@kobashi100 I paid £60. I've already played so many games that technically, if we take retail price into consideration, that what I'm now playing is free. Forza retails at £59.99. Psychonauts 2 around the same.

I'll take Prime if it's more than a simple upres for sure, otherwise I would have preferred the original trilogy in a higher res & frame rate.

Anyway, I think the concept is here to stay. I hope they iterate, improve and add to it as tome goes by, and the tablet is literally screaming for a top-notch screen with a VR attachment. Like, of all the obvious things in Obvious Land, it's the most glaringly obvious.

Hopefully they then made a lot of soups, stews and pies as that's a helluva lot of food waste if not 😬

I'd get one, but only if it's a BotW2 limited edition. That would be a nice way to hand my original Switch down and see out what's been one of my favourite consoles of all time.

I got one simply to keep it out of the hands of scalpers, same with the Amiibo. The book will be read when I've finished Dread, then I'll consider passing all but the actual game on at cost.

I'm not a collector, and will likely make my money back so win-win really.

*Edit: I love the way it's been packed too, the plastic outer shell is great for keeping it mint.

I mean, you'd think that this game wasn't the first new (as in, not a remake) 2D Metroid in 15 years, and it hasn't been met with highly positive impressions across the board...... Just kidding..... This is a shame, but pretty much everyone (well, the smart people anyway) knew this was likely to cause some trouble for the creator for this very reason. Hopefully he can salvage something from the ashes, it would be a shame if all of that beautiful work went to waste.

@The_New_Butler There is, his name is Mario. I have both the earlier Paw Patrol games, and they barely get a look-in since the eldest discovered Odyssey and 3D World.

@HamatoYoshi Yes, it's still coming. Considering how forthcoming Nintendo were about MP4's restart, I doubt they would sit on the cancellation of Bayo 4 and not announce it. Kamiya himself had commented on the progression. There is absolutely no need for speculation about cancellation, even if it is taking a ridiculously long time.

Good Direct, definitely more than a few things I'm interested in here.

I always pronounced it Fee, because in the Wii days there wasn't really anyone to tell me otherwise.

I'm not about to change that because I don't care enough to do so.

I'm confused as to why any Nintendo fan would be rustled by this, it's a portable PC that's built for playing PC/Steam games on the go. The same market that are notoriously passionate about playing their games at the highest possible fidelity, that have historically suffered under the weight of rapidly obsolete components and are currently suffering from a shortage in said parts due to the knock-on effects of the pandemic and crypto-digging or whatever....... It'll be interesting to see the real-world response to this system, although I'm sure it will find it's audience like any other mini PC.

This is absolutely no threat to the Switch, nor for arguably the largest portion of its market. There are some amazing games on the way, Nvidia are hard at work on the next SoC for the new system (and if certain very reliable sources are to be believed, it's finished and near ready for tape-out), and life is good if you just pull your head back from the turrets for a second and give over with all this console war b****cks. It's not 1994 any more.

Then again, I'm sure Nintendo Life know full well that this topic will hook you in and drive the clicks.

Stock has nothing to do with the health and wealth of any company, and is usually manipulated to benefit anyone but said company.

I wonder if it's a coincidence that Nintendo were looking into buying their own stock to basically wipe it out.

Anyhooooo..... I've never played the LiS series, but it sure looks cosy. Or is that a false sense of security I'm being given, and eventually it's all doom and gloom with broken-ankled friends in a bear-infested forrest and you only have the strength to carry one of them? Did I mention the fire looming over the horizon? Yeah, now there's fire as well as bears.

@acNewUpdates It's a tricky game of calculating demand from retailers as well as keeping your own store stocked and ensuring you don't over-promise then under-deliver on allocations vs manufacturing. I can imagine that someone, somewhere, has the headache of a lifetime every time this rolls around.

I know everyone is burned by rumours of late, especially after all the Pro guff, but JB is quite reliable. At this point MPT on Switch is easy money, even if they do go the lazy route and uprez it a bit and add bare minimum extras.
