Re: Site News: We've Got A Switch 2

My attendance to the GameStop Switch 2 event was a success! They had a good amount of extra consoles (about 50). So I'll have it by 11 tonight! Excited 😁🎉

Re: Talking Point: With Prices Rising, Are Your Gaming Habits Changing?

I'm carving away at my ever growing backlog instead of buying day one releases. Life goes on, gaming will still be one of my largest hobbies. Buying new games immediately and pre-ordering will just be a forgotten hobby and I'm fine with that....unless that release starts with "Chibi" and ends with "Robo", I'll pre-order your entire overpriced stock 😏

Re: Hori's New Switch 2 Camera Is Built For Handheld Play

Broosh

Ah yes, I remember the PSP camera lol If they truly wanted face cam to be so strongly integrated into the chat design, it would be built into the system (Wii U says hi).
Edit: After now glancing previous comments I realized I'm late to the party 🤣

Re: Monster Hunter: Wilds Tech Analysis Has Us Concerned About A Switch 2 Port

I highly doubt the Steam Deck will run this game, and even if it manages to pull it off, it'll be on the most potato visual settings possible (while running in hair dryer mode). So while we don't know Switch 2 specs yet, I think that's a decently fair benchmark to compare it to. Better to kick back and wait for a timed switch exclusive MH title instead 😎

Re: Best Mario RPGs Of All Time

@darkswabber @Sonicka Fair points both! My comment was more of a joke, hence the ace attorney quote 😅 But that does explain it for sure.

Re: Best Mario RPGs Of All Time

HOLD IT! From the M&L Brothership Nintendolife review: "Easily the best Mario and Luigi RPG yet." Proceeds to get outranked by every other Mario and Luigi game 🤔 Not saying the ranking is necessarily wrong (I haven't played all of the M&L games personally), but I smell a contradiction 🤨

Re: Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble Scores A Switch eShop Demo

As a Banana Rumble skeptic on release, I can say with confidence this game has solid single player content. I was expecting to be annoyed by the spin-dash, but it's implemented well and makes finding speedrun tactics very fun (something I didn't dabble too much with on the original two games considering the lives limit)!
