Re: Nintendo Direct Confirmed For 12th April - Focused on Splatoon 2, ARMS and More

Nintendo sure do like keeping me up at night.

Release dates would be awesome, they are 2 of the four games I have already paid off and simply await the rattle of the letterbox as they plummet towards my welcome mat. Splatoon 2 and ARMS will flesh out the collection quite nicely, then all I need will be Mario, Dragon Quest and the inevitable Pikmin sat on my shelves and I'll be in gaming heaven.

I've only just realised that there is an ignore function for the comments. I'm over the moon, as I can now block the constant flow of negativity from certain people.

Anyway, this is a great start. Yes, they need to keep the momentum going well into 2018 and beyond, but I athink they know this and they seem to be firing on all cylinders.

FWIW, I'm experiencing approximately 0 of the 'issues' that Switch supposedly has. I'm just enjoying the **** out of Zelda.

@Priceless_Spork Only in a literal sense, like how it's good to remember putting them on in the morning. It means 'not very good' I'm colloquial terms.

No surprise there though. Good ole Slig doesn't seem to enjoy much nowadays.

@NintySnesMan Lol, I've had zero issues with the joycon at all, and as for the scratching, well, that's what screen protectors are for. Also, being very careful when taking out/putting in the dock helps. Some people in full whining mode for no reason, probably because they are in full-on regret as now - after all their whining - the plan to walk in and grab one on launch day failed perhaps? Whatever reason, the constant commentary on the nit-picky things is getting beyond old. It's a great bit of kit, naysayers be damned to hell.

Re: Hardware Review: Nintendo Switch: Nintendo's Most Important Console Yet

@Jezebel95 You preordered it the other day or just finalised your order? Sorry to tell you, but in the case of the former you might/probably won't be getting one at launch. I'd ask the store what wave you are on - wave 1 & 2 are ready at my store for launch day, but wave 3 is still to be determined. They can't and won't give me a straight answer at all - typically crappy service from GAME.

Re: GameStop Director on Demand and Timing for the Switch

GAME may have preorders open, but I have it on good authority that they aren't guaranteed for launch day. Of course they have stock coming in all the time, but that's no indication of day-1 availability. Gameseek are about to open more orders at the sub- £200 price...... Good luck to all that ordered lol.

Re: Nintendo Switch Teardown Images Pop Up Online

@YANDMAN It would sure make sense in the light of the SCD patent. They could push 4K as well as a host of graphical improvements with a simple add-on. Whether they themselves see it as 'worth it' - or a source of confusion to the layman consumer - is another discussion all together.

@JaxonH This is something that I feel is often overlooked by people expecting miracles from Switch. The mere fact that it's punching anywhere near XBONE in power is a miracle in itself.

Agreed - come at me in 2 or 3 years with a 'Switch Pro', and I'll happily take one off their hands. Until then, I'll be quite happy with the affordable, accessible piece of tech they have put together for us now.
