Another week with lots of choices and no major standouts.
I wonder why Sly Spy is $6.99 instead of $7.99 ?
I really liked donkey Kong for Wii U
One of my favs
Awaiting reviews for Raging Justice!
I just picked up South Park, so I think that I'll be good until Dark Souls. The only game that I plan on picking up between now and then is Ikaraga.....unless Wolfenstein II comes out before DS. I'm just trying to give my friggin' wallet a break, and Switch is not allowing that to happen!
Got Tropical Freeze preloaded. Can't wait!
I bought the Naruto Trilogy last week, but I suppose I can mark it now. Lol
Donkey Kong would probably consume all my switch time until Hyrule Warriors. So for the rest, I'll consider once they went on sale. No buy at full price.
Raging Justice, I'll wait for reviews. Naruto, I might buy if the Trilogy get a physical release.
nothing for me this week
Nothing for me - Waiting for Battle Chasers.
Hope Naruto does ok (Didn't do all that well in this week Japan Chart) so can get a new games like it.
Nothing for me. Naruto released last Thursday and I bought it then
No way I'd consider DK (or Hyrule) at anything close to full price
Never heard of a game costing under 99 cents.
Got DK delivered right to my door earlier today. Talk about luxury! XD
On another note, why limit these voting things to 3 choices? There might be people buying more than 3 games. Pretty uncommon but certainly not impossible.
Excited to give Raging Justice a try. I guess we finally get 10-yard Fight and Stakes Winner this week, after they were on the list for last week but never released?
Going to check out the sales.
Already got a new game this week. I downloaded Stella Glow while it was on sale. Nothing for me this month until Street Fighter Collection comes for the Switch
Got Naruto Trilogy.
Nothing for me.
Waiting for Runner 3. I’ll probably prepurchase later.
DK:TP is a fantastic game and everyone should play it. If I hadn’t played the Wii U version to 100%+ I’d be all over it.
Downloaded Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy last week, nice that it haven't been forgotten in this week lineup. I just hope Bandai Namco would release Road to Boruto in the future.
Raging Justice & Sly Spy for me!!
Already have tropical freeze on Wii U but I'm double dipping for switch tomorrow to play it with my girl all weekend since she finally bought her own switch 😁, also have the physical copy of Shantae pre ordered for next week.
Donkey Kong and Raging Justice, day one.
Naruto for me. Not paying $60 for tropical freeze right now— waiting for used copy or something else. It’s totally worth the price (if you didn’t get it on Wii U) but I just can’t double dip right now.
@Pokefanmum82 Stella Glow is my favorite game maybe ever. I had soooo much fun with that game and it’s so well done. Not hyping it but wow I hope you like it
Nihilumbra was one of my favorites on Vita, but I don't know that I'll double dip. The story's compelling and the platforming has a really nice pacing when it comes to new rules. It gives just enough time to play with what you know and get comfortable before throwing the next curveball.
I want it to succeed....but I've never owned a wii-u and really want tropical freeze.
Come on. Nothing for me since Kirby and now DK, 10 Yard, and Raging Justice.
Picking up DK physical
Yeah, Nihilumbra is cool if you don't have it on another platform, I'd recommend it. In spite of my consternation with Nintendo on these re-releases, I am getting DKTF again to play on the go and for Funky mode. This will be my LAST double dip. Sorry Captain Toad.
DKC: Tropical Freeze is the only game worth it this week IMO.
Timberman.
Nothing much for me this week so I predownloaded Street Fighter (4.9gb).
Bummed that the EU release of Sly Spy got pushed to next week
DKC seems like a great game, but I can get it on Wii U for a THIRD of the price.
DKCTF physical tomorrow. Woo!
No "Nothing" option? Guess I can't vote then!
♫ D-K... DON-key... Kong ♫
@JaxonH
He's the leader of the bunch... you know him well.
There could be some winners here but I just got Gal gun, which I haven't even opened yet, & just started Rayman Legends. I'll have to take a pass this week. So many games, too little time.
Already paid for and pre-loaded DK Tropical Freeze. Can't wait to start playing. Never owned it on Wii U, so this is a must-buy for me. Full price, no problem for a game of this quality. Digital all the way!!!
@LegenofPokemon: If you supported Wii U, you DESERVE to be able to buy DKTF at 2/3 off. Even though I could have bought the Wii U version, the portability, graphics bump and difficulty options make this worthwhile for me on Switch at full price.
@RodSD64
♫ He's finally back... to kick some...tail ♫
How quickly the releases went from "holy crap how do I choose from all these curated indies" to "ok, more middle of line, adequate and forgettable indie releases". Seems to be week after week of this now. Excited to finally own DKCTF. After that...Battle Chasers on the 15th (looks pretty and is preordered, but might be basic), Hyrule Warriors on the 18th (port+FE Warriors was JUST out in OCT), then Little Nightmares (just announced it's specially tailored for Switch at 720p/30fps, so no way am I supporting), Runner3 (yay!) and 2 Capcom collections in the last week of the month. ZzZz and technically this is the best month of releases far this year. Losing Dark Souls in May broke my patience with this system.
@JHDK Cranky Kong wants to know what definition of "major standout" you're using.
@PanurgeJr A special indie game or a AAA game that has not already been for old hardware for over 4 years.
@JHDK Cranky wonders why age matters to majorness but not being one of the finest platformers ever crafted. Also, Shantae says hi.
Might grab Full Burst. I know nothing about Naruto, but the games look fun. Otherwise, more Death road and Immortal Redneck. Really amazing games the both.
@Agramonte It's currently #3 on the US chart.
@IceClimbers oh, that is great!... good games. Hope the Switch gets more stuff like this.
One Piece World Seeker would be great
thinking about getting A.S.S. but going to wait for a review lol.
Gotta say, I love the detailed, HD fur in Tropical Freeze. Funky looks like he'd be fun to pet.
I'm so curious about the Retro 3D Dungeon and Rainbow Snake games on the 3DS and Wii U. Hope reviews comes out for that soon!
Wait, was Shantae 10% off or something? $27 seems like a weird amount to launch at, otherwise...
@Agramonte Naruto is currently in the European eShop top 15, hopefully the digital sales are decent.
@rockodoodle you say that now, but you're totally getting Captain Toad, right? 😉
@JaxonH I hope you enjoy Tropical Freeze all over again, I know you hold it in high esteem, as do I! Literally one of the best games I've ever played.
@Dang69 720/30 for Little Nightmares is fine. The base PS4 runs at 1080/30.
Physical copy of DKC is on the way, preloaded Street Fighter Collection and Runner 3, Raging Justice looks cool but I'll wait for reviews.
So is there anything extra in the Shantae ultimate edition or am I better off just finally getting the dlc as that would be cheaper since I have the base game?
Only Raging Justice for me this week.
I'm trying to decide between physical or digital for Tropical Freeze. I save 20% if I buy a physical copy, but it also seems like the type of game I would want installed on my system at all times. Decisions, decisions.
$39.99 for Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy yet it only cost $22.99 on PS4.
My local Half-Price Books also had Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 on 360 for only $2.00 a few days ago.
And Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 was only $14.98 on PS4 and $8.98 on Xbox One at Target a few months ago.
@CanisWolfred Nah, this is the price.
I am waiting for Shin Megami
I’ll be picking up the physical copy of Donkey Kong, for sure!
...Meh.
@Captain_Toad Weird...
dktf physical, raging justice digial
Well I got Naruto last week, so I guess this is a slow week for me lol
@MartyFlanMJFan if I do, it will have to be on sale... I have bought 3 retail games x2. At least I have Prime, but you are still talking $120 plus . I will stock to Toad on Wii U.
@SlimeKnight for me at least, this seems like a physical copy rather than install. It's not like Smash, Splatoon or Mk8.... but that's just me.
Aw i can't vote nothing x.x
