Even thou I think I know what you are referring to, Sakurai hasn't been a Nintendo employee for a long time now

The game looks fun and all but that price point, can't be justified. If I happen to grab the Switch 2 bundle i guess will be going for it but I don't like to buy AAA games Digital, I want to be able to resale my games if I want to. As a Consumer, I don't want to not have options and this, at least to me, feels like Nintendo cutting my options short.

Didn't EA said the same thing about all their previous sport games on switch?

I beat this game on gamecube 15 years ago or so, did it again on WiiU a few years ago, will buy it for sure if realesed on modern hardware but for now im good, thank you Nintendo

Will sell my copy of SF6 for PS5 if the full switch 2 game its in the gamecard, that will solve my problem 🙂

I have the definitive controler on my gulikit kk3 Which has analog triggers and a switch to stop those trigger buttons halfway if i wanted to. (And LOTS of others customization options) why everyone else does not have one of this vastly superior controller its really, beyond my understanding.

Have Nintendo decided on making this as an early adopter gift (lets say, the first few million consoles) the hardcore fans will be happy and whoever else that want to play it will have to pay and then, there's the collectionist crowd who could have made this an object of cult (raising its price and maybe even value) but oh well, some companies will never get it

Nintendo will be dumb to not release DLC for their holly cow (the MK franchise) it embodies all for what Ninty wants to be known for (having fun with family and friends) it's their biggest game (much more than Zelda or even mainline Mario) so DLC its a given. Having said that, to announce it right out of the gate will only depend on the content of the game, if its so massive as they claim and are confident enought they will announce it, (maybe the first one or two waves will be free) as for The two ex employees, they don't seem to have any insider knowledge so, who cares what they say?

Honestly, this is a better deal for me since i have the OG games on GC and WiiU, should Ninty had release it a 3rd time I would probably have grab it

I been playing Nintendo products for well over 4 decades now, and I can say with confidence that some of their resent strategic moves we never saw under Yamauchi's or Iwata's administration, the thing at its core is: they now consider themselves to be a premium brand, much like apple does and maybe they are but while having a phone may be considered a necessity in this days, it's different with a videogame console.
Console price: ok
Game key price: not ok
Game prices: not ok
Game peripherals prices: not ok
Shady practices: will never be ok

It's a shame really, these guys used to be a consumer friendly brand.

I love Nintendo, I really do, for a long time i just had Nintendo hardware at home because it suited all my gamer needs, but I have to put my foot down for this, if they insist in rising their prices like this (with no reason other than greed), they will never see a penny from me again, I will buy their games and consoles on the used market

Obviously i haven't play the console myself, but after all the dust from yesterday's presentation as settled, i kinda feel the same, not disappointed but not as excited, it's as if they told you for so long that it's all about the game experience, artstyle above cutting-edge graphics, having fun above all else etc and now they just gave you a more powerful machine.

It's only a matter of getting used to, I like the DKC looks better but yeah, its still DK

A solid 8 for me, DxM, Metroid, Hades, MK9 and silksong are the games im interested on. Elden ring, hogwarts, SF6, the punk game and FF, already have those on PS5. As for DK, i don't know what to think of just yet, to me it looks so much as the ratchet and clank launch game on PS5, so well see, the camera should have been built-in on the console (hopefully there will be a 3rd party one to put on the top usbc port, a speaker on the controller its an industry standard at this point in time. A more than decent start i think but with a few major flaws IMO

Will get one, even thou i don't know if its going to be day one, launch window or eventually, Mario Kart, Metroid, Hades and potentially silksong are the only games I'm really interested ATM

They said the games will run at higher frame rate and resolution, thats basically WWHD minus the QoL improvements that maybe just did make sense on the WiiU gamepad, ill take it!

I hope to see Metroid beyond realese date, a planet robobot announcement, Samus returns announcement, sega's shinobi update, silksong update + more ports

I had my super Nintendo cartridge back then, easily on my top five favorite games of all time

They used to own the team, back in the late 80's and most of the 90's, sold the majority of their shares during the WiiU era if I recall correctly

No Super Mario World 2? (Yoshi's Island) i mean, come on now, that game is THE Mario game

While I do aplaud Nintendo for doing things like this, i like how they don't do it just to keep their consoles cheap, hopefully S2 remains accessible

1st lords of shadow was real good, 2nd one was just a mess plotwise, hopefully they expand on that style with better writing.
In a perfect world they keep MercurySteam formula, a big AAA 3d Castlevania and a 2d/ 2.5d CastleMetroidvania to satisfy everybody Castlevania's fix

I had tropical freeze, sold it, regret it, and grab it used again a few weeks ago, will get this one if tropical freeze don't satisfy my DK fix

I like Digital foundry, I really do, however, Sending Alex (who admittedly doesn't even own a Nintendo game console) makes little to no sence at all
Granted, you don't have like or have a product to offer insight about a subject you're supposed to be an expert but you can see him struggle, that was painful to watch.

This guys are toying with its fanbase, no wonder it backfire them. Plants Vs Zombies 3 has been done for a while now, I don't get it.

My own biased opinion

Same as the old one but bigger im assuming. An overpriced pice of plastic IMO, the one I got from Temu do the trick just fine and I can also dock my switch without the need to remove it🙂

I hope its i june to coincide with my anual bonus payment 🤩

Anything above the $400 USD will have to come with some must play software, otherwise it'll have to wait.
