and framerate.

I hate that places like Walmart or Amazon can just have people there selling things from 3rd party sellers.

If I wanted to buy it from a 3rd party I would go ebay or Mercari. When I go on Walmart I want to buy something directly from Walmart themselves.

@sanderev Considering I only play around 10 games or so on the service, then yeah VC ended up being cheaper for me in the long run.

There's many games on the service, but I don't play on playing all of them since I don't have an interest in all of them. Really, Nintendo could of easily done it like they have it now, but have it so you can purchase individual games if you want for a fee. That's not even bringing up the drip-feed nature of the series, I mean its been 7 years and the library still seems lacking to me.

You can sub to NSO and get everything under the subscription or you can buy some individual games for whatever amount and have it locked to your account. You can buy classic PS1 or PS2 games on Sony's store and have it forever, its not like they're only locked to their sub service.

PC players do have online for free and they do not have to pay for it like we do still. So I guess they got the better deal here. There are many people that have experienced issues with online games during the Switch's lifespan so those people's issues are valid.

@sanderev Sony and Microsoft's online services are better than Nintendo's. Its not like the online is substantially different from the Wii U era, and we didn't pay anything back then.

And those old games can be played on practically anything, my phone can play 90% of those games and for me this is the 3rd time I'm being offered NES and SNES games, so I'm not impressed at this point.

For me its a moot point, since I barely play online games anymore outside of FFXIV, but there are many people that do play games online such as Splatoon and Smash and it sucks that their experience isn't better.

You know I was using my 3DS the other day and that if nothing else just made me miss how I didn't have to rent those games or anything.

Their worse mistake was not allowing these things to transfer over from previous consoles. Its so crazy to me that we doing this whole retro library thing again after the Wii U, 3DS and Wii. You can't expect me to pay for decades old games a third time and still see as exciting.
