Yes I am someone who captures these things from their natural habitats and forces them into a PC box where the majority will sit indefinitely. And for the ones that don't, they bend to my will as they fight tooth and nail for my personal gain.
But this...is a little upsetting 😟

I have to be in a collect-a-thon mood, but when I am this one is a joy to revisit on Xbox. I strongly recommend it to those who haven't played yet but like 3D platformers.

This USJ layered will be fun to mix with other armor, and the Palico layered is especially looking 👌👌

@popey1980 Unfortunately the majority of Japanese games don't include English text/subtitles as an option by default, but Chinese ports usually do. In the case of Yo-Kai on Switch, no such port exists 😔
Also this game looks incredible and I also really hope for a localization (or an eventual import price drop at least).

@Crockin I haven't, and I get that it would be a major expenditure of resources. Obviously they're cutting corners which is fine, and I agree with you that cartoons of this era aren't dialogue heavy so that alone makes this piece feel bizarre.
But I also kindof align with @JimiVall in that if it can't even try to be like the source material, why do it at all (outside the obvious cash and hype appeal). Overall it's a 🤷 from me, but if you dig it, good on ya.

@Crockin Time and effort should never be devalued in favor of hype and convenience. If their efforts were focused on a feature film instead of a series, it could be that much more special.

Isn't the whole novelty of the game how well it reflects old cartoons (along with the high difficulty of course)? And if you are going to make a full show of it, why not do the same? This is an oddball.

My largest complaint was the butchered Monkey Target, but I also mentioned the missing story/challenge co-op, gating half of the roster out of customization and party games, and weak sound effects. In hindsight, PC would have been the way to go since mods addressed a few of these minor issues.

Atlus heard you, Nintendo fans. More Persona spinoffs you want, more Persona spinoffs you get! This is actually a good fighting game, but seriously, why are they so against ports?

The game looks serviceable, but Steam reviews for this aren't really glowing. Here's hoping they have since addressed some of the complaints since it launched there!

Ah, the memories of deconstructing every structure with explosives, vehicles, and a big hammer. This is a steal.

Cautious optimism is the bottom line. This coincides with the wife's bday and while she got into the series with the 3DS games, she's already craving a game that changes up the formula. So nonetheless we're both excited to play.

Whatever they will be, expect their working title to be their real title. I'm placing my bets on "Spherical Quester".

The comparisons here don't do Balan a lot of favors. Like saying backtracking for a specific ability is a staple of Kirby. There's times in Kirby (especially recent games) where that can be a nuisance and we are seeing a new entry try a whole new approach to the formula because it's not always a positive there either.
Nonetheless, bold to defend this one and if it's for you, great. Nobody should have any valid reason to tell you not to enjoy something. To each their own, and we all have gaming guilty pleasures.

Man this is nostalgia in two glorious flavors. My inner Rudy sheds checker-patterned tears for this beauty.

If the fans can make fun Sonic games using just open sandbox maps and actual momentum, Sonic Team has the potential to make something great here with a big budget.

Spider-Man 2 swinging physics are still a joy, and the silly added villains like Mysterio are a great diversion. Still love this one to bits, ugly character models, pizza song, and all.

I've definitely fallen in this rabbit hole with Minecraft ideas (though none of them turn out nearly this cool). One idea can turn into countless hours then questioning why I'm putting in so much effort.
This is seriously impressive work.

I still climb to that glitched chunk of bridge that removes the cell shader to see outfits like this up close. I find it fascinating.

This makes me wish I enjoyed playing Pac-Man, because this is an awesome way to do a collection!

Jungle Beat on Wii is a great port, since it basically just plays like a typical DK platformer. Cubivore is also a must play, it's probably the weirdest GameCube game in general, and yet it gets weirdly addictive with how you build up your geometric predator.

This is astounding and fantastic. I immediately subscribed.

@noobish_hat They previously posted an article when this same game was rumoured with no confirmed platforms. For anyone interested in where that was going, they are confirming it's skipping Switch. Read the article next time.

I wonder if there's any inspiration from 20th Century Boys? After reading that, this looks even more appealing.

@Mauzuri Maybe they're focusing on villains with multiple 'forms'. But agreed this trifecta have been done to the ground.

As a point of reference, when my dad played his 360 he struggled with even mildly demanding gameplay (that wasn't NHL-related anyway) but he adored the creepy atmosphere of several games like BioShock, so he'd watch while I played instead. This would be a difficulty option for someone like him when there's nobody to hand the remote to.

This update singlehandedly reinvigorated my interest in New Horizons. I have more goals to strive for and ideas for island displays and organization. Like Smash, it's sad that it's (mostly) over but also a relief.

@Astral-Grain That was my impression too...if that is the case this is very misleading.

This is something the game needed so badly. I wanted to better see my donations clearly and the camera angles always seemed off or too zoomed out. I'm very excited.

I remember when I first held cats and dogs in Twilight Princess. Such a minor detail and never truly necessary, but insanely cute. And Link didn't just hold them out like a baby with full britches, he hugged them close like a real pet lover.
