Im yet to grab this game, based on what ive seen on the demo, it is right my alley and thats why i would like to give my money to ubisoft, on the other hand, its going to get a discount soon and i love to save money, oh decisions!!

Very tempted to buy it since I know my kids will love it, took a dive into my shelf to find out that I own more than 60 fisical games (almost all big nintendo games plus other goodies from 3rd parties and maybe double of that on digital games) i felt kinda bad having spend all that money (at lest to me)
really dont know what to do 😫😫😫😫

Why announcing something this early?

Toriyama's creations will always hold a special place on my gaming heart, Chrono Trigger its my favorite RPG ever and easily on my top 10 best games of all time. Deepest condolences to his family, friends and fans.

While I really liked the demo, i didn't enjoy the input lag, hopefully Wayforward will adress the issues on time

@Captain_on_Deck you can't fly on a car, your suppose to use it on land, on a road,. Same way you buy a game, for example, for the Nintendo Switch, and you want to play it on a Steam deck?
Just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should do it. I see there a sense of entitlement that I don't particularly share.

@Captain_on_Deck while you might be right, no one's forcing you to buy Nintendo's products, im sure there are plenty other companies who does games (although its unclear to me if they have same/kinda policies)

Lackluster is the word that comes to mind, ill remain on the fence about whats going on with Nintendo this year. Fortunately for me, i have build a smartphone emulation machine (with fisical buttons) so I will be chipping my backlog and past games that for whatever reason, didn't had the chance to play the first time around

If this is true, I wonder what their game's line up will be for the coming months, besides the princess peach game, can't recall anything else. They have ran out of remakes (will seem odd to release any Zelda remake at this point) so if true, what games will be coming?

Will be a launch title for Nintendo's next gaming console, its the only logic explanation.
Coming from an avid fan, the delay will indeed affect the "buy now" desition since I will be more critical of the game concidering the time the "spend" working on it. When they announced, the game seem very polished and far into development, so this either is a business decision or what they showed was video rather than actual gameplay.

Shouldn't be on the production line at this point? If they are planning on realising it during 2024 it has to be assembled as we speak, so this rumors about new chips and ramb should have been set by now 🤔🤔🤔

Im going to try and clear some backlog at the moment im fighting robot masters on the Mega Man X legacy collection 1 and when i got stuck or just don't feel like keping up im playing Paper Mario on 3DS, have fun everyone!

Only way i can se Nintendo do well with this console (assuming we are talking about the next iteration of the Switch concept) is:

Meet expectations regarding horsepower (most concerning issue right now is if the machine have less than 12GM of ram)

Inovate in some capacity (switch to a third option and not just console to handheld, like for example, console-handheld-VR visor)

Other thant that, they are going to sell well but not ps2 well (my 2cents)

It has been "reported" elsewhere that they were buying LCD panels from Sharp and OLED from Samsung, supposedly there are going to be 2 models at launch, one digital only (with lcd screen) and one fisical (with OLED screen) both backwards compatible (cartridges for the new one been different than the current ones) hopefully thiss end being true 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Aneira i know, but it has to have a build up, its not like the first million of console buyers are going to grab a niche game like Metroid (cuz lets face it, it is one of the niche games coming from Nintendo) besides, they will never push it as a Miyamoto title because of Gumpei Jokoi and Sakamoto involvment

Releasing it as a launch tittle on a new console its only going to hurt the game sales-wise. Metroid has never be a big seller and with a smaller installed base, they are basically sending the game to fail

My only grip with the game so far (by playing the demo) is the scale of the swords in comparison with the body of the protagonist (it brakes the immersion for me) other than that, seems like a cool game, will buy for sure.

What's strikes me as surprising is the fact that PS5 has manage to sale more than 4 millions in less than half the Switch lifetime sales (in japan) 😮
