Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (6th December)

Nep-Nep-Freak

Hello again, y'all! I'm a bit late since I forgot to check NL earlier this morning, but this weekend I'm playing:

Switch:
Animal Crossing New Horizons
Super Mario Maker 2: just a bit more Course World to reach the coveted 100 hour mark.
PS4:
Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online: about eight hours in now, all of my eight party members are above level 10, but my favorite one that I've used the whole time is well on its way to level 20 (🤣). I also unlocked a new area on the map called Arodie Caverns.

Re: Talking Point: Six Months Since Launch, How Would You Rate Switch 2?

Nep-Nep-Freak

The console itself: 10/10
Some of the situations surrounding the console like Game Key Cards and continued cancelation of Japanese games like Hyperdimension Neptunia: 0/10

Both combined together to sum up my review of the entire Gen so far (generous score): 7/10

I love the device itself, but some of the other things surrounding it are meh. But I still intend to get one, hopefully next year.

Re: Anniversary: Monolith Soft Celebrates Xenoblade Chronicles 2 With A Post, But We're Desperate For A Switch 2 Revamp

Nep-Nep-Freak

Honestly, all of the Xenoblade Chronicles games look pretty interesting and I want to play at least some of them at some point (starting with the Definitive Edition of the original one), but Xenoblade Chronicles 2 looks like one of the more interesting ones, especially with people saying that it's more anime-inspired than the others. I hope to play it... someday 🤣.

Hello again, y'all! This weekend I'm playing:

Switch:
Animal Crossing New Horizons: the road to affording the second house storage increase continues. I will also use the codes to get Nintendo's new holiday clothing custom designs.
Super Mario Maker 2: I uploaded another level yesterday, you can check out the details on that in the Mario Maker 2 level sharing thread.
PS4:
Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online: bought it on the PS Store Black Friday Sale for $9.00 and played it for an hour yesterday. Think Hyrule Warriors but Neptunia and with way fewer monsters. This game will be my main focus this weekend, and probably until Christmas.

@vio

"I've never wanted anything banned more than AI in my entire life with anyone caught using that vile crap sentenced to a mandatory minimum 10 years in prison."

Listen, I'm completely fine with people stating their dislike of AI, but isn't wishing prison on people who are not even physically causing harm to someone whatsoever a little much? I'm not saying your comment should be removed or anything, because I'm a proponent of honest, open conversation.

But if you were up for election as a leader with that view you would not get my vote whatsoever. Have a nice day 😀.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (22nd November)

Hello again, y'all! This weekend I'm playing:

Switch:
Animal Crossing New Horizons: I'm getting close to being able to afford the second house storage upgrade for 700,000 bells. My younger sister and I have already dumped over 20 hours in this game since January's update was announced.
PS4:
Super Neptunia RPG: all of my party members are now slightly above or almost at level 60 and the next part of the main story is to take on the headquarters of the Bombyx Mori (the bad guy organization), so I'll possibly beat this game by the end of next week. It all depends on how much more sidequests and grinding I want to do.

@Kraven, I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you feel better soon.

Re: Kirby Air Riders In-Game Events Are Planned To Run For A Year After Launch

Nep-Nep-Freak

Well, I suppose it's not too bad as long as all of the events repeat yearly (like for example, Nintendo Switch Sports) but still, I don't understand why so many games need to do events like this, especially ones that lock exclusive items behind it.

Before anyone replies to me, yes, I understand it drives player engagement. I just prefer games that don't push that kind of thing.

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Kirby Air Riders?

Nep-Nep-Freak

I absolutely love everything I've seen about this game, but unfortunately I don't have a Switch 2 yet and might not at this point, there are just some things going on with that thing that I refuse to support if at all possible 😢. But if I ever do get a Switch 2, a physical copy of this is one of the first games I'm getting for it.
