@NEStalgia That's my point, 32 gb cart is available but no one is using it because it costs too much. Gamers will have to pay at least an extra $10 for it. The game publishers are not willing to subsidise, and making their customer pay for it will decrease sales.

@twztid13 Just search for NES or SNES roms, you will find hundreds of websites hosting them. They have been there since the late 90s, archived like a library. They were not as sought after as they used to be.

Nintendo sue these sites once in a while, but the roms will always be freely available on the internet. Nintendo knew that, but it's a routine they did for many years. They sued the one in US because the law allows them to... those in Russia, China or South America are immune.

The game is not really that good. It's an OK game with dull voice acting. Maybe in Japanese it sounds ok, but in English they are pretty cheesy. Reviewers are hyping this game like it's the best JRPG... it's the nostalgia talking, their 11 years old self were reviewing the game.

You basically just find the weak point of every monsters/bosses you met and spammed the attack. Once you know their weak points you repeat the same fight over and over, happily grinding the game into powder.

@NEStalgia No games on the market use 32 gb carts even though it's available that's why Nintendo didn't released 64 gb carts. LA Noire can easily fit into a 32gb cart but this dev decided to put 14gb in the cart and let the buyer download the other 14gb online.

Those old retro roms are worthless, it's the Wii U, 3DS and Switch roms that people are actively stealing from Nintendo's server and there's nothing Nintendo can do about it due to the way their system were setup.

Mario Kart 9 can includes a new mechanic: riding on water. MK7 introduced gliding which was extended with MK8, now they can combined the gameplay of WaveRace with the new MarioKart.

This type of game is in between a mobile and console game. That's why it suits the Switch so well... a device in between a mobile and console.

Bravely Default looks more impressive in Stereo 3D. Octopath Traveller uses depth blur to compensate the lack of 3D depth, while it looks pretty it still didn't surpassed what they did with BD.

Gorogoa is the most unique game in the eShop. It changes your perception.

Sky Rogue is the most hidden gem. This game proves that graphics is not everything. It's more fun than any flight shooting game, I wish they made one for VR.

It will make your Switch so ugly that no one will want to steal it.

BotW is 14GB, this trilogy (13GB) should easily fit in a 16GB cart, unless they are cheapskate and decided to use a 8GB cart.

A lot of people thought the Virtual Boy is VR, it's NOT. It's just a stereoscopic 3D display, it doesn't surrounds you. The 3DS is the modern progression of Virtual Boy. Nintendo has never done anything with real VR.

FMV games can be fun if they are high quality, not these B grade movies... If a game is all about the story, then the script, acting and directing has to be top notch.

The crack is very common to plastic. All Nintendo portable system suffered from it, exposure to the sun and weather effects cause it.

BTW, the cost of the Joy-Cons + Dock + Adapter = 60% of the retail price for a new Switch. So the tablet itself cost around 40% of what you paid. Rather than repair, ask Nintendo to replace with a new one.

@Morlock5K Those exposed pins on the rail and the Joy-Con can easily be hidden with a new design: like a tiny plastic hatch door that opens when the Joy-Con slides in to make the connection.

All Nintendo needs to do is replaced the right Joy-Con with a new design where the pins are not exposed. Problem solved. Stability relied on those 10 pins of the Joy-Con, so long as users can't molest them, no hack can be achieved.

Makes you wondered... why they even bothered? It takes time, money and a lot of effort to make a game, but why are these people making these type of game? Why are they wasting their time and money?

The so called adventure mode is just a bunch of mini-games tied together with dialogs between characters.

I'd rather there's no adventure/story mode, with just a selection of mini games like they used to do. It makes replaying those mini-games easier.

@The_Mysteron Years ago before Unity or Unreal existed, all game devs including indies built their own engines. And years before that, all game devs know how to code in Assembler.

So you see, over the years devs are getting lazier and dumber, only using high level coding languages and not knowing how to optimise performance with machine codes.

The easier the toolkit, the less the user knows what's running under the hood. The less they know, they less they can fixed the problem and improved performance. This is the reason for so many delays when using 3rd party engines, they are struggling to fix slow frame rate and loading time.
