Re: Review: Fire Emblem Warriors (Switch)

BradC40

I've never played a FE game. While this isn't a "real" FE game I'd still buy it, but with Odyssey, Doom, Skyrim, etc, coming out for the rest of the year, there won't be enough time to play them all.

If there's a lull next year between games I may pick this up. Until then...just not enough time or money!

Re: DOOM Confirmed for Nintendo Switch Launch on 10th November

BradC40

@FragRed I thought the same. Glad this is coming out for the Switch and soon, but my first thought was geez, what is this a week before Skyrim? Ideally, it'd be nice to have a gap so I can finish one and jump right into the next.

But a minor complaint really, I'm happy both are coming to the Switch at all. Will be buying both day 1. Cant wait, less than a month!

Re: Review: Wulverblade (Switch eShop)

BradC40

This game was completely off my radar, but saw a review of it on Switch Force which peaked my interest and after reading this article I think I'll download it tomorrow. Another game I'll have to finish this winter, as I'll be splitting time with this and Steamworld Dig 2, Odyssey coming up, & might get Fire Emblem Warriors too.

Re: TriForce Announces The Yooka-Laylee Collector-Boxie

BradC40

Might have been willing to give this game a chance but the delay is too off putting. Same with Rime. I'm for sure taking a pass on these two. If a delay is a month or two no problem, like with Steamworld Dig 2, but when it's months on end its a for sure no for me.

Re: Nintendo Download: 5th October (North America)

BradC40

@MoonKnight7

I just got my Switch and a modded Nes Classic (91 games) I bought earlier in the year and haven't played since Switch came out. Yeah there's so much coming out this holiday season. Odyssey, Fire Emblem, Skyrim, Doom, Xenoblade 2, Resident Evil, Rocket League & various indie's along the way. Will be a busy winter for sure.

Re: Nintendo Download: 5th October (North America)

BradC40

Nothing for me this week. With all the hype surrounding Stardew Valley I would normally get it but I've got too much to finish already. I'm pretty far into Steamworld Dig 2, only about 1/3 of the way through Mario & Rabbids, and still haven't tried the new fighter in Arms. I'll be buying Odyssey and Fire Emblem soon, ah so much to do!

Re: Stardew Valley Arrives on the Switch eShop This Week

BradC40

Like others there are just way too many games I'll be buying this year. I'd like to buy this since the price is right and there is so much hype surrounding it. But I probably won't.

I see there is a farming simulator game coming out later this year. Wonder how that compares to Stardew Valley. I might wait to find out.

Re: The Inevitable SNES Classic Mini Hack Is Well Underway

BradC40

Good news. I bought a modded NES Classic earlier in the year. It has 91 games. While this and my Switch have given me hours of good times, I don't have the money or the time for another system.

But IF I were interested in a SNES Classic, I would wait for the entire gaming library to be available. Costly if you can't mod it yourself, but at least you can play any game at any time instead of just 21.

Re: Nintendo Download: 21st September (North America)

BradC40

SD2 for me for sure, a maybe on the Lego Ninjago. If I got the Ninjago it would be a physical copy. Haven't seen any reviews on it so not sure if its something I'd like. I don't think I can hold out for a physical copy of SD2, or I would.

Re: Review: SteamWorld Dig 2 (Switch eShop)

BradC40

@BensonUii That's a great idea. When I read the 6 hours part I thought there might not be enough there for a physical release, but if they include those games then that would make it worth while. Hope they consider it!

Re: Get Ready for a Nintendo Direct on 13th September

BradC40

It'd be nice to touch on what's ahead for the beginning of 2018. We know most or all of what's coming out through the holiday season, but it would be nice if they announced some specific dates we don't know yet. I'm okay if they talk about a port or two, if I haven't played it its new to me.

45 min is a lot of time to talk about things we already know. I'm expecting a few big announcements.

Re: Soapbox: The SNES Classic Edition Pre-Order Farce Proves Nintendo Hasn't Learned A Thing

BradC40

@DragonEleven Nintendo will not "continue producing them in batches until the demand dries up". They will produce enough to artificially inflate demand and not everyone will get one.

Having said that I'm glad I got my NES Classic earlier this year. I played it for a couple of months and Nintendo Switch wiped out any interest I had in it. I won't even try for a SNES Classic. It'll pale in comparison to all the games coming out for the Switch this Christmas season.

Re: LEGO Worlds Gets September Release Date for Nintendo Switch

BradC40

I'm thinking like some here are, lots of games coming out late this year. A few were delayed, a few are coming out later than I thought they would, so there's a lot of options after August.

I've read mixed reviews on this game, not sure this will make the cut for me. Maybe Lego Ninjago though.

Re: The Inkbrush Will Kick Off Splatoon 2's Free Additions on Launch Weekend

BradC40

Would love to get this game but I don't have internet at home & I'm not getting it just for video games. If internet were $10/month yes but it isnt. Maybe some time in the future though.

An interesting side note. Went to my local Walmart and 3 Nintendo Switch units were out. Wow! The first Switches I've seen since launch day. You might still be able to snag one if you travel to Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Re: Gallery: We Take a Look at the SNES Mini (With Waluigi)

BradC40

I got the nes classic off of ebay for just under $200 earlier this year. It came modded with 90 games and an extra controller, but still expensive. I also bought a Switch on the day it came out. Not interested in this one yet, I'll pass. One more for you guys to have.

Re: Nintendo Download: 13th July (North America)

BradC40

Once I get out of work, I'm going to download Death Squared and get the Arms update and test out Max Brass this weekend. I haven't heard or seen a video of the other games available this week. Since so many of you are into De Mambo I'll have to look into that one.

Re: Review: Death Squared (Switch eShop)

BradC40

This looked like a winner from the start but I wasn't completely sure. Glad it got a positive review here. Think I'll get it today or tomorrow. Another option while waiting for the Mario/Rabbids game.

Re: Cave Story+ Will Be Receiving Classic Graphics in a Free August Update

BradC40

Somehow I never played this game all these years. When it was announced Steamworld Dig 2 will be delayed I wondered what I'd play for the rest of summer. I'm not getting Splatoon 2 since I don't have internet at home. I decided to give Cave Story a try. While I'm happy with it, its a game that looks like it belongs on Super Nintendo. Most of the indie games seem to be like this, which is why I won't be buying many.

Once fall comes, there won't be a shortage of games for me to play since quite a few will be coming out. Can't wait.

Re: The ARMS Update Will Include a Mode That Allows Players to Become Hedlok

BradC40

I'm still liking Arms but I don't play as often as I did Mario Kart or BOTW. If I have trouble winning a fight, like fighting the same person 3 times and I keep losing, I'll put it away and move onto something else. But I do come back for more later.

I do like saving up $ to get more Arms.

I've got to get off of Kid Cobra, he's really the only character I've played so far. Once I win this current tournament I'm playing I'll start using the other characters more. Max Brass will be interesting, looking forward to the update.
