@Mana_Knight Well, there's the Jamboree Buddy games which take a lot of time, a bunch of unskippable cutscenes, more stuff going on in each turn. It makes a game feel like some kind of commitment. Meanwhile you can play a 15 turn game in 45 minutes in Superstars.

@StewdaMegaManNerd I see what you're saying. I put Jamboree down after 20 hours and I simply went and bought Superstars and I like it a lot more.

As for Mario Kart World, as long as the Grand Prix and Online work as expected I'll be happy. I'm looking at Free Roam as just an extra mode.

@Ade117 I like the boards too, but there's just too much going on and it all moves so slowly. And you're right about the Jamboree Buddies, although I do enjoy their minigames.

Am I the only one who prefers Superstars over Jamboree? It's unbelievable how quicker the games are in Superstars. 1 hour and a half for a 10 turn game in Jamboree is just insane to me.

@Markatron84 I got it a few months ago and I haven't had any problems, and I actually love it so much I immediately bought the DLC after beating the main story.

If I listened to the people on the Internet, I would've never experienced titles like Pokemon Violet, or The Origami King, which have become some of my favorite games of all time.

The colors in the Japanese cover give me such a nice feeling.

My niece just turned 3 and she is totally obsessed with Princess Peach (and Bowser). She got the Peach game for her birthday and she can't stop playing it.

I played and finished Sonic Generations for the first time and it immediately became my favorite Sonic game. I just started Shadow Generations and it's somehow even better.

@DadJKP But that's what I find interesting. As far as I'm aware, Nintendo has never publicly acknowledged Vivian's purported identity. And many people find it offensive to categorize these subjects as "political". If what you say is true, and Nintendo stays out of it because they don't want to get "political", that would be a big blow to the LGBT community.

I'm really curious about whether Nintendo will acknowledge this nomination at all.

One of the few times I'm glad I live in this third world city (LA).

Coming from the Wii U, it's a bit surreal how the Switch and its software are doing so well even just a few weeks before its successor is announced. I really hope the Switch 2 is alos a huge success.

@NinChocolate It's pretty accessible. You'll get used to the gameplay and controls within minutes. It's one of the best games in the series, and it's still getting updates with more content. Highly recommended.

53 Games and 1,677 hours. My most played game was Tears of the Kingdom.

@Jhena Banana Rumble is definitely one of my top games this year. The new update added a lot of content too.

@AlleyCat Yeah, I saw that too, and I can't help but find it a little insulting. Same thing with Super Monkey Ball Banana Rumble; got it on day one for $50 only to see it at half the price 2 weeks later.

That's a lot of DVD players.

@ancientlii An X user who finished the game said it has the best story of any Mario RPG game and it took them over 55 hours to finish it.

@The-Chosen-one Mario & Luigi as a Smash character is an excellent idea and now I'm upset I hadn't thought about it before.

I really love this game, but I did find a few very annoying bugs during my playthrough. I'm about to start the New Game+ and I hope the update offers an improved experience.

Immediately made my new Mario icon. This game is giving me GameCube vibes in the best possible way.

Loved this article; the way it reads made me reminisce of the mid 2000s Nintendo magazines. As for the game, you don't have to sell me on it, I'm already getting it day one.

@BANJO It's pretty good. I loved the original, but I'm enjoying Rebrushed a lot more. The new camera is a blessing.

In Animal Crossing New Horizons they just say "choose your setting" and then both genders are exactly the same.

I find the love/hate relationship many Nintendo fans have with the company quite weird and telling.

When you think about it, it's crazy how much we owe to this man.

I love the series, but I simply can't stand Layton and his "I'm so gentlemanly" schtick.

What's with this fixation on performance these days? I remember plenty of hiccups during gameplay in the GameCube years and nobody made a big fuss about it. Now every conversation around a new game has to be all about "buttery smooth 60fps" "stutters here and there" "disappointing performance".

Maybe it's just me, but with thousands of hours played on Switch, performance hasn't taken anything away from my experience.

If the combat is good enough I might just get this.

@PikminMarioKirby That's what I really wanted to see; thanks for sharing! This game just keeps getting better. I hadn't been this excited for a new Mario Party since 8 was announced for the Wii.

@the_beaver It is really good. I've been playing it for about one hour and I haven't encountered any performance issues. I enjoyed the original on Wii, but the camera was a bit of a pain, and from what I've played so far, it seems like that issue has been fixed.

Can't wait to start playing it today!

I swear everything looked better on our 29" Sony TV back in the mid 2000s. Playing on an LCD screen after that felt like a downgrade.

@GoldenBot I'd really appreciate it if you let me in on how to dodge 3 lightnings, 2 blue shells and a ton of green shells launched by a geometry scholar during the same race.

@scoot So I'm not only me who feels like the game absolutely hates the player? They make a game with perfect gameplay, and they do everything they can to keep you from enjoying it; it's insane!

I hate to say it, but I hope it fails miserably; otherwise it would create a terrible precedent for the industry.

A single player story mode would be great!

Epic Mickey, Super Mario Party Jamboree, and Mario & Luigi: Brothership are my most anticipated games for the rest of the year.

All I really want is for Toad's Midway Madness to make a comeback. Hopefully they bring it back as DLC or something.
