@mikegamer I imagine it's just the appeal of playing more graphically demanding games than switch can handle natively. Again, I'm not into Cloud games, I'm just saying this feature would have benefit this port in the end of it has a lot of performance hiccups.

I never got to play the original so this is very welcome!

@mikegamer It's not a horrid idea considering the weaker hardware and the rise of Game Pass streaming all over the place. But yeah last I tried a Cloud Switch demo I wasn't too impressed.

Sounds like this would have benefited from being a Cloud version.

Well, I'm keeping my preorder but this news is disheartening. Bad Monkey Target physics and no multiplayer for the main game really hurt...I hope they care enough to release patches to help some of these issues 😔

These bright color schemes really don't scream "dread". And that controller could have been so much better...😒 Colored buttons or d-pad for starters.

Man this is a much more negative board than expected lol I have always thought Samus Returns and by extension this game are ugly as sin, but it looks like solid fun to play. I'm excited.

I wonder if this is the only compatible stylus? Considering the digital fee, the included pen is $20 and I have a capacitive stylus that would of course lack some accuracy and visibility...

This demo surprised me, I wasn't super into the goofy proportions of the character but the action actually feels pretty great.

What if Ninty just randomly gave you a free game like this and it was just yours at that point? If only 😒

They really should have made the block a Metal Mario or Flight Cap block to fit this 64 theme.

This game proved Travis Strikes Again might as well be a numbered entry. There are more references to it in 3 than to the previous two games as a whole. If you're jumping straight from 2 to 3 expect to be extra confused.

Can you disable the wheel of danger in Monkey Target? It's nitpicky but this was my favorite way to play with friends.

From DS to Wii U was subtle and somewhat atmospheric. Problem with the Wii U one is how long you listen to it while the console does something VERY slowly.

Famicom by a long shot. That's a full theme song, and just as catchy as any game theme of the era. GameCube has nostalgia but that is not a catchy melody.

Prime 4 and Bayo 3 were announced way too early. The day we see a Direct re-announcing them with actual gameplay will be glorious.

This game was an enigma of design...they absolutely nailed the combat, writing was ace as always, they benched the side characters that could have mixed things up, omitted level buildups to (mostly) great boss fights, made the open world way too open and removed mini games that are actually fun like 2.

I initially thought this was ranking the Great Fairies from aesthetics 😆 I'm sure that ranking would be a tad altered from this one.

Croc was a better 2D platformer than a 3D one!

If I still had my collector's mindset circa-2011, upwards to $60. But these days of not being a vintage collector anymore, probably cap at $30. I would likely just put it in a frame and hang it up.

This seems like an AM2R endeavor where all of this effort goes into a project, then when it's almost complete the official game gets a remaster or remake.

@Harmonie Ah, gotcha. I thought 2.5 was 2D sprites in a 3D environment or nice versa (like Klonoa PS1 or the Pkmn DS games). So Let's Go Pika/Eevee would also be 2.5D, yeah?

@Harmonie This is full 3D though, not 2.5D? Every asset is 3D, I didn't catch any sprite models on the field. And lack of camera control doesn't mean a game isn't 3D...

I'm so pumped to revisit team Luxray and Starraptor. Rolling in with two intimidates on double battles is so satisfying 😏

I would imagine that's mostly for Arceus, the game we know very little of and are most concerned for. If Sword/Shield are any indication, they're still not entirely sure how to make an open world design work well. Here's hoping!
