Advance Wars is the first big sale its had, but I'm still unsure. I think the original art style honestly held up better.

Aside from that I own most of the first party titles bar, Animal Crossing. I like AC, but I hear this one was a step down compared to new life or on GameCube?

Didn't the Nintendo store used to be better? I feel like most of the items aren't that good.

I didn't have Club Nintendo back in the day, but apparently you could buy soundtracks and even a couple games. At least there's a few things that are still semi interesting like the Pikmin towel.

I need to use my points soon so I don't lose them.

I thought this had been canceled or something, no news for forever but glad its finally coming out.

I finished the original Luigi's mansion around Halloween of last year and really enjoyed it.

Since the sequel was announced for Switch I'd figure I might as well wait at this point instead of playing the 3Ds version I had.

Its hard to imagine calling something like the PS4 or Xbox One retro, whatever retro is supposed to mean. What defined previous generations of games was the jump in both technology, design and graphics.

N64 > Gamecube. That's a pretty noticeable difference.

PS2 > PS3 . Also a decent difference.

But since the seventh generation, consoles have sort of plateaued in terms of these aspects. A PS4 game isn't all that different from a PS5 game.

Even the term modern is in question. There are some older games that could pass off as modern games, today. A game like Mega Man X feels just as good today as it did over a decade ago.

Well, Nintendo prices their products at the prices they do because they know people will buy them at those prices. Nintendo is an outlier, by the way they price their products and it works fine for them.

Sure, Nintendo could change their pricing model, but the reality is the vast majority either don't mind or don't care. Why price them cheaper when you know you can get more money out of your audience by charging more and knowing that it's practically guaranteed revenue?

If Nintendo released Wind Waker and Twilight Princess separately on Switch for $60 each with no added content or changes people would buy them.

Bleach deserves better.

I thought Color Splash was actually quite good. I mean its not one of the best games in the series or anything, but its not that bad.

Again, surprisingly so considering that the internet has told me that anything that's not TTYD, the original or Super Paper Mario is bad.

The screen on my Switch is has some somewhat noticeable scratches and I do use mine in handheld often enough. Strangely enough I've not had to replace my Joycons despite drift being a big issue.

I'm not sure what has been stopping me, but I'd really like the Zelda or Pokemon OLED.

You know I really should pickup a Switch OLED even knowing of the new console coming out soon, since I've only had my 2017 Switch all this time.

They should make a 3D game . Donkey Kong I think as an IP is overdue a good 3D adventure.

I mean the only other one is DK64, right? I think it's about time.

Seeing Maxell from Scribblenauts gave me some nostalgia. Kind of unfortunate the last one, wasn't very good.

If Nintendo was keeping an eye on Embracer, I really would of liked them to acquire Free Radical considering their roots with Perfect Dark/Golden Eye and Timesplitters.

I can't say I'm all that excited really, just because its a game I've played already, unlike Super Mario RPG which I had not played. 😅

I suppose it'll be nice to have it portably.

I very surprised by Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker, I'm secretly sort of hoping that they make a sequel to that.

To the surprise of no one, really. Despite all the issues, Pokemon on name brand alone tends to sell well. Even their underperforming titles, still sold gangbusters.

I went into this game after the bloodbath with the bugs, glitches etc, and I surprisingly enjoyed it more than I thought I would.

This game was just okay. I don't know, anime games are very hit or miss with their quality these days.

It always annoyed me how spread out these games are on consoles. Sure, you can play the entire series on PC but not everyone is going to do that.

How the Sky Trilogy has not been ported to something else yet to me is baffling. Especially given how unlike other franchises Trails really benefits from experiencing older titles.

I love Powerwash Simulator! I wish the Switch release actually had a physical game cart though.

I mean the fact that its a download is just crap. I'll continue playing it on other platforms in the meantime.

I am surprised this wasn't a thing already, but glad it is now.

I would say wait for sale, but I don't know. With Nintendo and the way their games are priced? I won't be surprised if I have to wait a long time for it to even be half off.

I know its a long shot maybe, but I am sort of maybe hoping for a discount on the OLED when the next console is unveiled. Would love to get a deal.

Arceus was a lot of fun, I hope this is too.

Not many people played Paranormasight and Square giving it basically no advertising didn't help either.

That game deserves the world and more.

I didn't find it that bad, but I played the 3DS version. Maybe the original was 50x harder or something.

I don't need one since I'm pretty content with my LCD Steam Deck, but its nice enough I guess.

I was far more interested in the next Steam Deck, Steam Deck 2 or whatever they may call it.

I would not be surprised if this ends up Japan only.

@AstroTheGamosian I'm surprised how well mine has held up. Sure, it has a few scratches but the only problem I've really had is Joycon drift like many people.

I sent mine to Nintendo though and they fixed it. Zelda is one of my fav franchises, alongside Metroid and Fire Emblem so the only one I was tempted by was the TOTK OLED.

I feel like considering I haven't bought a new Switch since I buy the original one in 2017 I should just wait for whatever the next console is at this point.

I dunno if I want to get this on PS5 or Switch. All my other Star Ocean games are on PlayStation so I might just do that.

@luckyseven Mario is a very underrated franchise. They should make more Mario games.

Mario Kart 8, truly the most underrated Switch title.

I'm getting sick of this happening on Switch, but this game is shafted on other platforms too.

At least on PS5, the disc doesn't even have all the data. You have to download the rest as well.

If we get rare replay I sure hope every game is on cart and not half of them being download codes, but maybe that's being optimistic.

Its a shame that:

A. Not all games are on the cartridge, which sucks. Similarly to some other collections on Switch.

B. MGS 2 and 3 won't be 60 fps. I mean these are decade old games, it sucks that this is the only platform they won't be 60 on.

I would say I want to wait for a discount, but how much will this game actually be discounted and how long would that take.

I usually wait to buy all my stuff on sale unless its a collector's edition or something

Will be picking this up on a sale, but seems perfect for the Switch. Doesn't look super demanding so should run well too.

@AndyMcDonald I simply do not think Gamefreak is capable enough of delivering a full focused 3D Pokemon game on the level of a Xenoblade Chronicles or something.

From what I have seen from the latest entries anyway.

I really honestly do not remember much about X and Y. I found them to be simply okay. It being in 3D was neat, but I don't know.

I feel like Pokemon has struggled generally speaking in terms of its mainline games to look really appealing in 3D compared to the 2D sprites. Some things didn't quite make the transition or look a bit odd.

There was a GameStop clearance sale goin on and that was pretty good if you could find stock in your area.

Wonder and Sonic for sure. I already have the MGS collection on PS3 and the whole thing isn't even on the cartridge if I wanted a portable version. Bummer.
