@Broosh yeah the level roulette thing is kinda dumb and there should’ve been a regular level select. Other then that great game.

Honestly I don’t mind the opening being a bit slow.
Heck I really liked the phineas and ferb game on the DS but some people didn’t like it because of the long tutorial. Yeah give players an option to turn off tutorials so people can play the game faster. As for long cutscenes at the beginning is something I also don’t mind since I like games with great stories

I would definitely love this since the original chibi-Robo game is amazing along with its sequels! Also am I the only one that likes zip lash?

Good on sega for this. Now game freak should do this. (Seriously there was sadly so many people mad that the natdex was removed that they constantly sent threats to the employees)

Honestly their pretty fun and I played melody of memory and it explained the story pretty well while also being fun to play.

Edit: I looked the man up and I did play some of the games that he made music for like the Mario sports games in the GCN/GBA era and the smash bros series along with KI:U. I also have tales of symphonia remastered and I’m excited for that. So I do have a few games he made music for.

@Daniel36 Because it’s a game that’s has randomly generated levels and if you die you start over again, exactly like rogue. A game doesn’t have to be turn based or take place in a fantasy world for it to be considered a Roguelike.

@Not_Soos IKR? Heck Kirby super Star has a nasty glitch in the JPN version that straight up deletes all the save files on the cartridge (thankfully they fixed it for the global release) and people still are happy to call it one of the best Kirby games of all time.

Oh god YES PLEASE! I remember getting sonic chronicles as a reward for doing well in school and I absolutely loved it. And when I heard a couple years ago that ken penders essentially killed any chance for a sequel to resolve the cliffhanger because apparently any time a different studio tries to make echidnas he has to throw a temper tantrum cemented my disdain for him.
Also a group of fans are making a fan remake of chronicles so this a good chance for Sega to hire them.

Honestly I didn’t know what to pick because I like both of them but I decide to pick the EU/JP box art because of the hand drawn art style. Although the face on the puncher is a bit goofy and the guy falling in the manhole looks like that crying chopper meme.

I have heard of ZZZ and it honestly sounds pretty good. I’m still waiting for genshin (seriously they released dawn of the breakers, guardian tales, and bleach brave souls on the switch so clearly gacha games on the eshop are fine) also I really hope they release star rail because that game looks awesome.

I’ve actually always wanted to try urban champion so it’s nice that it’s getting released. Although I’m a bit baffled why they added in donkey Kong Jr. math.

See Sakurai gets it. Yes patches shouldn’t be an excuse to rush out broken games, but if a game has been play tested for say either 1 or 2 years and they release it and there are a couple bugs then at the very least they genuinely tried to ensure that the bugs aren’t game breaking.

Really? Threatening people just because you were suffering a losing streak? I also get a bunch of losing streaks during splatfest and while it does get me irritated I never go so far as to send death threats just because I was butthurt. Heck the a few days ago I was so annoyed at constantly losing at monster card matches in Friday monsters to get 100% that I decided to just take a break from the game (and also find out I didn’t need to do those matches since the glims I needed to get the last few cards was in the over world :/)

@Axecon @DanijoEX-the-Pierrot I’m definitely with both of you. While the box arts from BiS onward are good and conveys what the gimmick of that game is I prefer the box art from SS and PiT since it’s flashy and has more detail on it then Mario and Luigi in front of a white background. Which is odd since usually the American Kirby is hardcore thing is a mixed bag for me personally but the American box art for the first two are awesome. Though admittedly a bunch of fan artists did make hypothetical box arts for made up games so there’s that. 😅

@beltmenot It’s like Nintendo suddenly thought “oh right we have Mario Run. Let’s do more with it”. Not that I have any problem with it.

Seeing as this is a GameCube game you bet I’m gonna snatch it up when a great sale comes by!

As someone who is an RPG fan and has played his fair share of Grindy games that’s not really a con for me. Besides I can watch YouTube to pass the time. Also I played and beaten denpa men and the post game so I think I can deal with brutal difficulty spikes.
@Solomon_Rambling I remember playing that game. Honestly pretty fun but man that game was so stingy with its premium currency.

As someone with no friends and who lives in the middle of nowhere the multiplayer isn’t a deal breaker.

@nohr7 How is it disrespectful? We sadly live in a age where if a developer is reveled and they are a developer that aren’t very popular then people would refuse to give the game a chance because they think “oh it’s a game made by [insert name] it’s going to be awful”. Also they likely did it to stop people harassing the developers.

As someone who got into the roguelite genre with little Noah and absolutely loved it I would definitely like to get this.

Anyone else remember that one wii channel that let you watch videos like nintendo week that also lets you download demos for ds games that also had the first investigators game demo. And did anyone else find that demo impossible or am I just stupid?

This is pretty cool and the motion control minigames for super were honestly pretty fun.
And the fact they seem to have kept the rhythm minigames are pretty cool.
