Honestly, all of the Xenoblade Chronicles games look pretty interesting and I want to play at least some of them at some point (starting with the Definitive Edition of the original one), but Xenoblade Chronicles 2 looks like one of the more interesting ones, especially with people saying that it's more anime-inspired than the others. I hope to play it... someday 🤣.
Switch: Animal Crossing New Horizons: the road to affording the second house storage increase continues. I will also use the codes to get Nintendo's new holiday clothing custom designs. Super Mario Maker 2: I uploaded another level yesterday, you can check out the details on that in the Mario Maker 2 level sharing thread. PS4: Cyberdimension Neptunia: 4 Goddesses Online: bought it on the PS Store Black Friday Sale for $9.00 and played it for an hour yesterday. Think Hyrule Warriors but Neptunia and with way fewer monsters. This game will be my main focus this weekend, and probably until Christmas.
It's still interesting that this game got literally nothing except a few bug fix updates for years, and then started getting events again out of nowhere about two years ago 🤣.
Sounds good, hopefully NL finds a good person for the job! I'm a bit busy with school still and just recently started my own channel and I won't be an official "adult" for about another year and a half so I won't sign up for it, but best of luck! 🫡
Interesting. I wonder if I could do that for GOG games too, since I've been looking into both GOG and Steam and think that I prefer GOG for a few reasons.
Nice that there's some more free content coming soon for the game, hopefully there's also an eventual cartridge revision with all the updates when they are finished.
"I've never wanted anything banned more than AI in my entire life with anyone caught using that vile crap sentenced to a mandatory minimum 10 years in prison."
Listen, I'm completely fine with people stating their dislike of AI, but isn't wishing prison on people who are not even physically causing harm to someone whatsoever a little much? I'm not saying your comment should be removed or anything, because I'm a proponent of honest, open conversation.
But if you were up for election as a leader with that view you would not get my vote whatsoever. Have a nice day 😀.
Switch: Animal Crossing New Horizons: I'm getting close to being able to afford the second house storage upgrade for 700,000 bells. My younger sister and I have already dumped over 20 hours in this game since January's update was announced. PS4: Super Neptunia RPG: all of my party members are now slightly above or almost at level 60 and the next part of the main story is to take on the headquarters of the Bombyx Mori (the bad guy organization), so I'll possibly beat this game by the end of next week. It all depends on how much more sidequests and grinding I want to do.
@Kraven, I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you feel better soon.
Good grief, some companies just can't let people have a bit of fun. And this is so tame compared to other stuff. If some of the stuff on Animal Crossing custom designs are a rated R film, then these machines are comparable to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
Laughs in offline play machine making when he finally gets the game
Well, I suppose it's not too bad as long as all of the events repeat yearly (like for example, Nintendo Switch Sports) but still, I don't understand why so many games need to do events like this, especially ones that lock exclusive items behind it.
Before anyone replies to me, yes, I understand it drives player engagement. I just prefer games that don't push that kind of thing.
Man, I absolutely hate it when Japanese games don't get official American releases, Japanese media is way better than American, just saying. Also a shame that most gaming companies these days censor American Japanese game releases, but that's a topic for another time.
He's definitely not wrong. I'm not saying that there aren't any people not on the internet that dislike AI (there definitely are, considering how many people are out there), but the majority don't care as much as the diehards like us do. It's the same situation as Game Key Cards, really.
Interesting, I don't know if I'll make it live, but I'll definitely watch it since Legends Z-A is one of the games I want to get in the near future even if it's just the Switch 1 version.
I absolutely love everything I've seen about this game, but unfortunately I don't have a Switch 2 yet and might not at this point, there are just some things going on with that thing that I refuse to support if at all possible 😢. But if I ever do get a Switch 2, a physical copy of this is one of the first games I'm getting for it.
One of my favorite Wii games on my family's Wii. Never really played it much though and haven't touched it in years. My favorite was the running game though.
I don't have a pride flag on my porch, but as long as Mega Starmie doesn't Mega Kick me (or anyone else for that matter) for not having any then we're good 😀.
Thanks for the reads, they're good like usual. As for my favorite franchise that ticks the most marks for me, it used to be Pokémon all the way. These days, Neptunia has been starting to compete with it a lot more as of late. There are also other franchises that I love as well 😀.
@Samalik, I remember having a discussion with you about this a couple months ago, actually. If I enjoy the games as much as I think I will, I'll probably end up double dipping for the Playasia Switch versions as well, to support the series more.
This stuff is what I dislike about current Nintendo of America. Not the "Switch 2 price is too high!", or "Pokémon Z-A has the worst graphics ever!", but this crap. If anything is making me not want to get a Switch 2, it's Game Key Cards and situations like this. I already got a used PS4 (my first ever non-Nintendo console, btw) just to play the canceled Hyperdimension Neptunia games and do not regret it in the slightest.

Re: Japanese Charts: Well, Look At Who's Snuck Back Into First Place
@Duncanballs, what do you know, I got my own used PS4 Pro at the end of October. 🤣 So you're definitely not alone.
Re: Nintendo Music "Special Release" Adds Seven Tracks From Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
Definitely going to listen to these a bit later. Also happy for anyone who wanted profile icons for this game.
Re: The Game Awards 2025: Time, Date & How To Watch
I'm not usually interested in what's on offer here, but if I have spare time while it's going on then I'll watch it live.
Re: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Has Been Updated To Ver. 1.1.0, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Yet another day 1 patch 😑. Not surprised at all.
Moving on with my day...

CUSTOM ITEMS?!
About dang time 🎉!
Re: Pokémon Legends: Z-A DLC Is Introducing A New Type Of Mega Evolution
WHAT THE-
This design looks awesome as heck. New Mega for my favorite Pokémon, I'll definitely take it.
Calling it now: the Pokémon Company does a Z Mega for Charizard too, since everyone knows that the company loves giving their boy Charizard new forms.
Re: Pokémon Legends: Z-A's Next Mystery Gift Code Event Is Now Live
When I actually play the game I will do this for sure!
Re: Nintendo Announces 50th Maximus Cup Event For Tetris 99
HECK YES.
I was suggesting that something like this would be happening in the NSO thread, and here it is.
I will definitely be participating.
Re: New 'Sonic Universe' Movie Spin-Off Announced For 2028
Interesting. I liked the other movies, so I'll probably watch it.

Yes, more fixes. Keep them coming, Nintendo!

Super Mario Maker 2: I uploaded another level yesterday, you can check out the details on that in the Mario Maker 2 level sharing thread.

Re: Nintendo's Dishing Out In-Game Codes For Festive Animal Crossing: New Horizons Sweaters
Sounds great, I've already been playing to prepare for the update so I'll make sure to get these the next time I log in!
Re: Super Mario Run Scores A Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2 Event
It's still interesting that this game got literally nothing except a few bug fix updates for years, and then started getting events again out of nowhere about two years ago 🤣.
Re: Japanese Charts: Kirby Air Riders Is Off To A Flying Start
Nice to see Kirby Air Riders do well, it really looks like an incredible experience.
Also interesting to see PS4 also make numbers, even though those numbers are a bit small.

SWITCH 2 WILL BECOME MORE STABLE THEN THE ECONOMY, MARK MY WORDS
Re: Nintendo Has Scheduled Maintenance For 3DS Later Today
Probably nothing super big, is my guess. Still interesting that they're doing this for the 3DS though, all these years later 😊.

It was pretty hard to decide this week, I ended up choosing America this week but they all look pretty awesome.
Re: Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble DLC Is Getting Delisted A Year After Release
This really is a crying shame, I hope everyone who wants these is able to get them at least.

Re: Kirby Air Riders Players Are Creating 'Micro Bikini' Machines, But Nintendo's Having None Of It
@PrincessyPeachy, you could do that in the older CoD games (haven't played a single one to this day)?
Damn. That sounds like a lot of fun.

Re: Switch Port Specialist Panic Button Reveals It Helped Upgrade Multiple First-Party Games For Switch 2
Sounds great, from what I've heard about these updates they are awesome.
Also nice to hear that Nintendo didn't have to use precious development time for the next games to focus on all the updates on the previous ones.
Re: Kirby Air Riders' Day One Update Has Arrived, Here Are The Full Patch Notes
Is that "Team Battle" in City Trial an offline or online thing? If it's offline and locked behind an update, that's concerning.
Re: Sorry Xillia 2, 'Tales Of Berseria' Is The Next Remaster From Bandai Namco

Re: Review: Kirby Air Riders (Switch 2) - Incredibly Chaotic, But Satisfyingly Deep & Rewarding Racing
Proof that the game is as awesome as I thought it was. If I ever get a Switch 2 someday, this will be a high priority purchase for me.
Re: Among Us X Stardew Valley Collab Now Live, Includes Free Stardew Cosmicube
Sounds interesting, and a good enough excuse to return to the game once more after a hiatus of several months, especially since it's free.

Re: Poll: What Do You Make Of Link And Zelda's Live-Action Looks?
Overall, they look good! Nice to see Link wearing green for the first time in a while.

Re: Best Zelda Games Of All Time
My favorite Zelda games in no particular order:
Ocarina of Time
Breath of the Wild
Tears of the Kingdom
Link's Awakening (2019)
Echoes of Wisdom
I'm also considering maybe eventually picking up Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition on cartridge if I have the time and money for it.
