Well at least this is a negative review that doesn't make an obligatory 'Sonic 06' comparison. Just a watered down port of an otherwise solid game.

Switch really needs a port of Organ Trail! I had a blast with it on PS4.

I've always been on the fence about this game. A level editor has tipped the scales, I'm buying now.

This almost looks like a scrapped Wii port 😆 I also loved the way this review was written up. Very well done.

I wonder if they worked on balancing, because my time with the beta never saw Survivors get even close to winning a match.

This really isn't bad, I think the only edit I would make is just make the eyes slightly bigger. But I'm sure this looks fine in motion.

Not that it would happen any time soon, but the lifespan/playability of this game being very finite as an MMO along with the pricetag are a pass for me. On a minor note, I never understood how the game's name stuck. It sounds like stuttering.

Underwhelming for sure. Kirby and Pikmin is good, Tears of Kingdom name and date is welcome, Pkmn Stadium 2023 is cool, not much else for me.

I wish Stadium was in that first batch, but I'm still excited!

So only focusing on Deep in Abyss mode, outside of the cycle of taking/turning in quests to progress the skill tree, what is the endgame? I'd imagine there's a point where you stop getting deeper into the abyss? Is there ever any variety in the equipment you make/use?

@Mattock1987 Agreed. I'm thinking it either has an aggressive review embargo or review copies weren't distributed. Both scenarios would be worrying.

@Fizza The idea of it is much more intimidating than its actual presence in the game, much like what @patbacknitro18 said. It's a very interesting and rewarding game for sure!

Due to the unreal value of the Gamecube original, it would be neat to see a re-release. The four handheld games wouldn't be so simple to port though. For anyone interested, there is a fan project in the works to translate the oft-forgotten (and much cheaper to buy) Wii port of the original Chibi-Robo!

It's a tie between Luxray and Staraptor for me. I adored the first two gens as a kid and when gen 3 came around, it wasn't "cool" to like Pokemon anymore. Then my curiosity got the best of me in highschool and I started a new file on my brother's old Pearl cartridge and got hooked. Luxray and Staraptor never left my party and they represent my return to being a Pokemon fan.

So excited for this! I just got to the "end game" portion and still blown away by the content on offer here. So many quests and side quests to clean up, I'm very satisfied with this release so far.

Pretty neat little system, but for that price I'll opt for the Retroid Pocket 2+.

@TheMelodiusRose Hey, the graphics hold up fine. Certain mechanics like the QTEs not so much, but you can't win em all.

I've come around a little since 2019 and I got this on a sale. Playing it more like Vanquish has given me more appreciation for it, but I still think it has lots of issues. It's very alright. And yeah the performance is perfectly fine too.

Just picked up Resident Evil 6 on sale. I didn't have a blast with it back on PS4, but seeing videos after the fact shows apparently I need to play it like Vanquish. So time to try it again.

I'm imagining a scenario where you only have your starter, you and a friend run to different parts of the map and capture new 'Mon to fill your party, then you meet up and battle each other with your new team.

All I want to know now is will this use the old capture system only (sword/shield and previous) or also include Arceus's real-time PokeBall aiming/throwing in the wild as well...

Why would they choose Concrete to represent football?

REALLY hard to pick between Lost Planet and Viewtiful Joe. But considering how LP ended and they hit such a sweet spot with 2's design, they're much more likely to make a good Viewtiful Joe these days than they are a good Lost Planet.

That's actually pretty cool. It stinks that you can only get facts about a specific creature if you hand them to Blathers individually, so having that documented would definitely be worth a spot on the bookshelf.

I wonder if it will be Shadows of the Damned related? Considering some dialogue from TSA explaining their desire to re-release the game with some QOL.

I had a decent time with this when it was free for PS+. This is exactly what they needed to do to bring me back. Very excited.

I just binged Samus Returns and regret sleeping on that game on release. Such a good final boss! Now I'm giving Fusion Mode a shot. I'll keep this 3DS alive as long as possible.

It doesn't seem so much as "bad" as it is "disappointing". A new entry to a series shouldn't make you pine for the previous games instead.

I'd be less annoyed by the pass system if progress could be made in any game mode, not exclusively online play.
