@EvrgrnCmln 3DS got a host of developers supporting them right from launch: with Capcom, Namco, Konami, Square Enix, Level 5, etc all having launch titles. They are not ports, but new games tailored made for 3DS.

In Japan, making exclusive games is still a thing. Euro and US companies like EA, Bethesda, Ubisoft, Blizzard, etc all came from a PC background, they are used to doing multi-platform.

Exclusive games are always better, more optimised and make good use of the hardware gimmick.

3DS has Monster Hunter, RE: Revelations, Professor Layton, Phoenix Wright, Zero Escape, Bravely Default, Shin Megami Tensei, Persona Q, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, Etrian Odyssey, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Fantasy Life, etc... These are all made specifically for 3DS. None of the games you listed above were made specifically for Switch.

Yeah but you can lean back or lie on the bed to play a sims game, but they really should add touchscreen control.

The display suffered the same problem as Darkest Dungeon: some of the fonts are so small you can't read it in portable mode.

@Tibob My point is: Switch has very few 3rd party support (non-indie), it's not any better than the Wii U. Without the indies Switch will look like a desert, that's why Nintendo is doing so many indies promotions... they even said in the last video that indies were responsible for Switch's success.

No Starcraft then give us Warcraft. Or a new RTS and named it Switchcraft.

Prison Architect is better than I thought.

I forgot to secure my prison, so the guards handcuffed my prisoners and won't let them out of their cells. They can't go to the canteen for food... they were cursing me 24/7. Eventually I fixed the security problem, and when they were let out of their cell, they ran away through the front gate and never to be seen again. My guards are useless.

Octopath Traveller is the only non indie (3rd party) new game for Switch this year, no one seems to notice that... and people were wondering why this game sells so well.

9/10 is too high. This is a mobile game that can be play using the touchscreen. The gameplay is too simplistic (not enough depth), it's similar to Pool Panic: looks fun in the trailer but not so fun when playing it.

This could be the first game released in the West using a 32 gb cart. Currently, the only other game using a 32 gb cart is Dragon Quest Heroes 1 & 2 in Japan.

@Rayquaza2510 18gb is still too big. No games were using more than 16GB cartridge. With DLC and patches added in, the Definitive GTA V will be twice as big.

@Frendo PS3 is 230 gigaflop, Switch is 1teraflop. It's technically 4x faster.

GTA V is a PS3 game, of course it will run on Switch. The problem is the cartridge size.
