I finished the game and never experienced any issues, aside from a few typos.

@BANJO I've been playing it since last night and I have to say it really is a great game. The online battle mode is surprisingly addictive. And the seasonal rewards are a nice incentive to keep playing.

@YunoboCo They also skipped The Thousand Year Door. It really makes me wonder what their reasoning is regarding which games will get featured on Tetris 99.

@BANJO I saw a few snippets on their Twitter page and I thought it looks great, and I've had it pre-ordered for a while; but this comes from someone who loved Banana Blitz and even 3D.

@GrailUK So far it's been getting mostly 8s and a 9 from Game Rant. I've already got it pre-loaded because I just know it's gonna be good.

It's also Super Monkey Ball's anniversary today!

They did a great job with these remakes. I just got it along with Spyro for only $26. Such a great deal.

I'm a little upset that we got a new Zelda instead of the port I was hoping for. Yes, I am part of the problem.

But it really was a great show. Mario and Luigi: Brothership was the highlight of the Direct for me.

Even as a kid I thought Mr. Iwata was so cool; he really loved Nintendo.

I hope everyone who's ever complained about the direction Intelligent Systems has taken with the Paper Mario series has already bought a copy of the Thousand Year Door remake.

@Sabruka I'm still getting the base game, but definitely passing on the DLC (for now).

A proper release of Super Mario Sunshine or Galaxy/Galaxy 2 on Switch and Donkey Kong 64 on NSO; that's all I need.

Maybe it's just me, but I've never found myself playing a board game and thinking "man, this would be a lot more fun if it were on a screen".

I hate how they make you feel like you're buying an incomplete edition if you don't pay an extra $20.

If Wind Waker is retro, then what is A Link to the Past? Putting them in the same category just doesn't seem right. At this point the term retro became more of a style rather than anything to do with age.

@Bydlak Some people will assure you the Switch version is inferior because it runs at 30FPS, and they'll do so with a straight face too.

I'm playing it for the first time, and 23 hours and 36 minutes in, it's becoming one of my favorite games of all time. I loved Paper Mario 64, but this is on another level. I just hope they fix that typo (searching Pedal Meadows) on the Sound Gallery soon.

All I'm going to say is I'm glad they've redesigned AiAi so he doesn't look like... that anymore.

This and Metroid Prime Remastered are perfect examples of what a game rerelease should be.

@Clyde_Radcliffe People keep bringing up the "20 year old game" line, but that's completely irrelevant when the game has been completely remade for Switch, which makes it just another Switch game that runs at 30 frames per second.

Tough times for Mario & Luigi fans. Now we get excited when Nintendo acknowledges the existence of the series.

I skipped Breath of the Wild, so Tears of the Kingdom is 100% new to me, and it has become one of my favorite games of all time.

This reminds me of the first ever Box Art Brawl. It was late 2006 and my mom was getting me a game for my birthday. We went to the game store and I narrowed it down to two options. I held both M&L Partners in Time, and Animal Crossing Wild World in my hands, and I thought I'd decide based on which cover I liked better. Needless to say I became an Animal Crossing fan on that day.

Tears of the Kingdom is the game I used to dream of as a kid. Definitely the best game of 2023, and top 5 of all time.

It seems like some folks already made up their minds about a game that was announced less than 24 hours ago and we know next to nothing about. I think blind haters are actually worse than blind fanboys.

I'll be happy if it's at least as fun as Banana Blitz.

I'm not joking when I say I'd pay $60 for a HeartGold/Soul Silver port on Switch.

Black and White remakes would be enough to give Switch another stellar year.

So the best game on this list only gets an 8.9 from users? I prefer lists made by people who know what they're talking about.
