FLASHBACK - yes! (I actually had forgotten that was headed to the Switch)
Nothing interesting for me this week.
Nothing for me
Woohoo! Crossing Souls for me, looks fun! I almost grabbed Flashback, but I've paid for it 3 times in my life so far. I was also thinking about Dream Alone, since it's on sale.
Banner Saga retail for me.
Quiet week for me. Might be time to buy some wishlist games. I have like 35 games on that thing, haha.
I'm hoping Titan Quest is good. Looking forward to reading hands-on impressions.
Wait, I'm confused. Why is Code of Princess EX under eshop unlike the other retail releases? Doesn't it have a physical release?
Once I finish Captain Toad think I'll pickup the Mega Man X collection.
Nothing for me. I'm busy with Mega Man X right now, and I'm currently on X3.
@ieatdragonz Well spotted. You have passed the test. Sorry there are no prizes!
Crossing Souls looks like it could be interesting. Keeping an eye on that one. And hey - more Xenoblades DLC!
Got Code of Princess coming and will probably get Titan Quest too.
I'd grab Code of Princess EX if it were a little cheaper...
Nothing for me this week.
Nothing for me since I just bought Monster Hunter Stories the other day. Might get some of those indies with my gold coins though
Anyone know if Hello Neighbor is getting an eShop release or if it’s physical only?
I downloaded OMEGA FIGHTER... and i have to say that game is amazing, way better then i expected from a 80's game. I STRONGLY recommend it.
I also want to use this opportunity to remember all shmup fans and anyone with a JP account that RXN is still on sale for less then 10$ on the JP eShop.
Just Paladins.
Code of Princess and Titan Quest have my attention.
@Supadav03 you can buy Hello Neighbor from the eShop of course, but it's a $39.99 retail price. You might want to wait for a sale!
Candle seems interesting.
Other than that, probably nothing as I have plenty else to play. Okami will likely be my next purchase.
@Dazza The prize is a more accurate article. That's all I need (that and some good comment conversation )
Hey NintendoLife,
Is there any way you can have Roland Ingram or another Japanese-speaking writer to review the Pure/Electric Love series. Their eShop descriptions are so jumbled and hilarious, so I’m wondering if the game’s writing is just as cringe-worthy. If it were not for the fact that it only features Japanese text, I would snatch it up and experience the torture myself.
Sky skipper is out.
@Dazza ok thanks! Only saw the “buy physical” option when I was on the Nintendo website. My sons birthday was yesterday and he really wants this game so I was hoping to download as soon as I could.
Nothing for me.
Next game for me will be Okami HD, assuming Senran Kagura Reflexions doesn't stealth release before then.
I still don't see Flashback available to buy. It just says to buy physical on the e-shop site.
@Dazza I'm getting an error from the Activities link. It brings me to this page where it says "error".

What a week. Lot's of good gems in there, even one's I've played already. Time for my weekly buy/rent/backlog/pass listings!
Arcade Archives Sky Skipper — It's not that I have to play this curio, I WANT to play this for history's sake. Nintendo's so hush hush about their own arcade games and I'm glad Hamster is unlocking it for us. Backlogging until the day I get paid.
Bud Spencer & Terence Hill - Slaps and Beans — Hoo boy, not familiar with these guys, but the gameplay interests me A LOT. Looks fun and funny. Backlogged for me and my co-pilot to run one day.
Code Of Princess EX — This'll be a pass as I played the original CoP already, but I give a thumbs up to this beatmup if you never tried it.
Crossing Souls — Not gonna lie, I like most things 80s as I was a kid then. Nostalgia aside, the premise and gameplay has my attention and I look forward to a review. Backlogged for now.
Flashback — Finally. I've had times to emulate and started it, but never put in work on it. Missed a chance to have it back in the SNES days. Whelp, no more. Backlogged and will be downloaded, probably first time it goes on sale. I should have a slot in my game time by then.
Pure / Electric Love "Everyone else!" - Ema Sakura and Pure / Electric Love "Look at my eyes!" - Moe Yamauchi — These are pass for me, but I HAVE to comment on them. When I first saw them (There's one more in the eShop before these) I thought that my Switch was still pulling in Japanese eShop games from that time when I added a Japanese profile to my Switch so I could demo Monster Hunter XX, but nope, this is actually ON the NA eShop. I'm really shocked these made it across the pond lol
The Banner Saga 3 — I'll pass on this only because I know the trilogy is coming and will GameFly that.
Titan Quest — Heard LOTS of good things about this and am looking to satiate a long time Greek mythos/RPG itch I've had for some time. Backlogged for now, awaiting review.
Zaccaria Pinball — I'm not familiar with the history of Zaccaria per se, but I do enjoy pinball. I still have Stern's and Pinball FX3 semi-collecting dust on my Switch for a rainy day before I buy packs for them. But if this free to start, and can match with Stern's and/or Pinball FX3, I'll be a-downloadin'. Backlogged and loaded, waiting for a review.
King of Fighters 97 for me. I didn’t know Code of Princess was coming this soon. Not sure if I’ll get that right away.
@MeloMan @Solomon_Rambling In regards to Electric Love.
I wonder how many native Japanese speakers are over here and Americas that these would make viable sales? When it first released in Europe last week it didn't state it was Japanese only til a few days after (with now a fairly visible notice stating it is Japanese only). It seems pointless to me for their release as I'm sure I am in the minority knowing Japanese.
I did pick one of them up for... science! Yeah lets go with that. They are as full of cheese as the Engrish google translate store page is. But they really aren't very engaging at all. Certainly interesting and a lot of responses recorded. But if you have little or no knowledge of Japanese, this is going to be complete nonsense. Though you can enjoy the english text loading screen.
I will check flashback
@rjejr yeah the link provided to us by NOA is broken. Not much we can do with this!
I would highly recommend Code of Princess.
I'm moderately interested in titan quest and code of princess, but not without a price drop. Also my backlog is super real right now.
Jesus Christmas that’s a lot of Switch games!! Grabbing the Pinball game, Sky Skipper and Omega Fighter!!
Titan Quest, and Sleep Tight. Grabbing Rogue Trooper from the sale.
@Dazza You can try this one.

the kirby 64 DLC update hits me right in the nostalgiafeels but just not a big fan of dropping $60 on a 15, 20 hour game even if it is the kirbs
Where is Warioware gold on 3ds. I will get this tomorrow and have read a few reviews, although i reckon its going to be a 10 out of 10 for me so underated then i guess lol.
Paladins, Code of Princess DX, Iconoclast, Salt and Sanctuary, Candle, Overcooked 2, Taiko and Okami HD are my late July and August games.
I wanted The Banner Saga but that physical trilogy is a rip-off. If at least the game would be completely on the card...
So you include the electric pervy things in the poll but not Piczle Lines....?
In case anyone wants to double-dip, or hasn't already played it, I just snagged Oxenfree from the eShop for $4.99 earlier. Well worth the money. I was even just hoping for a 50% discount, so this is that much better.
@Yosheel Why will you not look into my eyes, Yosh? There's puzzles in them.
@HobbitGamer with that avatar it's hard not to
Will get the almost free Gold Nindies, but probably nothing else. Just playing Fortnite, Xenoblade (on Switch a and 3DS) and returning to Mario Odyssey for more moons since I beat the game back in November with 375-ish.
I would buy Banner Saga 3, but I still need to play 2-
Was interested in Code Of Princess EX but I think $40 is expensive :-/...for the same money I prefer Crash or Captain Toad.
Lousy week for games and you didn't even put the full list of them in your poll. Are you guys hiring? Someone messes up this page every single week. I can handle this job with great attention details that everyone else doing this page tends to omit. 😁
Gosh I wish 3ds wasnt dead. Oh well I dont have room to download anymore games anyway
Banner Saga 3 looks interesting, but I need to finish the second one before jumping into the third.
Just Xenoblade's DLC for me - since I had the expansion pass.
Still loving Octopath Traveller. Just over 30 hours in and working my way through everyone's Chapter 2. Just found the last regular secondary job shrine last night.
Nothing for me of course.
No EU update this week?
Kinda curious about Code of Princess EX. Any plans for a review?
Once I have finished Octopath (almost 1/2 way ATM 35 hours in) will play Banner saga 2 as it is looking at me on my home menu.
So this week Banner saga 3, Piczle Lines - 500 more puzzles 😻
Then I will get Titan quest physically, although I still have to get Ys VIII and Shining Resonance so will see how I feel after Octopath.
@Yosheel if you didn't want me to revive the forum why don't i do a new one and stop bugging me because i did post my forum on the marko kart 8 thread.
@ProGamer281 ok let me give you the short version:
-Don't revive threads that have been inactive for over six months. Except...
-Discussion threads about specific games are fine to revive as long as you really have something relevant to say.
-Before starting a thread make sure there's a point to it. Just sharing a funny thought of a random piece of trivia is not good enough. If you wish to talk about your favorite Mario Kart 8 car then just use the main Mario Kart 8 thread.
-Do not create threads to ask for friend codes. There's several threads for that, and they're stickied to the top of their relevant forums, ask there.
If you continue creating useless threads or reviving dead threads I will have to ban you. So please don't.
@Yosheel if you go to the mario kart 8 deluxe discussion page there's 2 of mine there.
