I don't understand why so many are so obsessed with implementing ads. Everything does not need to have ads added on to them...

@HeadPirate This is definitely not just great news for Japan only. It's also great news to the other millions of people who prefer physical outside of Japan. I doubt Nintendo of America or EU would decide to go digital only after this announcement.

@darkswabber Banning them would be tricky though (if you are talking about a permanent ban.) Like if they spent money in the game, I am assuming Epic would never perma ban their account because of legal issues.

Anyways at the end of the day it's an emote in game, banning people for using it makes no sense.

They should just do it then if Nintendo won't budge. Sure people may complain that they can't get Samus on other platforms, but might as well add the character as an exclusive at least.

I just now realized the background in more detail to the cover art for the NA one after all these years.

I bought that Pokemon Adventures Omega Ruby and Omega Sapphire Manga version somewhat recently, and I think I got a misprint. The cover art is cutoff slightly, so I wonder if many others have that misprint or is it intentional? Odd choice if it is intentional.

Well, now I am glad I didn't went in and bought it digitally. Many times I was close to buying this game digitally.

Hmm, it feels like this game would probably be more successful if it was free to play. Unfortunately this game is probably not going to last long term I think, which is a shame.

Haven't really played these games for many hours, so I will pass on voting. (Back then when I was a kid, I didn't had much interest to play them for long periods of time.)

Why are people saying Final Fantasy VI are all in the top three? I am assuming Final Fantasy IV was in the top 3, and people thought it was VI I guess? Anyways, now III is in the top 3.

There are some actually good quality ones out there on the Switch, but not a lot.

This looks like it could be fun to play.

Not a fan with the blurriness with the background for the Japan box. But I chose it anyways due to having more characters on the front.

@Crono1973 I agree they should bring back retro games in for their stores. They would also need give fair prices/store credit for used video games for those who want to sell to them, because they would need inventory, if they offer very little, then they won't get much retro games in their stores.

For the larger-medium size Gamestop stores, I welcome more than just Video games in them though.

Imagine GameStop becoming a store that sells lot's of Anime/anime style stuff in the future.

They might actually go that route. Because the GameStop near me is now selling Manga XD. Also Anime figures too, etc.

Besides that, I actually hope they figure out a way to stay afloat without affecting too many people's jobs. (For starters, label the games that are not sealed as "open box" not "new.")

I think they should do what Black and White did by making the third game a sequel, with more added features.

But I think it might be time for more interesting takes for the franchise then making a third copy that has the same story but with some more features.

A bit odd to say "saving up to 40%" for the game. Does that mean certain other areas are not getting the 40% off? Because saying "up to" usually implies there are different percentages.

People are saying don't buy from Amazon. But I guess I got lucky because the one SanDisk micro SD card I got from them is legit. And I am planning on upgrading to a 512 GB whenever Amazon puts it on a sale that I like.

The reason why Amazon has fakes is probably because people probably bought cheap fakes then buy a legit one from Amazon and send back the fake one instead to get a refund. Or they could be real, but they are duds? (Talking about SanDisk only.)

One time I bought a 512 gb SanDisk micro SD card on Ebay for a good price at the time, and unfortunately it was corrupted/probably a fake, and I was relieved that the seller actually agreed to refund me.

@NerdyBoutKirby Yeah I did, there are some changes I didn't like in the English dialogue and changes I was fine with.

Regardless of that I will be getting this game still, probably gonna focus on the gameplay most likely I think for this game.

Would like to see Daisy, Yoshi, Wario and Waluigi. And I guess a cameo of pretty much every Mario enemy character.

No need to call the next one "wonder 2." I prefer a new name for the next one. Also I am gonna assume we will get a Mario Maker 3 before the next one, a added 3D maker would be neat for it. (Or just make it exclusive to 3D only.)

Not on the list, and I guest technically not a Mario game? But my choice would be Fortune Street on the Wii. It's a pretty good game.

I just voted for Mario Sports Mix though. But now that I think about it, I should have voted for Partners in Time.

I think it is time for Live service games to get rid of the FOMO (fear of missing out) element in them.

For example, make it so battle passes never expire (you can select old battle passes.) And make it so you can always do pass events, etc.

Obviously this is not the only thing that needs to be touched/changed in a live service game. But it is a good step in direction. (Some live service games have done these changes, but they are less known games.)

I wouldn't consider it retro yet. Give it a couple more years, or until the next Nintendo gaming system, then I would consider it retro.

@Uska Depends on how you hold it. It wouldn't fling out of my hand with the button on the top. Like you just click the button and let go right away while holding the bottom part.

@Bret Took them two years probably because of the Digital copies that people bought on Funimation. That are now gonna be gone for those who bought them.

Won't be surprised they waited this long to "lessen" the backlash for people who has digital copies on the site. Because they are not bothering converting the digital copies to Crunchyroll.(Can't remember but I thought I read on their site they were promising to convert your Funimation account to your Chrunchyroll account when they first announce the merge?)

Okay this will be interesting if it is just a city to explore. Always wanted to explore more building areas in the open world Pokemon series.

Just saw the poll. If we were allow to sell our digital copies, that would be pretty darn great... but that would be tricky to implement that. I guess if some of the money go to the publisher/developer and then some to the service you are selling the game on (let's say steam for example), and then make it so you can only resell it for let's say you have 200-500+ hours on the game?

If we are able to always have access to the digital games we bought for pretty much for the rest of our lives (on every platform.) Then sure I would accept the digital route. But since they don't have a structure to allow that, then physical all the way until they stop producing physical video games.

Hmm, I went to take a look at some of the games they made/published, and all I would have to say is... I have seen worse games than what they have, like way more worse.

Well, out of all their games, this is probably their weakness entry gameplay wise.

The segment just before the last 2 announcements could have been presented better imo, not a fan of that small montage of those games in the video from 18:08-18:16.

Besides that, the direct was decent. Some games I am interested in.

Hmm, well, since surprisingly Atlus games go on sale later and goes for a very good price nowadays (including physical copies.) I will wait.

Only TOTK is technically the only one.

The others are just more entries to the exiting franchise, with different features, different goals, etc.

Pretty sure no one would call Odyssey a "sequel" to any other 3D Mario game I believe.
