Wow, way too many great games to be able to buy them all! A brand new Mega Man game for $30? That's an easy decision, all in on that. Monster Hunter will be great to get into for the first time. But man, there's so much more...

Nice, but I just can't see getting back into this game. This was my first Kirby game and I was somewhat disappointed. Great graphics and characters but super simple & imo there's just nothing that makes me want to go back and play again, even new characters.

Once I finish Captain Toad think I'll pickup the Mega Man X collection.

This has to be the most overrated game in Switch's short history. Why does everyone care about this ridiculous game??? It doesn't even look 8 bit, more like 4. There are far better fighting games out already or coming soon like Smash, Dragon Ball & Street Fighter.

Looks terrible. Was it on Game Boy? Ridiculous.

Watched a YouTuber play the demo and though I've played it on the WiiU it made me excited for it. I'm a buyer at $40. If its full price I still got my WiiU hooked up so I'll just play it on there.

Weird if Ninendo did take out the old Mario levels in this game. Why not just add?

I'd buy it day 1 but got a lot of bills coming up & a back log of games to play through yet, so I may wait a little. Looks like fun though.

I saw some YouTubers play this on the Switch when it came out, they even covered the patches that came out after. 2K never could get it right. A wise decision to skip the Switch this year. I doubt they're even devoting any resources to getting it right. We may not see WWE again. With so many games available, I won't miss it.

There are third party AAA games coming out on PlayStation and Xbox today that'll never fit on Switch or would be too much of a pain to go bring over. Having said that, there are some games from a few years ago that would be perfect. I'm pretty happy we're getting some third party support but of course would always want more.

Golf Story and Fe for $10 each? I might have to add to my back log of games...

Hollow Knight for me but I got such a back log I don't have to download it yet. Maybe by the time I do there'll be a sale.

Alright, with a Mew I guess I'll do it. So long as its $100 or less. Eevee version for me.

I would've liked the MP trilogy too as I haven't played any of them. Would've kept me busy the rest of the year.

Not upset at them not addressing 4 at E3. Its not like that would make the game come out any faster. No biggie.

Wishful thinking but I'd like a Metroid Prime trilogy to drop soon, heard they did this years back so I doubt they'll do it again. I missed them all, and if its a given that 4 comes out 2019, I think a rerelease of the trilogy this year would be a good thing, at least for me.

Nothing here looks too interesting to me. I'll wait for E3, think there'll be a few games that launch during. Plus all the games after. Mario Tennis Aces is on my radar, will likely get.

A free Pokémon game? Sure I'll take it. Honestly, it doesn't look like I'll be all that interested but who knows, might be better than I think.

I'm glad all Pokémon fans get something. A free game for sure, but the casual fans have the two upcoming games in November and your more hard core fans get a Gen 8 game (hopefully) in 2019.

Hope it sells far apart from the rumored Star Fox racing game. Would be a shame if the two racing games got in the way of each other.

Finishing Oxenfree & continuing Rayman Legends. I paid $25 for RL & what a steal. Great platformer!

I haven't bought it yet but will, it looks beautiful. I have such a back log of games to play through yet & since its summer I'm outside more. Haven't played my Switch for a couple weeks. But good to hear, the developer deserves it.

Immortal Redneck...eventually. I have too many games I haven't played at all yet or just barely got started. I probably won't buy anything at all for awhile.

I get it. Indies are doing so well why stifle a good thing? If people decide to buy a bunch of Nintendo's retro games they'll be less likely to buy a bunch of indies. Indies are selling well. If the quality of the top indies goes down then maybe Nintendo will pull the trigger and offer virtual counsel in the future. But it doesn't look well for that scenario.

What a unique take on these retro mini counsels. Well done. I remember when Neo Geo came out back in the day. It was the best system out for its time and ridiculously expensive. I don't think I played a single game, though I wanted to. If this is $100-125 I'd consider it.

There could be some winners here but I just got Gal gun, which I haven't even opened yet, & just started Rayman Legends. I'll have to take a pass this week. So many games, too little time.

I've been waiting on this one. Looks like a great game if the price is right. I'm interested in the standard physical version. Not sure what price I'd buy in at, got so many games I haven't finished yet. I can wait for a good price.

I'm sure its a great game, didn't play it on WiiU, but at $60 and so many games I haven't finished, I'll wait for a sale. I'm a buyer at $40.

Jotun: Valhalla Edition is right up my alley, Norse mythology, usually am into games dealing with the subject. I will be downloading this.

I've been both a lover & hater of the Switch E shop. Lots of subpar games to sift through but there are gems that make it worth it!

Sounds great & sounds like no one is really surprised. Nintendo could double those sales if they come out with some earth shattering announcements at E3. Here's hoping!

Yeah it's easy & could use a little more variety but all in all a decent game. I don't regret buying it, it's my first Kirby game, so had to give it a try.

I don't have an internet connection at home so this wouldn't be for me. Not sure what to make of this. We do have enough FPS's on Switch now and while I do like them somewhat its not like I need every one. I also think the battle royale is peaking now, will fade in the near future. Lightly disappointed but I'm over it.

Glad Labo is having success, even though at this point its just perceived success since its too early for sales numbers. I'm in my 40's and this just doesn't appeal to me at all, but its not meant to. Labo is something my little nephews will like & I think its cool Nintendo is marketing something to this audience. Kudos!

Likely Gal Gun. High testosterone game, relief from having to deal with so many of today's beta males.

We already know Nintendo would like to get this out for the holiday 2018. This really doesn't add new information. But would be a great year for N if they did. To have Smash & Pokémon in back to back months to finish the year...both system sellers. Switch could hit 30 million units sold in first 2 years if Pokémon does come out this year. Would be nice.

Though I wasn't going to buy it I'm still disappointed for everyone else. Once the first half of the year is complete all we'll have to show for it is an easy Kirby game & Labo. Guess the kiddies will be happy though.

I envy people with a PS. Picking up God of War would tide me over for awhile.

Virtual counsel is dead, at least as we know it. As Youtuber BeatEmUps recently explained, indies have flourished on the Switch. Nintendo wants them to continue to do well since it still remains to be seen if we'll get a lot of third party support and Nintendo can't just keep coming out with AAA games month after month (as we're seeing in the first half of this year).

There will be some classic games made available but by and large Nintendo doesn't want their classics to compete with the indies. They'll just continue to put out mini's every holiday season and cash in with that.

Switch Eshop sales for me this weekend. Oxenfree was only $5 & I'm already an hour in. Good story so far. Noticed Robonauts is only $3 so will download that later today & will also get Graceful Explosion Machine for $6-something. 3 games for less than $15, a steal!

I think they're overselling it, whatever it is. The only HUGE thing I can think of is them getting in the home counsel market again and that ain't happening. Sega's retro games showing up on a system would be welcome news for many, but hardly huge. Same for a brand new game.

I think I'll give this a try. Looks like a lot of fun, though I do agree I would think it'd get repetitive unless there's more to the game. If this were released last year I don't think I'd get it. There was a great game released every month. Now, there doesn't seem to be too much coming out that I'm interested in so I'll give it a try.

I chose nothing for me this week but have a couple of YouTube reviews to go through for Burly Men at Sea and Don't Starve. These two are maybe's for me, though the reviews will have to really impress me if there's any chance of me buying. Heard Oxenfree is $5. If so may get that instead.

I haven't played it yet, its probably a great game. Probably not worth $60 though due to it being a port but I'm not sure what other games I'll be buying around the time of release so I still might get it. We'll see.

I agree with the first comment. Watched a YouTube video on this topic. These companies are better off not saying anything until its close to release. It just upsets the public.

I'll pick up at least the first of the X series since I haven't played any of them. If I get around to beating all of them then maybe the next set of games. I picked up the original legacy collection on 3ds when I owned one. Though I loved those games growing up I got bored of them pretty quickly second time around. I won't be getting those again. Nostalgia is nice but not necessary.

The game itself looks like it could be good for some laughs. I'll keep my eye on this one. At the right price I might give it a try.

@OorWullie Your logic sounds right for Wolfenstein 2. I'm still a little miffed that Spyro isn't coming to Switch yet and even if it does it'll be much later. That's where I decided that I had so many games to still beat plus all the upcoming ones this year, that I'd skip games that aren't day and date releases. Unfair to some, like Wolfenstein, but the Switch is over a year old now and I'm hoping to see more day & date releases soon. Hope the day comes soon where we don't get games later than everyone else.

Nah, I'll pass. I'm no longer buying games that aren't day and date releases. I've bought a good 18 games or so my first year on Switch & have only completed a few. There are so many games out that I no longer need to support developers that treat the Switch as an afterthought.

Looks like I'd be interested in this. I'm still into platformers. But...I'm going to start boycotting games that aren't day & date releases. Ports of games that came out long ago are fine but if today a company releases a game for Xbox & Playstation & releases the Switch version months later I'm not going to reward that behavior by buying that game. I'm going to avoid it at all costs. That goes for you too Wolfenstein 2.
