Nah, no way. The U.S gets screwed especially when it comes to the preorder bonuses.
On top of generally more interesting bonuses, they get steelbooks and stuff. Like TTYD came with a buildable battle stage, how cool is that? Only Europe got it of course.
It would be nice because the digital versions barely ever go on sale and if there was a physical option it certainly would; to say nothing of the second-hand market.
I think the two remakes have been on sale maybe once. I don't know why they would make the two remakes digital only and then Emio gets the physical treatment. It's not like Emio is any less niche than the two remakes.
Well, I don't have NSO and I haven't really seen a need to get it considering I don't play a lot of multiplayer games so I guess not for me.
If it didn't require NSO to use it I'd give it a try. Also, the starting selection is pretty bad. Nintendo has such a massive catalogue of music, I feel like they could've given us more than that to start with.
I think it is sort of telling that there was a many year gap between RE6 and RE7. I think they really had to rethink what they wanted RE to be at that point.
What's funny is that RE6 sold quite well, so its not like it didn't sell and I feel like if this was another company they would've just done RE6 again for RE7.
I never would've thought the Xenoblade franchise would expand the way that it did back during the Wii days I sadly thought Xenoblade Chronicles would go down as one of those forgotten Nintendo games during that era as that wasn't uncommon back then.
I could not have guesses that it would be even a fraction as large as it is now. There catalouge is impressive given that no one seemed to talk about them before Xenoblade Chronicles aside from Xenosaga.
Baten Kaitos has seen a sort of new life given the new ports, but that DB RPG they developed on the DS was quite good as well.
I really don't think its fair to push aside other peoples issue with framerate, just because its not something that you personally care about. If it bothers other people then that's just as valid as not caring at all about it.
Its odd that this game would be so performance heavy given that it doesn't look nearly as impressive as BOTW/TOTK.
Given that Link's awakening had similar problems, maybe its Grezzo on the line here. It is disappointing given all they had to do was lock the framerate to 30.
I wonder if they can somehow come to a balance or if the Zelda fanbase will be segmented now between people who want TOTK/ BOTW versus people who want the games more inline with TP, WW, OOT and MM.
Switch sports is an interesting title, since I feel like people were rather lukewarm on it as title, but it sold very well apparently so it must have been a good success.
Astro Bot needs to do well so it shows them there is an audience for those types of games that aren't these trillion dollar blockbusters that take years and years to make.
I wish we got a physical of the other two Famicom Detective games. Them being digital only and having no English physical of any sort is really crappy.
It is a start, but with the amount of games the series has. Dunno just the first game? Not even 0? 0 I think is important to play before Kiwami and 0 is also really good. Even after playing all the games outside of Infinite Wealth I still think its one of the best in the series.
I played through Earthbound very recently, in fact I finished it about a week or two ago and moved on Mother 3 since I heard that was just as good.
Even without mentioning Giygas, there's plenty of eerie things about Earthbound. Cults, gangs and odd looking creatures. I remember when I was a kid watching a let's play of Earthbound in the early era of YouTube, 2008-2009 that the boss music for the Sanctuary bosses would give me full on nightmares.
As an adult it may not seem all that scary, but some of the enemy sprites are still a tad unnerving. On another note, I wish that Nintendo would give us more Mother merchandise outside of Japan. I really wanted those plushies, but paying over $100 with shipping and fees is really rough.
If there were going to do that, I feel like it would've happened already. The Switch is the odd one out as one of the only home consoles to not have some sort of line like that whether it be selects or player's choice.

Re: Talking Point: With 'Switch 2' Coming, Will Switch Get A Price Cut?
I sort of doubt it. They haven't had one during the entire Switch's lifespan and Nintendo has made a gazillion dollars.
It is still selling so no reason to slash the price. Maybe sometime after the Switch 2 comes out. Otherwise, I do not think so.

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Mario & Luigi: Brothership?
I might get it for Christmas. No point in buying games on release date, since I already have tons of games I haven't finished yet!
Re: Review: Slay The Princess - The Pristine Cut (Switch) – A Brilliant Horror Narrative Hampered By Technical Issues
I'm surprised a game like this can even have issues like that.

Re: Review: REYNATIS (Switch) - Underbaked Action-RPG Fare That Plays Rough On Switch
Furyu is king of middle of the road experiences. Monark, Trinity Trigger, The Caligula Effect.
None of these games are particularly bad, but it doesn't seem like their track record is getting much better either.

Re: Nintendo Teams Up With Lawson In New Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Campaign
I like that tumbler. .
Re: Two New Mario Kart 8: Deluxe Switch Bundles Announced (North America)
They're kind of lame? I mean design wise, they could have done a little more I think.
Re: Nintendo Announces New Switch OLED 'Super Mario Bros. Wonder' Bundle
Wonder was so good. I'm kind of surprised we didn't get another 3D Mario game, but maybe it could be for the launch of the next console.
Re: Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection For Switch Confirmed As "Code In Box" Release (Europe)
Code in box is so pointless, might as well not even release the physical version if its going to be that.
Re: Konami Doesn't Want To Rush Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2
The main goal is porting MGS4 since that's stuck on the PS3, people have wanted that for a long time.

Astro Bot needs to do well so it shows them there is an audience for those types of games that aren't these trillion dollar blockbusters that take years and years to make.
Re: Rumour: Nintendo To Launch A New Switch OLED Bundle With Mario Wonder
Well, I can say that I'm glad that they are finally doing a different bundle anyways rather than the Mario Kart 8 bundle they had for years and years.
Re: Rumour: Switch "Successor" Will Be Backwards Compatible, It's Claimed
I really don't see why it wouldn't. I mean it probably will.
And Nintendo is good about their consoles having it unless its like the media type or something. (E.g: Cartridges/Discs)
Re: Mario & Luigi: Brothership Steelbook Pre-Order Bonus Revealed
If this is Europe only I will be angy.

Re: Zelda-Themed 'Hyrule Edition' Switch Lite Spotted At PAX West 2024
@JayJ This is the first time I'm hearing about those joycons, actually. I can't believed I missed those.
Re: Zelda-Themed 'Hyrule Edition' Switch Lite Spotted At PAX West 2024
@N00BiSH I wish I didn't have to pay an arm and a leg for one these days
Re: Zelda-Themed 'Hyrule Edition' Switch Lite Spotted At PAX West 2024
@N00BiSH Just my opinion. I really liked the Gold 3DS they came out with.
Re: Zelda-Themed 'Hyrule Edition' Switch Lite Spotted At PAX West 2024
Hmm. I'm honestly not the biggest fan of the gold they used.
Re: Nintendo Direct August 2024 - Every Announcement & Game Reveal From The Indie World & Partner Showcases
I really wasn't expecting anything so I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of games I was personally interested in.

Re: 'Power Stone' Is Coming To Switch In 'Capcom Fighting Collection 2'
I love Power Stone, I thought that those games would never get a port outside those PSP ones years ago.
Re: 'Castlevania Dominus Collection' Brings Three DS Classics To Switch Today
This'll go wonderfully with the GBA games I already own as apart of the advanced collection.

Re: Two Zelda amiibo Restocked Ahead Of Echoes Of Wisdom Launch (US)
I am surprised that this game is not receiving a new Zelda Amiibo to match Link's. I'll still take these though I don't have them.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Super Mario Party Jamboree On Switch
I wish we in the U S got pre-order bundles like that.
Re: Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown DLC Is Unmasked Next Month
Can we get a physical ultimate edition with all the DLC? I know Ubisoft loves stuff like that.
Re: Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Physical Edition Getting Wide Retail Release
Not sure why the ESRB ver. was limited anyhow. Something like this should've hit retail to start with.
Re: Get 3 Months Of Nintendo Switch Online When You Buy Super Mario Party Jamboree (US)
Maybe. I dunno, I think I'd be more tempted if this counted physical pre-orders as well or if it allowed you to gain 3 months of NSO and the expac.
Re: Dead By Daylight's Castlevania Chapter Bites Later This Month
I find it funny that Castlevania has had so many crossovers as of late,
to name a few, but but can't actually create a new game.

Re: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For August And September 2024
There's definitely a lot I'm going to buy here even if I don't even have the time to play all the games I do buy.
Zelda, Emio, and indies like Balatro and Sanabi come to mind. Even that Switch Lite is tempting to me. .
Re: Talking Point: Will The Switch Ever Get A 'Nintendo Selects' Range?

Hogwarts Legacy still topping charts.

Re: Zelda Producer Eiji Aonuma Says He's "Really Thrilled" About The First Lego Set
Man. When did LEGOs get so expensive.
Re: Switch Online Adds Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition Icons
I will be purchasing these icons I think. That aside, the hat actually is out of stock at the moment, so that sort of sucks.
Re: Best Nintendo Switch Puzzle Games
Man I wish the Portal collection had a physical.
Re: Nintendo Reminds Us Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Is Now 20 Years Old
@27celsius I wouldn't consider Origami King really an RPG in the same vein as the first two games.
Re: Nintendo Reminds Us Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Is Now 20 Years Old
Now if only we could get a brand new Paper Mario RPG.
With all these remakes and Mario & Luigi returning seems like its solid revival for this area.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition?
I am a little surprised that after NES Remix 1 and 2 on both Wii U/3DS they decided to do NES again instead of say SNES for example.
