Been waiting for Shapes n Beats for 4 years. So excited it's finally out!
Joe & Mac FTW! 😁
2 expensive amazing weeks in a row for the eShop. I’m loving it.
For 3DS, I’m buying Bloodstained. I’m still waiting on the fee Kickstarter backer code for Switch and I’m dying to play it. Yeah.. pretty much waiting a week for that while everyone else can just play it... So quasi-double-dipping on that one.
Otherwise WOW THAT’S A TON OF SWITCH GAMES!
A free Pokémon game? Sure I'll take it. Honestly, it doesn't look like I'll be all that interested but who knows, might be better than I think.
I'm glad all Pokémon fans get something. A free game for sure, but the casual fans have the two upcoming games in November and your more hard core fans get a Gen 8 game (hopefully) in 2019.
I’ll get Yoku during a sale at some point.
Saving for a nice 3D printer so nothing for me this week.
Charizard looks pretty derpy in that picture. I might download Quest just to see how stupid all the Pokémon look in this art style.
I'm good with my Pokemon Quest. Got to save my e-cash for BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle next week.
Just Joe & Mac for me. There's a few games up there that interest me but I've already bought Street Fighter 30th and Ikaruga this week and with all the games coming up in June I need to be a bit more sensible with what I purchase and what goes on the wishlist.
Onto the wishlist goes .
Yoku's Island Express
Just Shapes & Beats
Yesterdays Origins
West of Loathing
Forgot about Milanoir, really like the look of that but it isn't released on other platforms today as well so no reviews for it yet. If it reviews well I think I'll buy it this week.
Edit; just found a couple of Milanoir reviews, one good and one bad. Yep think I'll wait.
Isn't Them Bombs a 100% ripoff of Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes? That was a great game for non-gamer type parties, but Them Bombs feels uncomfortably similar.
What I want: Icey, Ikaruga, Bloodstained, and Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection
What I'll actually be downloading: Pokemon Quest
I have too much in my backlog, and too many games I want to play releasing soon, to splurge on anything right now.
Already got 2 of 3 games I definitely needed, Ikaruga and SF30th collection. Gonna pick up Bloodstained a little later, and maybe Joe & Mac a little after.
I am getting Smoke And Sacrifice. Been counting down the days, lol!
At the same time, not sure if I want to add West of Loathing as well or wait till I finish SaS...
Got SF on PS4 so Pirate Pop and Ikaruga for me.
Got Street Fighter, will take a look at the sales.
I've never been a Street Fighter fan or even played one of the games, but for some reason I'm really tempted to get this collection. I really like all these compilations Capcom is bringing to Switch.
Got Pokemon Quest and harvest moon
Mario Strikers Charged? On the Wii?!?!? (Yes I know WC starts in 2 weeks, but still.)
I know Wii U was a failure but offering MyNintneod Rewards on Wii games but still no Switch games? smh
Also weird no tie-in with Pokemon Quest and MyNintnedo. All of the previous mobile games have tie-ins. And since we need batteries and tickets to play it seems like a natural. Maybe they are waiting for the mobile game next week. Or maybe it's just a Gamefreak Game, not Ntinedo, so it doesn't count? Still seems weird though, MyNintnedo is all about the mobile, but not the Switch. Here was there chance to make a Switch game finally earn or buy some stuff. Weird.
@Rayquaza2510 That's the cost of your free healthcare and university. We get our cheaper prices because of free market capitalism.
ah man, Mario Tennis Aces doesn't start until 9PM tomorrow? That seems kind of late. It's running 3 days June 1 to 3 but only 42 hours, so really less than 2 days.
Is that Legend of Kay game any good? Looks like it could be fun.
Icey was the talk of the town last year, but I'm more about West of loathing today.
Already picked up Ikaruga and Street Fighter and will likely grab Bloodstained on 3DS (I think that's the better fit for that game). There's a lot out this week that interest me, but after BlazBlue I'll be spent for a little bit.
Holy Crap! That’s a lot of Switch games!! Ikaruga, Joe & Mac and ninja combat for me!! Maybe Fox N Forests!
@Toshiro_Baloney LoKay is pretty mediocre from what I’ve heard but I’ve not played it.
ICEY is a very interesting game. I originally played it on PS4 a good while ago. Though short, it does a few neat things with its narrative that are...best discovered for yourself. The gameplay is a little repetitive but it's not bad.
@abbyhitter free healthcare? Where? I pay €150 for my health insurance every month...
UK is not whole EU, I assume you mean their free healthcare.
Same goes for university, in some EU coumtries is very expensive.
Except in UK, in most EU countries we have higher cost for most stuff than people in US, not to mention costs depend per EU country.
West of Loathing! I had some fun with KoL 15 years ago and I've delayed purchasing WoL on PC until the Switch version came out. Looking forward to learning to laugh at stick figures again.
@Toshiro_Baloney - It's a decent game, but was $19.99 when released for Wii U and I paid all of $7.99 three months later. If you are interested I'd wait for the inevitable sale.
@Fake-E-Lee I've been drooling over it since last year. All my steam buddies love it, and it looks up my alley, just not a priority atm. Hope you enjoy it man! Its all cowboys and bad puns for me today! Also a lot of Sf alpha too. Too many games!!!
I hope Mario Tennis will get the pre-order double gold coins bonus on the American eShop as well, still got a bunch of money left on my US account ^_^
Nothing
@Dom - The Kid Tripp demo is available on both Switch & 3DS.
Mario Tennis, Ys VIII, Monster Hunter, Shining Resonance Refrain (now 10% Discount on pre-order), Dark Souls Remastered, Super Smash Bros, Pokemon Let's Go plus whatever they will announce on E3 (please Pikmin!) . My wallet is going to drain as it is so going to skip all the rest for now..... and....i just bought FIFA with my gold points because i could not let this bargain slip. Now i am really going to stop and start waiting for above to come out (still need to finish XC2 and DQ Builders anyway).
Tons of games available right now. Thus, I've been buying games that have gone on sale lately. Why create a backlog with full-priced games when I can create a backlog with sale-priced games?
Yoku is beyond amazing.. also snagged Smoke and Sacrifice!!
@rjejr Charged discount is on WiiU.
I was also checking mine today expecting a PQ tie-in. Then again, it doesn't have a mynintendo sign-in. Guess I'll just grind another 180 points in Pocket Camp on my phone
EDIT: I'm also bummed the tourney doesn't turn on till 9PM
@Rayquaza2510 Just...just ignore it. It's an example of either A) Some jokes are bad or B) false superiority.
No Mario Tennis Aces pre-purchase like EU? Don’t they want my money?
Between playing games on other systems and catching up on what I already have I think I have more than enough for the foreseeable future. Could change depending on E3 though!
Why is FOX n FORESTS on the list didn't it come out two weeks ago?
@Fake-E-Lee I always pick up Pixeljunks stuff. Haven't dug too deep, demo aside, into Monsters 2 tho. Runner3 took up my time last week. Along with Sky rogue and Battlechasers.
If I had a Swtich, Ikagura would be my choice. but I haven't completed some 3DS games. Switch will be mine in 2019 anyway... ~if a comet don't destroy our planet first~
Only Die for Valhalla for me.
The list is missing Songbringer, Milanoir and Pure/Electric Love.
@HobbitGamer "Charged discount is on WiiU"
Thanks, I forgot it was on the Wii U. Well it never really was on Wii U except as Wii VC, they should make mention of that on the page somewhere, seems a bit disingenuous. Switch has had a lot more Wii U ports than Wii U had Wii ports. Guess that's for the best.
More back logging goodness:
ICEY
Joe & Mac
Fox n Forests
I'm literally going to have to be extremely conservative with what I play, wait for sales, etc. Good problem to have for Switch, bad problem for gamers
Massive amount of crap - Just wait for Ys8
ICEY looks great to get!
Got Street Fighter 30th anniversary. Very happy to have CPS arcade SF on the go. and I have USFII so I'm good to go. Will add in a eshop card next month. Yay budgeting....
I’ve got Pokeymans Quest, and grabbed Harvest Moon Tuesday. I haven’t really played a HM since 64, so I’m enjoying the auto select. And I love that the entire thing can be done without touching a controller
I know we already have too many games, but wasn’t Figment supposed to come out today?
I picked up Pokemon Quest - it isn't bad - because it is free. It's a mobile game and definately feels like it was designed for that market first and they just figured "hey, let's put it on Switch too, cause we can". I am wondering if I will be able to play the same account on mobile.
I am curious about Harvest Moon, but have heard a lot of mixed things about it.
got physical copy of street fighter collection.
Confirmed: "West of Loathing" is the funniest game I've ever played. I turned on the "stupid walking" skill and couldn't stop laughing. This is definitely one I'm going to play through more than once.
Just realized Milanoir is not on this list. Released 5/31 in NOA Switch eShop. Looks great.
I got Bloodstained and Harvest Moon for Switch
