Looks awesome, but sounds a tad too small to be used ptractically if not hooked up to a TV. Nice though, I may pick up this and the SNES Classic to sit nicely next to my Genesis Mini when that arrives.

@1UP_MARIO Same. I used to shop at Game exclusively for this kind of thing, but since they slap another £5 on top of their online prices at retail I have since boycotted them and preordered everything on Amazon.

I’m of the days when independent game retailers were rife, and to see this vampiric entity dominate the physical retail space is depressing. I’ll never forget picking up the Japanese version of Final Fight One from my local store, they were some great times.

I’m looking forward to this game, it’s been a while since I purchased a sports title (not sure if WWE counts).

I see people are still whining about ports.......

Lol, no. There’s huge differences between the products for a start, you know, seeing how one is a dedicated gaming device and the other a mobile phone/tablet accessory. This isn’t about WikiPad, as some seem to be suggesting.

Captain Toad, Tropical Freeze & Hyrule Warrirors are all firsts for me, never got to play them on Wii U so I'm in. Mario Tennis is a definite too.

Wolfenstein II is on lock, as is Dark Souls should it ever appear.

There's also a fair few smaller games I am interested in.

@Menchi187 Yeah, whatever. Sony have been involved with Shenmue since they announced 3. Of course they want this kept off Switch, it’s kicking PS4’s arse in Japan right now and there is literally no reason to not do it. Like I said above, this whole ‘Sony isn’t involved’ crap is getting old. Of course they are.

Sony money strikes again. I can’t think of any other feasible reason for this to be kept off Switch, especially seeing how it’s doing so well in Japan and XBONE is tanking hard.

I purchased Doom at launch, and it looks as though history will repeat itself with this Bethesda title. I’ll just have to try and remember to turn chromatic abberation off this time, lol.

High street video game retail needs to die, in its current form at least. I had an idea to start a little something (and a plan to go along with it)a while back, but once the numbers were crunched it made zero sense to go up against companies that throw hundreds of thousands towards exclusivity deals and the marketing tripe that comes with them.

I’ve seen companies come and go, but a big chain like GAME will always survive like a fallout cockroach.

@Gamer83 Give up on MHW, no problem. MH Switch though, that’s a different conversation all together.

At this point, it would seem that a localised XX while fans wait for MH Switch is the way forward, but in the wake of MHW I just don’t know how feasible that is. Perhaps a limited run, or as previously suggested, digital only.

@Hughesy Well, the rumoured upcoming Switch title may be for you then. It retains most (if not all) of the original charm, if it is to be believed.

Would people still feel the same if they announced it for the West, but as an Eshop-only title?

@Biff_ARMStrong Well, apparently, they would rather put their resources to use working on a new Switch title than porting across XX or a gimped version of World. Their teams were really stretched already due to World being finalised and the Switch game commencing, so I guess those irons have to go somewhere.....

Take that as you will though, but the info came from the same guy who leaked XX on Switch and World early. He's clearly better in the know than some.

@dkxcalibur Probably didn't want to take away from MHW hype, not that it really would have made a dent. It's also probably too early for them to announce it, and Nintendo want to do it on their own terms.

By early, I'm not presuming it's super early in development (it is rumoured to keep all of the old mechanics, so.....). I'm just presuming that they are going to keep on keeping on with MHW for now.

Based on the rumours that circulated prior to the announcement of MHW, work has already begun on a Switch title and it with be in the vein of the Portable series.

I'd honestly rather have that than a gimped version of MHW.

Holy moly, I remember these books well. I had a variety of them, some fantasy, some sci-fi, but the Lone Wolf series was the best. Strange to see it brought up to date this way lol.

@YummyHappyPills And Smash Bros, when it was revealed that Bandai Namco were assisting in the development. For some reason, people seem to think that they have free reign over the title, and the team is made up of a bunch of noobs.

As far advised I’m concerned, this will do nought but accelerate the development process with the added manpower. Tanabe is still helming the project, other Nintendo team members will be alongside him, and given his reputation I expect a quality product at the other end.
