Re: Talking Point: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom DLC - What Would You Have Liked To See?

EriXz

More lore, the game's good but to me, the memories added so little, we dont know what actually happen to the Zonai guy, its kid (of any, never showed, the wsy the depict his wife death opens more questions that it answers) (unless i miss something but i did not pay that much attention really) who were those Dragons, what happen to the sheika tech, Geez i can keep going and for that reason alone i will put BoTW above this game anytime.

Re: You Can Apparently Mute The Talking Flowers In Super Mario Bros. Wonder

EriXz

This is a neat option, during the direct, whenever the flower spoke i could have swear it was the guy who was narrating the presentation (yes thats how bad i thought it was) even to the point where i said to myself: maybe localization isn't ready just yet and hes making the flowers voice. Anyway, options are always nice.

Re: Charles Martinet Will No Longer Be The Voice Of Mario

EriXz

Personaly I like the guy alot, and im grateful for all he did, however, I can't but feel all that wahooos felt restraining of the whole Mario character.

Nintendo doesn't seem to like his character to have a voice but it seems they cannot hold progress anymore.
Good luck Mr. Martinet

Re: Pokémon Company's COO Addresses Issue Between Release Schedule And Game Quality

EriXz

@Slim_in_Blue yes, pretty much it is like that. I Don't particularly like pokemon games, my kid on the other hand, loves the franchise so naturally i buy the games whenever they realese a new version, I ask him what does he thinks of the game (he choosed Scarlet) and to my surprise his response was: the game is fun!
Have you encountered any issues: nope, its really fun.
I guess is the same for all the other 14 million not hardcore gamers

Re: Take-Two CEO Defends Red Dead Redemption's $50 Price Tag, Says It's "Commercially Accurate"

EriXz

Jesus christ, gamers are indeed a hard crowd to please aren't they? For people so against the price you can always buy the ps3/360 versions of the game and be done. If you don't have any of those machines better take into consideration that you are paying for the full game, the zombie DLC and the Switch portability (wheter you use it or not) you can also wait for a sale 🙂

Re: Video: Let's Talk About Those Switch 2 Rumours, Then

EriXz

I want my 2witch to have 3 functions: console, handheld and VR goggles. They can do it, halt the front and rear cameras and invest on an state of the art screen so we can squeeze all that sweet DSLL or whatever that upscaling technology is and by doing so, we can put those joycons to good use for once.

Re: Talking Point: Which Nintendo IP Should 'Switch 2' Launch With?

EriXz

A new Mario is a given whether its a new 3d entry or a brand new kart that remain to be seen. ToTK deluxe edition with whatever gimmick/visual upgrade/aditional content seems like a no brainer too, some long awaited port and their usual party game to try and sell their new gimmick, plus, 2 or 3 3rd party title's and a bunch of indies and we are good to go.

Re: Poll: Do You Think Switch Can Catch PS2's Total Sales Before 'Switch 2' Arrives?

EriXz

It is certainly, into the realm of possibilities. Having said that, for that to happen not only do Nintendo have to have a plan that includes disccounts, bundles etc. They have to have the inventory to build those machines, we are talking some very, very old componets (by todays technological standards) sure, Nvidia and Sharp can produces screens and chips but no way it is going to be cheaper than once was. So, i would love to, but seems very unlikely.

Re: Metroid Dread Wasn't A "Chaotic" Project, Working With Nintendo Was "Game Changing", Says Dev

EriXz

@roboshort i can agree with your second post as well, to me, it seems as if managment gave alot of troubles, if you see the Blasphemous documentary, all staff member made it (even the ones they have to let go for financial issues were hired again) whit Mercury steam, lots of people leave. Dont get me wrong, i like their previous work (the 3 Castlevanias) and Metroid Dread, the game was very good and i enjoy it alot. Hopefully they are working on the next one and hopefully whit better planing and better working conditions

Re: Feature: So, Which Zelda Games Aren't On Switch Yet?

EriXz

have a feeling that, WW and TP wont apear on switch rather, they are going to show up on 2witch. (switch 2) Companies (gaming companies) don't really like the idea of a Definitive machine where people can actually play entire collections. If not, they would have realese this bubdle and the Mario 3d all stars colection 2 that they have shelved long ago.

Re: Metroid Dread Wasn't A "Chaotic" Project, Working With Nintendo Was "Game Changing", Says Dev

EriXz

Have any of you seen the Documentary on Blasphemous (another spanish developed game) that is on youtube right now? If not, you should as it's very educational on game development and its crunch culture. Metroid Dread is a very very good game, having said that, I do believe that MD was a dificult and challenging game to develope and i do believe that this game was a stressful game to make, I can even believe some of the reports that say the scope of the game was much bigger that what it was at the end (took me 14 hours first playthrough, 7 the second time, in comparison Hollow Knight took me like 25/30 hours) and the team suffered from datelines, crunch, stress, and all that, so much so that in the end not everyone got to see the end result. I get it, this is the way this industry work, but this guy, i think he's FoS.
