@Dimjimmer MH Wilds and Oblivion Remastered fighting for who can be worse.

I'm hoping for Metroid Prime 2 or 3. I'd like to see what Monolith is doing next. Doesn't have to be Xenoblade, but a new IP would be good too.

More patches for Switch 1 games. Maybe a Kid Icarus Uprising port with new content and such. I know Sakurai just got finished with Kirby, but I hope he returns to Kid Icarus eventually.

You know looking back a lot of launches many weren't all that hot. The 3Ds for example, pretty pitiful launch.

Considering the amount of times Bethesda has released Skyrim, this is pretty baffling.

But when you look at the Fallout 4 update that yet again broke the game and maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

Just like the Switch 1, for every impressive port you'll have one that's shocking.

Having played the original, I have no idea what they were thinking were the way they recast some of the characters in this game. Don't even look like the same person.

I haven't played it yet, but all the reviews I've seen for this game have left me disappointed.

When you end up waiting so long for another game, you want something that can rise above simply another Metroid Prime game.

Wish I had bought it later on, to be honest since the console would end up getting a discount. Not much has come out for it, most of the games are on Switch 1, so eh.

Hmm, I really thought we would've had a couple more by now aside from the initial batch at launch.

Aside from Xenoblade, Metroid Dread could benefit and Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I've been really holding out for Thousand Year Door too.

I'm sure it'll be a good port, but never been crazy about the modern era AC games compared to Black Flag and Brotherhood.

While Ubisoft is at it, they should update the Mario + Rabbids games for Switch 2

4K TVs are pretty cheap these days, especially in comparison to monitors.

I'd kill for a Danny Phantom game that was even half as good as some of these latest SpongeBob games.

Looks pretty solid. Something about getting new physical copies for these old consoles will never not be cool to me.

Never got super into Amiibo personally. I do own a figure collection, so if I'm in the mood for one I'll buy those.

I remember them saying they were going to support the original Switch, but not much has come of that. Wasn't there something about bringing CoD to Switch?

Whatever happened with that. The only thing I would want is Rare Replay since that isn't even on PC.

I was excited for Outlaws since that was a game that had potential, and while I think its good we have this I'll probably be passing.

Haven't felt much for this franchise since Black Flag or so.

We really couldn't package these two games together.

Square has been very random with how they've been handled Switch 2 upgrades. Some have 0, some are paid and then some are straight up free. Kind of odd.

This having a free upgrade is an easy pickup for Switch 2 in any case.

Battle Network and Starforce. Crazy to see them return. Most people think of the classic or X series when they think of Mega Man so I feel like the odd one out growing up with these instead,

I don't really have any hope for Pokemon at this point. Consider me pessimistic, but I found Scarlet/Violet to be so bland.

Arceus was at least something different even if that game had its own problems.

Unlike previous additions I can't see myself buying this. The NSO controllers are good, because they can be used on original hardware and games outside of the service, which I think is cool.

If they did a release with games and the like, like an SNES classic I might be more interested. Also they didn't release the VB controller, which is a bummer.

I think we are running in circles here. Sure, the Switch 2 will be good for awhile; but a new generation isn't that far off and we'll be in a similar position as we were with Switch 1.

We'll get some miracle ports probably once that happens, but it'll up to the developers to optimize the best they can for the hardware.

Since this does have cross save on PC and Switch 2 its a perfect reason to double dip. Nice to see another actual physical for Switch 2 as well.

I really don't think we'll ever reach the peaks of the DS era for Pokemon
Heartgold/Soulsilver, Pokemon Platinum, Pokemon Conquest, Explorers Of Sky, Pokemon Ranger Series and of course Black and White.

Absolutely insane to look at Pokemon now compared to back then.

Doubt this will ever be translated, but we do have the Sega Saturn translation at least.

I was hoping Metroid Prime 4 might have a collector's edition. Similar to what we got with Dread.

Bought it physically on Switch 1 and digitally on Switch 2. This series needs more love.

Maybe we can get Raidou 2 and the Digital Devil Saga games down the line as well.

I think Galaxy 2 should've been in 3d all stars to begin with. Seeing as I have that, to get the improvements Nintendo is basically asking me to buy Galaxy 1 again and for a higher price.

Sigh.

Considering the price I thought it would've came with the VB controller, but it does not.

DLC so soon like this I really feel like this either should've been in the game or free. Unless this sees a significant discount, I will not be buying.

I mean if this was its own thing it would be a cool novelty, but the fact that its tied to NSO doesn't make me want to buy it.

I'd like some updates on Switch 1 games. There's quite a few games that are sitting in my backlog that I didn't get around to, but I would like to just wait at this point for a Switch 2 patch.

Astral Chain, Mario Wonder, Xenoblade X, Thousand Year Door, Metroid Dread, and there's probably others I'm not thinking of.

I know AC has relatively large fanbase, and it doesn't seem the most unreasonable thing in the world.

Maybe AC Shadows can come next given the success out Outlaws?

A poor effort, for every Outlaws and Cyberpunk there's this.

The console hasn't really been out long enough really for a best of has it?

Let's see how the library looks next year or so.

@Polvasti Shadow Labyrinth, which is odd given that it doesn't look particularly that demanding. Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, if based upon the demo is disappointing. Initially Hitman as well, which was updated later.

Unfortunately since many games don't have Switch 2 native versions they don't perform as great as they could like Shinobi and Ninja Gaiden Ragebound although the former is getting an update at least.

Third party offerings have left much to be desired, especially in terms of performance. Its sad to see so many Switch 2 games with performance issues either do to lack of optimization or lack of a native Switch 2 version to begin with.

No one is expecting high end PC or PS5 performance, but consistent performance is apparently too high of a bar these days.

Surely not for that price. It's Ubisoft, we know how this goes. This'll be half off in due time.

You could name this entire generation 'patchy performance'.

The method of optimizing games across platforms almost seems like a lost art and then its genuinely shocking when a game releases and is optimized across all platforms.

I can't believe we're still doing code in box releases.

I've been left wanting with the Switch 2. Which is why I was definitely hoping for that general direct.

While the Indie/Partner showcases are neat, I only mainly purchases 1st party games on it so I've been wondering on things like Metroid Prime 4 and other Switch to Switch 2 upgrades.

I've held off on games in my backlog like Mario Wonder, Xenoblade X, Metroid Dread and Astral Chain for the future Switch 2 update. I hope Prime 4 still comes out this year.

Most of these games, I would consider a stable 30 to be a success given how demanding some games are even on the more powerful consoles.

Act 3 of Baldur's Gate 3 for example has framerate issues even on PS5.
