@FishyS, I agree that the tool training on copyrighted data is something that isn't great and needs to be dealt with, I just don't want the cool things that other people create with the generation to be impacted. The way I kind of see it though, is that the AI training with what it finds on the internet is no different from what humans do, just saying. Though you do raise a good point 😃.

The game looks absolutely fire and I'm super excited for it! .... except those Kalos starter Megas being locked behind competitive play. 😨 Even worse than the limited time events for Scarlet and Violet, which involved Pokémon that could at least be transferred into the game through Pokémon HOME. 😢

@Daniel36, how does OpenAI make money off of it exactly? I heard something about a subscription fee, but that's other people paying OpenAI to use their generation service. That's not really any different from someone paying an art supplies company for art supplies, and then drawing a picture of Mario and sharing that art on social media, not getting any money off of it whatsoever. The only difference is that someone is using a purchased AI model instead of purchased art supplies.

If those people aren't making money off of their AI stuff they make, who cares? It's no different from fanfiction that borrows other franchises but doesn't make any money off of it. Should fanfiction be taken down as well? I think all of this stuff is really cool and funny, especially the Private Pikachu one, and I might want to make my own someday. If Nintendo sues them, I'll buy less Nintendo products in response.

Looks like a nice update, but this has become yet another game that if I get this game I'll be getting it digitally instead of physically unless they do a cartridge revision, because I refuse to have a physical copy with actual game content locked behind updates (a few small bug fix updates and improvements on Switch 2 are fine).

These look pretty cool, but probably expensive (just like all other collaboration shoes lol 🤣). I'm doing quite good with my own shoes, but hopefully anyone who wants these can get them.

@Truegamer79, it's specific to the Switch 1, but it is playable on Switch 2 via backwards compatibility and does have a free update that adds 4K compatibility when playing on Switch 2. Hope this helps.

I'm kind of surprised that there needs to be an update, but thankfully all the actual game content that isn't bug fixes is on the cartridge, and hopefully it remains that way.

Definitely getting Pokémon, maybe getting the Galaxy games in a few years, most likely getting Kirby Air Riders sometime after I get a Switch 2, and Hyrule Warriors and Dragon Quest also look awesome but I'll have to pass on those due to lack of time and money.

Not surprised at all, it certainly doesn't have the same quality as the console Nintendo games for sure. I personally give it a 7/10 since it's worth picking up and putting it down for a battle or two whenever I have a few spare minutes, and the story is interesting (I've already finished the light part of the first chapter). I probably won't play it often though. It's already pretty much become another Mario Kart Tour (a 7/10 game that I play on vacations when I don't have my Switch) for me.

We got an indie game getting an animated adaptation confirmed before the game's release before GTA 6.

Dragon Quest XI S Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition: The next thing I need to do is get the sea gates open at Puerto Valor, but I've been keeping myself busy with some sidequests I missed lately.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate: Just grinding some more spirits on Spirit Board (I'd really like to get all spirits, though I don't know if that's happening any time soon 🤣). I also got first place once in an online tournament that started yesterday.
Fire Emblem Shadows: started this on launch day and I'm almost done with the light story and a little bit through the dark story, and all of my 8 disciples are at least level 3. This game might end up becoming one of my usuals. We'll see in a few weeks.

So their "sales strategy" involves less physical only people (I'm technically not physical only, but I refuse to buy a single Game Key Card because it has the disadvantages of both digital and physical) buying their games? Okay.

@MSaturn, the utopian digital future (in terms of gaming) arriving faster is another thing I'm worried about as well in terms of Game Key Cards.

Trails in the Sky does look awesome, those sales on both consoles are absolutely deserved! I also wonder if there will be an NL review for it soon 😃.

A limited time expansion for the first time? I'll make sure to collect as many of the cards as possible then while I can. Also... the ending of this expansion coincides with the date of the first anniversary 🤔.

Definitely more reason to get the game digitally if I do eventually get this game (unless Japan's cartridges eventually get a revision). Nonetheless, the new content looks cool 😃!

It's a shame that the game is getting delayed even further, but hopefully that means the game is awesome.

Since it's free I'll try it out, though I don't play a ton of mobile games so I might be dropping it after a bit. Then again, I still keep Mario Kart Tour around just for traveling, so who knows 🤔

I absolutely LOVED the first movie and am looking forward to the Galaxy one. If I ever have kids someday, these will be some of the first movies they watch, mark my words.

Game does look good (though cut content is never the greatest) though it's not for me because I'm busy with other games and tactical ones aren't my favorite, but hopefully the players like it.

Pokémon visuals are never the best, so that's expected, and the real-time combat does look like it's worth a try 😃.

Hopefully Nintendo doesn't go after this one either, they already go after too many games as it is. Competition is good.

Because of stuff like this being a part of updates, if I ever got this game, it would be digitally.

It's a shame that it's being canceled for now, I'm really sorry for anyone who was interested in this. It's always disappointing when any game release gets delayed or canceled.

@Jhena, I agree with this very much. Even though Square Enix makes some absolutely stupid decisions sometimes (but don't we all? 🤣), I know that basically any mainline Dragon Quest game will just be some simple classic turn-based JRPG goodness 🥰. I would play more of them if I had the time and money.

Though one thing I am getting more worried about is what @MyMemory pointed out about censorship (not censorship like government censorship but more like self-censorship). I do worry that one day, this will completely ruin the series' unique identity.

Based on what I've seen and heard of the console itself, the reward is absolutely deserved, even there are a few things related to the Switch 2 that I don't like.

Some people online are saying that this and other factors are pointing to a Switch 2 Ocarina of Time remake next year. I'm taking it all with a grain of salt, but it it will be interesting to see the outcome of the situation.

Well, at least they announced the shutdown a year and a half in advance and a decent amount of offline features will continue to be available, but this is one of the many reasons why I'm not interested in EA sports games.

Personally, as I said before, I think the best situation in regard to difficulty is to keep the game the same as it is but add an optional easier difficulty for the not as experienced players (like me 🤣)

Ever since young Pauline was announced in a trailer, I automatically assumed that young Pauline is Pauline from Mario Odyssey and that Bananza is an Odyssey prequel. I'm not changing my mind 😃.

Those sales for Trails in the Sky look pretty decent for a JRPG in the UK 😃! Still interested in that one.
