Nothing for me this week.
I'm gonna wait on "Don't Starve Together"
Nothing until Gal Gun 2 launches here.
Y'know, it'd be great if you guys could actually list the games on sale, when possible.
Nothing for now as the backlog is real
Don't Starve failed to impress me on PC. As for Regalia I am awaiting a port report. I've read PS4 version has some interface issues. It's been on my radar for a while, but I'm not too inclined to have this on Switch.
But that breakfast game has my interest. Also Dragon Blaze is released in Europe I believe?
Wow what a terrible week for games. Ugh.
Rogue Aces is the one with the pilot falling out of the plane and grenading an enemy fighter. My kind of chaos!
No mention of Wild Guns Reloaded on Tuesday? Guess that'll be on next weeks list
Dont starve together or Super Chariot demo. Nothing else matter.
So many games... So little interest.
Just Rogue Aces for me. Hopefully it plays as good as it looks.
@Ralizah https://www.nintendo.com/games/sales-and-deals
Nintendo’s eShop site has every sale, the list has handy filters, and you can download directly to your Switch. It’s great.
Regalia sounds verrry interesting. The steam reviews are mostly positive, but some of the negatives have me concerned. Looking forward to the Switch review on this one.
Probably the slowest week of the year thus far. I don't know what next week brings but most people will probably be building cardboard or battling God and goddeses on a rival console (what with the highest review scores for a game thus far this year).
@imgrowinglegs They link to it in the article, but sometimes it's nice not to have to navigate to an entirely different website to get my information, you know? Their content is almost entirely composed of reporting news uncovered by other people, anyway. The nice thing is having the news all in one place. Thus, I think they should list sales on their page.
Eternal Edge looks like a terrible Minecraft knockoff. Who wants those ugly visuals?
outside of Blockbusters I usually shop on sale, more interested in whats new on sale this week
@Mando44646 I would go with more of a 3D Dot Heroes knock off?
Supposedly it has been in development for a while and is coming to PC and Xbox. I mean I get most people don't like that Voxel look, but if done well, like 3d Dot Heroes it can be charming. This game looks like a mess, but I am interested in reviews.
I chose nothing for me this week but have a couple of YouTube reviews to go through for Burly Men at Sea and Don't Starve. These two are maybe's for me, though the reviews will have to really impress me if there's any chance of me buying. Heard Oxenfree is $5. If so may get that instead.
The pirate game sounds fun but I’ll wait on a review
I voted for nothing, but now I’m kinda thinking about getting Burly Men At Sea. Polygon just put up an article about it, and I’m tempted.
Already have Rogue Aces and Skies of Fury. Great fun the both. Will grab Pirates and Regalia too.
Well, this week is Skyrim for me! I can't wait to play the dragon out of it!
plenty of subquests
Unlike most people, this is a huge turn off for me.
No new games to my virtual library, but will be getting Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 on cartridge this Saturday for my birthday.
Awaiting the Asdivine Hearts review.
@SmaggTheSmug
Yep, we finally got Dragon Blaze here in Europe.
Amazing shmup!
God of War for me next week
This is the type of week where I really miss the VC. Tempted by Burly Men but eh... seems like I’d lose interest quickly (I just like the minimal vector graphics).
The whole first half of this year has been rather slow. Guess it’s back to Splatoon 2 - nearing 500 hours (I’m so bored with it).
What's that? A Free Wii U game? Hecks yeah!
I cried seeing don't starve...I'm so scared. Someone leave the light on?
Nothing for me. I'm good until South Park, Mega Man and Dark Souls drop. I'll get Wild Guns somewhere down the line. Oh and SF Aniv. Collection. I'm skipping DKC and Hyrule Warr. this time around.
Maybe don't stave but I don't know.
Guess it depends on your preferences, this is the first week in a bit that actual has something I want to buy.
Regalia, Don't Starve, and Streets of Red.
To each there own.
Quality not quantity.
@Biff_ARMStrong Get it physical anyway! Something super fun about getting a physical Natsume game for the first time in decades. Got mine preordered.
Streets of Red looks pretty dope, the "reference this, reference that, homage that" style of game is pretty worn on me tbh, but Red looks really pretty and fun to the play.
@gatorboi352 Both.
@Dazza Might want to update that link to Don't Starve!
Someone help me here:
"Nintendo eShop sales
Great deals this week! Check out the full list of deals available this week"
How are these in anyway good deals, its almost the exact same games that have been on sale for weeks now and most of them are till more expensive than on any other platform from PC to PS4
#Breakforcist was an awesome iPhone game so I bought it today, love the visuals and music. Will try the multiplayer later.
@Dang69 yeah I got the physical pre-ordered too
@FiveDigitLP Thanks
@earthinheritor Well they aren't going to say 'The deals this week kinda suck'. Although that would be funny.
@Ralizah True, but such a list would be unpractical and time consuming for almost no benefit. There are over 100 games across 3 consoles on sale right now. Some weeks (especially in the latter Wii U days) there were a few hundred titles on sale at any given time.
If they did what you are asking, these posts would just be a list of hundred (or more) games that most people don't care about. The link is there for anybody interested, and is a much better option.
This site generally reports when some noteworthy publishers have sales, so they have found a happy medium.
Possibly Shadow Archery. Not sure if it's my cup of tea, but it's free!
@justin233
SNES Classic
Yet another week of random indie games..
didn't Shadow archery already come out on the Nintendo Wii U or 3DS or am I thinking of another game that looks exactly like it?
I am not a fan of digital. But I cannot resist Don't Starve.
I want to play Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs, but can't justify paying $25 for digital, probably wait for sale.
Got Shelter Generations for my 10 yr old since there is a 10% off first week download.
This week game + Kdrama will keep me busy till Yakuza 6 release.
Don't Starve and Rogue Aces eventually. There are some other titles here such as the Breakforcist that I may be interested in depending on reviews.
Squareboy demo because it's decent looking and free
Shadow Archer because it's decent looking and free
The free Wii u game only probably.
@Crono1973 haha, i sort of wish they would. When PSN has up to 70% off and Xbox has Summer deals for weeks at a time..then Nintendo goes "Heres $5 off Astro Bear because we know you love it" it gets a little boring.
@Mgene15 I have one. It isn’t portable. I want a portable VC machine.
I wanted to vote for Shelter Generations....
The quality of NLife is dropping....
@justin233
Nintendo 3DS .
Ya’ll whining about a weak week. Honestly though I can name some fun games here. Gotta have an open mind people.
@Mgene15 New 3DS only and it's a very small handful of games available.
@justin233
lol I'm just giving you a hard time. I wish too VC would arrive too.
@SuperTeeter64
A weak week? A weak year so far..
Does Don't Starve Nintendo Switch include multiplayer support? I have seen conflicting statements on that. It is weird because the PC version treated single player and multi player as different games.
I've honestly got plenty to play already, but man is that a stinking list o' nuttin'. It feels like an age since Xenoblade Chronicles 2 now. Being able to go back and play games like Bayonetta and Donkey Kong TF is saving me money, but I'm screaming out for something new to get excited about. It's a bit sad that the only game I'm hyped for until Project Octopath is Dark Souls, an eight year old game I've already played to death. It seems like this year's release schedule isn't aimed at me in the slightest. Perhaps I was a little spoilt last year.
Bought the Skies of Fury DX game without hesitation, and I absolutely love it.
Waiting on more reviews of Streets of Red and Skies of Fury DX, though given my huge backlog I'm in no rush.
Nice to see that these days 17 new games, at least half of which are mentioned as potential purchases in the comments, now constitutes a 'quiet week'. Things have changed since the Wii U era.
Graceful Explosion Machine, Oxenfree and Tumblestones are all on offer and all recommended
Pirates... not that great.
I don't know after seeing GoW and how amazing that looks from a gameplay and visual aspect. I am left wanting more from my portable console.
Such whiny people, damn. There's actually some really good games on this list. I bought Eternal Edge, and I gotta say, it's a fun little game. Not bad at all.
@SmaggTheSmug I just started the PS4 version of Regalia, and I can confirm that it has some wonky interface issues: the sensitivity of the analog stick makes it really awkward to select a tile, and it's very difficult to select icons from the game's skill ring. The PS4 port was obviously made without the input of anyone who actually cared whether people would like it.
@guamyankee I just started Regalia, and there are a lot of minor issues that are annoying me so far: voice acting is mediocre at best, the story sequences between battles are a little too long and meandering, and the tutorials have an off-putting "smug" tone to them.
None of this was enough to make me abandon the game completely, though (I'll give it another hour or so this weekend) .
